I filled out the instant quote and received a quote number. The quote response said someone should be calling me soon. After an hour I called them. After repeating all the info in the quote the scheduler I was talking to gave me a quote that was over $100 more than the website produced. When asking about it I was told it was because the website failed to get the correct windshield, even though I had provided year make model and trim. It also didn't include the moulding in the quote. I went ahead and scheduled service. On Monday when a I needed to verify the time the tech was to arrive, which was NOT in the time frame I was told by the scheduler, I couldn't reach anyone to confirm or figure out how to reach the tech. The schedulers were backed up and I hung up after waiting half an hour to talk to one. I tried the number option for service that was already scheduled but immediately went to a message that the office was closed but normal hours were 6:30am-8pm...I was calling at 10:30am. The tech did finally call and I was able to sort things out with him. Based on this experience I will never again use this company and it deserves a one star rating based on this aspect. Rich my windshield replacer arrived on time and was very professional, knew what he was doing, and completed the job in the expected time frame. He was very accommodating when I had a bit of a timing issue. Rich fished this experience with Glass America out of the garbage bin. If my rating were based solely on him it would be a 5 star rating. The scheduling however was so bad that I can not give better than a 2. Gerber Collision itself may be fantastic but their contracted glass service has some serious issues.
