We had been told by a couple people that my son's car needed a new starter - Will easily identified a battery terminal issue after a quick diagnostic. Within a couple minutes, Will knew what the issue was, and we were able to go down to the auto parts store and purchase everything we needed for under $20. He was able to get the car running in less than an hour and went above and beyond to make modifications to one part I bought (battery bracket) because the store didn't have the exact type we needed. Will's work was pristine. I cannot say enough about how great of an experience this was. He is also very kind and pleasant! Additionally, I would like to note that he performed all repairs that were requested, he arrived within 25 minutes of my call, on a Sunday, in the snow, and had everything done within an hour (part of this hour was him waiting on my trip to the auto parts store!). This will be the only person I call for any mechanic needs. I've shared his contact info with my family and recommend him to everyone! I've dealt with several mobile mechanics in the Indy area and can say Will is obviously and by far the most knowledgeable, honest, and gets straight to the resolution of the issue. Once she got on Interstate 70, her car started vibrating at high speeds, so she exited at Greenfield and called me. I jumped on Yelp to find a local repair shop and saw great reviews for AMS. I called and explained the situation, and the gentleman on the phone said to send her over. Five minutes later he was pulling her car into his shop, and five minutes after that the problem was identified and solved -- ice and snow compacted between the tire and the frame. He confirmed it with a quick test drive, and wrote up the bill --$30. She was back on the road less than 30 minutes after exiting the interstate. So grateful for the quick, honest, affordable service. Other shops might have taken advantage of this situation -- but not AMS. The shop felt the problem was beyond them and recommended I take it to another shop just down the street. I called the other shop, left a polite voicemail to call me, never heard a word. Called the place after the Thanksgiving weekend ended and got a rude, lazy, unhelpful woman who clearly couldn't be bothered being of help or wanting business. I quickly said I'd look elsewhere. I then had the good fortune to find Jenkins. They are AAA rated/approved. I called. The woman answering at Jenkins Automotive Service couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. She took my information, said they'd be more than happy to take a look, and thought the odds were good they could help. Phil was polite in his phone call after looking at the engine, explained they needed to do some special electrical testing, and asked for my permission to do so. Several hours later a text from Phil came to my phone, with an amazing real video clip of my car, explaining the logic behind figuring out how the electrical problem was actually from an oil leak into the cylinders fouling the plugs and building resistance which was blowing a fuse, and how they would need to replace various parts, fix the leak, and get my car working. He was clear in his description of the problem, showed visual evidence for his conclusions in the video, and laid out a well understood plan. He asked my permission to proceed. The car was repaired after a day of work and it now works well. The parts are guaranteed for life. The cost was high, as I would expect, but not astronomical for the amount of work involved to fix a complex problem. I've never been more impressed with an automobile service shop, ever. I will gladly use them again for maintenance, for repairs, for tires, for anything. I will recommend them to anyone without reservation. They helped me in a time of need - professional and friendly, good people. I'm not related to anyone in the Jenkins company, I have no financial interest in them, and I received no compensation for this review. I'm just a grateful and truthful customer.

As they held air just fine - just needed replaced because of wear. Even if they were cracked prior -- why wasn't I informed? I mean the tech put a balance weight about 6 inches away on one of them -- how do you not see that? Made it about 10 mins down the road before TPMS went off. I limp it home and they had impacted the lug bolts so hard my 250 ft/lbs nut busting impact wrench was no match. (Torque spec is 89 ft/lbs. Had to find someone with an air impact wrench to get them off. Imagine if I wanted to put on the spare... Avoid if you care about your safety. After leaving this review on Google - a response from the "owner" was posted and mentioned to call 1 (800) 297-9886 and hit option 2... well that's their HR department, it continues to ask about direct deposit, payroll issues, if I need to report an ethics issue - ya know, internal HR stuff. Guest services is option 6 when calling that number - however none of the options past that get you anywhere. So I worked my way to tech support and asked to be transferred to the appropriate dept. They obliged but I was sent to the same menu I got when hitting option 6 which was a dead end as before. Reading other reviews I found an alternative number (1 (800) 876-6676) which seemed more promising as option 2 was guest services when calling that one. The phone rings longer and you have the option to wait or have them call you back. Waiting eventually ends in silence with no one answering and using the option to have them call you back hasn't yielded a call back yet.... The level of incompetence is baffling it's almost impressive.
