As nostalgic as it was, the food was just ok. They do give a lot of rice and veggies but I was hoping for more protein - I feel like there was barely any shrimp added to my Chicken & Shrimp plate. However, it was still relatively cheaper than going to a restaurant. I think this plate was about $13. I'm surprised they didn't have napkins to grab - only the napkin that comes in the plastic with the utensils. They also secure their sriracha so make sure to add it before leaving the line. If you want something quick and cheap and don't mind just ok food, then give Sarku a try.

My toddler loves it, and we are able to share one order and both be full after eating. Edit: I think the price may have gone up a bit recently. Still good value though.

I understand that every driver experience is different so this review can't possibly say for example : "the food was piping hot and every time I eat it , and it always is" considering the following . With that in mind we got the delivery sent to the intercontinental San Fran, and not only was it EXACTLY AS AWESOME AS THE LAST TIME I ate it , it's my new BAR for sushi in general . I will have to say , I do not EAT SEA FOOD OF ANY KIND , however this place accommodated with the chicken teriyaki rolls . I finally got to experience the seaweed the rice and the alvacado and I can now say comfortably that I LOVE SUSHI ! ( please don't judge ) This has opened the door for me to try oyster sauce and literally not even think twice and now they have set the bar to a level I don't know if anyone else can beat ! . To round out my review I will say the perfect kind of ambiance is looking over the city and hanging in the hotel while wolfing whole rolls in your face hole without anyone watching .

What bothered me more was the service. They call out your number when your food is ready, and an older lady ahead of me kept asking if the order being called was hers. Sam, one of the cooks, seemed visibly frustrated by her repeated questions. At one point, he banged something down and started calling out the numbers much louder. The lady apologized and said she was just hungry. I felt the situation could have been handled with a little more patience and kindness, especially toward an elderly customer. The ambiance is exactly what you'd expect from a fast-food restaurant--casual, basic, and focused on getting people in and out.

Known for their chicken teriyaki plate, that's been a go-to for me since the days I worked at the mall in the mid 2000s, til today when I need a quick lunch after shopping at target. While prices have raised over the years, $11 for a plate of teriyaki chicken, veggies and rice is still a solid deal. From a food court perspective, while not mind blowing, it's always consistent. Could it use some more sauce and seasoning, definitely, but ultimately, it does what it needs to do. Pro tips: pay the extra for a double portion of chicken for a more hefty meal, possible two meals instead of one. Also, when they're building your plate, definitely ask for a couple extra scopes of sauce on your food or else it'll be hella bland.

Sarku had the longest line of customers, which was honestly what gave me the vote of confidence to try it, but once I started eating, I realized that must have been because it was located in a prime location of the food court! For example, the salad was pulled straight out of a newly-opened plastic bag. It was some kind of spring mix. There was no washing, no tossing, and no dressing. It was just a handful of dry leaves placed on my paper tray. That wouldn't have been too terrible if everything else had flavor, but alas, that wasn't the case. We had to go back to the counter in search for packets of sauce...any sauce. The "teriyaki chicken" was "just chicken". There was minimal teriyaki flavor and pretty dry. The rice was cooked well though, so that was good. The dumplings were crispy and dry. In any case, my daughter and I were hungry and still ate most of it. Our favorite items were drinks from a juice cart down the hall though. Sorry, Sarku!
