Dear micro center, This was my first time visiting, I must say blown away by everything. I will be back for all computer needs. Staff super friendly and willing to help out wherever they can. Got an awesome Thinkpad book bag out of it at a discount price because the tag was nowhere to be found. Unfortunately, I sat a very valuable item down and lost it. All staff was willing to help and I am grateful. Today is March 15, 2023 and I went in about 440 left at 630. Are cameras available to find my lost item? I am not upset at all as this is my responsibility, thankful for any help on this.

What I thought was a huge problem, they were able to fix in 20 minutes. Vincent knew exactly what the problem was, what parts were needed, and how to fix it. It was clear that he was an expert. I will always use Advance Solutions for my appliance repairs. For those interested...THE PROBLEM I (unintentionally) broke my washing machine after washing a pillow in it. (Pillow ripped - stuffing got stuck all over machine) This happened to me 8 years ago when someone put a string mop in my washer. The technician that came out then said my machine couldn't be fixed and I had to get a new one. I wasn't thrilled. Naturally, I expected similar response this time. But nope. Vin fixed it with expert knowledge, with super quick turn around time.

Extremely unhappy with 'service', been 6 weeks since they (Elijah I believe) first came out, needed…read moreto order parts. 'dang. OK stuff happens.' Came out the second time, "Uh oh... guess what? Wrong parts I'll order them ASAP" That was 18 days ago. Tried calling and left voicemails, always getting a 'BS' we will get back to you in 24 hours text. Finally got ahold of their 'team' today and they said 'oh we will order the parts now and come on out'. It had been 18 days since I last heard 'we will order the right parts', I've left voicemails during that time, and you are just ordering the part now !!?? 18 days after telling me you ordered them?!?!? WTF? Finding someone else, thanks for wasting 6 weeks of my time. Completely unacceptable.

Jonathan solved the problem in less than 10 minutes! My old…read moreLenovo laptop stopped charging. I looked around online for a repair shop and found this one nearby in Eastchester. I spoke with Jonathan and told him that I tested the charger with a multimeter and it seemed to have the right voltage. But I told him not to take my word for it because maybe I didn't test it correctly. He took a look at the charge port of the computer to make sure it wasn't physically damaged. The port was fine. He took another charger and plugged it in just to rule out a charger problem; the new charger started charging the computer!??? Out of curiosity, I asked him if I tested the charger incorrectly by telling him how I did it. He said that just because I was getting the correct voltage that didn't mean that it was supplying the right amperage. This may be helpful to others that read this review since many of us use YouTube to try and fix things: I learned how to test my charger by watching a YouTube video by a "computer tech". He showed how to test a laptop charger, and stated that if the voltage is correct, then the charger is fine. He didn't state that the voltage could be fine, but the amperage could be a problem. The lesson here is don't rely on YouTube or assume the worst if you try to fix your computer by watching a video and running a test on it that fails. Just take your computer to a honest and helpful professional like Jonathan. He didn't charge me any fee to take a look at my computer. I just bought a new charger from him and I'm using the computer now to write this review. If I need help with a computer repair in the future then I'll just go back to this shop. Highly recommend that you take your computer there if you're having a problem with it.

I highly recommend NCS on Mill Rd in Eastchester. My laptop was out of warranty when the sound…read morefailed and the manufacturer's website troubleshooting recommendations were absolutely useless. NCS ran extensive diagnostics and pinpointed the repairs needed. NCS is professional, knowledgeable and got the job done beautifully, at a fair price, and quickly. Jonathan, the NCS tech expert, kept me advised along the way. It was like having your own corporate tech in your neighborhood!
