We keep asking her to keep looking and she keeps saying no we can't help u (racial profiling ) Can't be seen without reservation blah blah blah blah. Then my daughter gets upset and shows her the call and says oh yeah it's here .. we wait over 30 misns after reservation and so we finally sat down then me and my boyfriend ordered a sushi roll, which ended up having a hair on there ... my veggies were so hard .. I asked to get them extra grilled they just warmed them up !! I've been here before never had this experience. I'm not understanding if is new management or what's going on. Maybe not enough for employees but the bad service was everywhere while I was waiting. I sat at the bar and the bar wasn't nowhere near the bar. Waiting over 15 mins to order a drink I will not be coming back I rather make the drive to Benihana or Stockton somewhere where ppl actually appreciate their job.. And I walked away, and I didn't pay her anything because I asked her kindly to remove the sushi roll. It's not about the money. I have a restaurant in Madera. This is not how my customers are supposed to feel and how my employees are supposed to treat customers so yes when she tried to hold my friend hostage I told her OK bitch you're not getting none of my money bye

I'm going to stop here every time I make the long drive from LA to Oregon. It's somewhere up there along the way. Amazing service, played cool music, and can't complain about the interior. But the sushi... man, what a treat. Biggest rolls I've ever seen for the same price as a tiny 4 piece roll anywhere in LA. Best prices. I was impressed with some of the experimental rolls like one that was deep fried and cut like an eggroll, came with some amazing dipping sauce. Sake was delicious and warming. I'll be back!

You can tell they take pride in their fish. The Red Ocean roll seems to be the go-to item here, and I tried it. It's definitely good and well balanced, but it does feel like the restaurant emphasizes it a bit too much. While it's worth trying once, I'd actually recommend exploring some of the other rolls on the menu because there's likely even better options to discover. Service was solid with a very friendly staff, which always makes the dining experience better. Overall, a great spot if you're looking for quality sushi in Lathrop, and I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu.

I had made reservations for Mothers Day as I assumed it would be busy and it was. After making the…read morereservation, I received a text stating that 1) They would only hold a reservation for 5 minutes and 2) An 18% gratuity would AUTOMATICALLY be added. I do not like being forced a gratuity for a party of 2, but I have been wanting to try Shirasoni for a long time, so I agreed to it. Being so nervoud about losing our reservation if we were 5 minutes late, we showed up 15 minutes early. The hostess asked if wanted to sit at the bar and have a drink so we did. However, after 10 minutes not one person helped us. Employees walked by and looked at us sitting there, but no one helped. Finally a gentleman asked if we wanted a drink, we said yes and he gave us a menu. Because it had taken 10 minutes, the hostess called us for our table. They were putting 10 at a table, so it was elbow to elbow. I am not sure if 10 is normal or they were just doing this for the busy holiday. The food was excellent. I had the Ichiban (Steak and Shrimp) and my husband had the Seafood Dynamite. They were able to do the Dynamite without the spicy sauce, so this is an option. You get a lot of food. The miso soup is a $1 upgrade from the mushroom soup. The dressing on the salad had good flavor but a weird color and consistancy. Our chef was OK, not great and our server was a nice young lady but she was very soft spoken so it was often ahrd to hear her. Sadly the bathroom was terrible. The toilets were dirty (seat) and there was toilet paper, paper towels all over the floor from the door to the stalls. They definitely need to clean them more often

Scallops and shrimps were cooked nicely. The "spicy" isn't really spicy, it's just siracha. I upgraded to garlic fried rice but it wasn't very garlicky. Came with a soup and salad. Salad didn't look appetizing but was flavorful! Miso soup was nice and hot. Still haven't found a hibachi dinner in Stockton that I would come back too. Side note, made a reservation but got sat 15min later.

The burger had a great taste. We got the Salted Crunch Cake. Not my favorite, because I like cakes that are more spongy and one was a bit too dense for me. Service was good - attentive and quick. FOOD: Unfortunately both the Philly cheesesteak and mac n cheese lacked in flavor. For entrees, I recommend ordering the pizza (only available Wed-Sun) and burgers -- they're solid! We enjoyed the Boathouse Nachos and appreciated that the chips came separately from the hot nacho toppings. SERVICE: The service was great, and our waitress even walked out to us in the parking lot with our to-go box after we forgot it inside. So sweet! AMBIANCE: The best time to come here is on a sunny day when you can enjoy the deck and view of the water. There's a park right out front, so it's very family-friendly! We also brought our puppy with us twice and sat outside. PARKING: The parking lot is quite small, so you might have to park in one of the adjacent neighborhoods and walk over on a busier day.
