Crab cake and 5 Shrimp, 1 Crab Cake with 2 SIDES

The ultimate seafood/soul and Asian food carry out. They have a great variety of foods and desserts. You can also by pre-made cocktails to drink while dining in. However, they have a bar you can order cocktails. It is very clean and a chill atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Molded dinner roll

Customer service is awful!! The cashiers can't read your name and then you spell it and they still can't find an order that's directly in front of them!! I waited 10 minutes for an order that apparently was already on the shelf The last time I ordered from here my dinner roll had mold on it!!! So this time I checked all the dinner rolls before submitting my payment but the cashier told me I needed to pay because she had a line, not my problem because when I arrived 10 minutes ago there wasn't a line and no one could find my order which was already on the shelf!! People typically order ahead to avoid waiting but understand things can get backed up for various reasons but not being able to communicate that effectively is the issue!!

Always a good time and good food at Mid Atlantic. This was my last visit of the year. Happy to stop in for food and cheer. Service is great as always. Good atmosphere as well.

I've been to Mid Atlantic plenty of times but never left a review. The parking lot was packed and there were no more spots left when I arrived. Once I got in, there were about 5 or more people in line but it moved pretty quickly and my food didn't take too long before it was ready. I ordered the crab stuffed salmon and bbq chicken. I would recommend both as they were super tasty. The portion sizes for the sides are HUGE so it's worth the money. A good amount of crab meat was in between the salmon all around good meals

Blackened catfish with sweet potatoes, macaroni and cheese

This has become one of my favorite go-to spots whenever I'm in Laurel. Over the years, the restaurant has made several updates and improvements, which I appreciate. It's clear they're committed to evolving and enhancing the customer experience. The food is consistently delicious and offers great value for the price. On my recent visit, I ordered the shrimp and grits, while my sister enjoyed the fish with macaroni and cheese and sweet potatoes. Everything was well-prepared and flavorful. The space is spacious and efficiently managed. Overall, it's a reliable dining choice, and I look forward to returning.

Turkey wings

I ordered oyster rockefeller. I only ordered 2 because I wanted to try it out first. Definitely wish I ordered more! The turkey wings were good. I do think they overload them with peppers and onion. The collard greens were AMAZING! So was the Mac and cheese. They give you really nice portions! Unless you want the long line wait I would suggest ordering for pick up.

Fried whiting, cheesy broccoli, stir fried squash

Service was great. Atmosphere was friendly. Cleanliness very good. Portions ... wow, super big. Food quality ... meh. I got 4 huge filets of fried whiting but there was still raw flour and bones. Cheesy broccoli and stir fry squash were ok but both sides came out warm and not hot. Tartar sauce was adequate but nothing note worthy. Overall decent experience but lacking. Drinks were good. We got a LIIT and a Sangria. Both were bottom shelf liquor but got the job done.

Shrimp tacos!! Delish!!

A plethora of fresh food is always at your fingertips here! They have a long list of yummy foods to choose from along with some delicious seafood of course lol I also noticed a large and FULL bar for those happy hours that are needed now more so than ever lol I ordered a tuna sandwich on some kind of sweet roll that was yummy!! I also ordered fried whiting, fries and cabbage but received collards that were decent. Super cool vibe in Laurel to check out with pretty quick service!

My favorite neighborhood spot. When you don't want to cook but would like a balanced dinner, this is the perfect place and happy hour is pretty nice as well. This spot stays clean, it's spacious and service is great , the owner seems like a fan favorite. Sometimes service is a little slow but you receive everything hot and ready. Expect to be indecisive because the menu is massive but the taste is consistent. The best part!

You can dine in and they've enlarged the dining area as well

Do they have high chairs?

Yes

I would like to contact the owner/owners of Mid-Atlantic Seafood to lodge a complaint concerning the New Carrollton location. Does anyone know who owns the company?

Call the Laurel store. Ask to speak to Brian (Mgr).

Are you ever going to deliver in laurel?

Uber eats pick up for them.

Are they affiliated with any food delivery service I E DoorDash GrubHub, etc?

I’m sorry but we’re not offering third party delivery service at this location.

How are the ribs?

Delicious

The name "Soul Boat" definitely lured me in but instead I got canned greens and uncandid yams. I was beyond disappointed the moment I walked in but decided to give them a shot anyway because I was hungry. My wife and I ordered the following: Whiting Fish Platter, Shrimp Platter, along with fried Calamari. The platters come with two sides. The whiting platter I ordered I chose collard greens and candid yams. You can tell the greens came out the can. The amount of stems and blandness annoyed me from the first bit. The candid yams have nothing sweet about them. The fish was unseasoned can tasted like a filet that was just dumped in a deep fryer and pulled out. I threw most of this away outside of the fish. My wife ordered the shrimp platter with mac and cheese and greens. The shrimp are LARGE. Same problem with the greens. The Mac & Cheese just wasn't giving. I also ordered a side of Calamari. I took one bite and the trash that went as well. This didn't appear to be seasoned or cooked as well. The food here is awful. No clue how people eat here. Living off the soul name is ridiculous as mostly everything felt like it came out of a can. I'll never come back here and I'd advise you save your time and money. The only thing good about this place is the staff and the fancy bags your food comes in. I do not recommend.

We were celebrating my dad's birthday and our server brought out a sign that said "Happy Birthday Dad" for the occasion. He was kind and courteous throughout the meal despite also bartending at the time. The food was rich, but quite tasty. Everyone loved everything we tried - from the spinach dip appetizer to the various entrees. Everything was seasoned really well and cooked to perfection. My partner commented that the roast chicken was really moist and juicy. My sister got the fried chicken which was sooo crispy and packed with flavor. My salmon (pictured) was a hefty portion and really flavorful. Nearly everyone had leftovers, which definitely justified the pricing. If you like bread pudding, don't skip dessert! That dessert was one of the best I've had.

Cute Spot, But Overpriced for the Food…read more Miss Toya's Southern Kitchen was an okay experience overall! The decor is super cute and gives Southern charm, and the staff was friendly. Our server was juggling several tables but remained pretty consistent and pleasant. Espresso Martini: 4/10. The toasted marshmallow was a nice touch, but the drink tasted more like cold hot chocolate than an espresso martini. At $16, I expected much better. Fried Deviled Eggs: 7/10. These were good, but $13 for four eggs (really 2 eggs) plus another $4 for crab meat, felt steep. The crab topping wasn't generous enough to justify the extra charge. Oxtails: 7/10. I saw so many recommendations online, so I had to try them! They were good, but at $40 with two sides, I expected more. Sides: The cabbage was overly buttery and needed more seasoning, while the mac and cheese was extremely oily. I even took it home and reheated it the next morning, hoping it would be better, but no luck. A few things to know before visiting: They charge $25 if you want to bring a birthday cake or cupcakes to the table. Parties larger than four also have to use one check, with an automatic 20% gratuity, so be prepared to split the bill yourselves. Overall, it's a cute spot for the ambiance, but the food didn't justify the prices for me. Maybe different sides would have changed my opinion, but I'd rather get oxtails from a good Jamaican spot for less. Glad I tried it, but I probably wouldn't return.

The menu noted that the price was 16.49. When the young man brought me my food, I asked him to let me speak to the manager as she was the person who took my order. I showed her the overhead marquee and she responded that they have two and the wrong one was up. I didn't argue- although I could have. Instead I told her she might want to make sure she update the marquee if she wasn't going to honor the price. While there are a lot of young people who work here- the manager wasn't- thus her reply was not anchored in inexperience. I was disappointed that she didn't offer to make it right or acknowledge that it was their error. That's poor customer service. Usually service is good and the food tastes close enough to grandma's that it addresses the craving. Just check your receipt.
