When they showed up for the original diagnostic…read morecall, I realized that I knew one of them, and his mother, for several years, so I thought I could trust him, but I was so wrong! The initial diagnosis was a bad alternator. He said he could rebuild the alternator, replace my battery, and do an oil change. After the work was done, he called me and said he let my car run for a few minutes and then told me to drive it around the block. My son got 3 houses away before it completely shut off. The mechanic came back, when I called, hooked it up to a scanner and said it was giving the code for a cam shady sensor and he found metal on the dipstick, so he thought the timing chain had broken. He quoted me $1200 for just the part and I told him I needed a couple of days to weigh my options. I researched the part and found that it was, on average, a couple of hundred dollars. When I reached out and told him what I had found, he told not to buy the part yet because he wanted to check something else. This check revealed that my ignition coil was bad and so was a cam shift sensor. The parts were replaced and the car was was running and sounded great. When he turned it off and tried to restart it, it was completely dead. It could only be started with a jump. He now said that when the alternator went out, it must have messed up the wiring somewhere and he would be out the next day to see if he could find out where the issue was. He never showed the next day. I text the following day and got no answer. I called the following day and he said that he would be out that day. Never showed. He now refuses to answer, my car still won't run, it's been 3 weeks, and I'm out almost $1500. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Both guys are scammers and are only out to take your money.​

I went into Jiffy Lube for a mere oil change and came out thankful for so much more! While checking…read morethe engine the team found a huge crack in my motor mount that I was not aware of. I I drive my elderly father out of town for doctor visits and various family visits. If I were to have a major breakdown with him in the car it could be very dangerous with his health. I was shocked to find out this Jiffy Lube has a true mechanic on staff to do multiple engine repairs and services. They located a part and had a new motor mount put on my car within less than 24 hrs. The customer service was exceptional to say the least. They actually ran me home for my appointment the first thing the morning. When I mentioned I hate to be away from home for long periods of time as a caregiver they immediately offered to run me home and come back yo pick me up when the car was ready. I can't speak for all Jiffy Lubes but this one goes above and beyond!
