AWARENESS: Following the Moral, Welfare and Recreation (MWR), San Joaquin's page on Facebook, I learned for the next few weeks, some local food trucks would be on the base during lunch hours offering up some specialty food items for sale. Row's Roll, which I've had bookmarked for some time was on the list so, I decided to check it out. NARRATIVE: On January 23, 2026, I headed to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) in San Joaquin to check out Row's Roll food truck for lunch. Arriving, I located Row's Roll truck parked amongst four other trucks in at the North end of base. After looking at the menu and not being to decide on just one item, I ordered; Chicken Adobo, Pancit and Lumpia to take home. With the order placed, I waited about ten minutes when I got the "your foods ready" from Row. Once at home, I took a few pictures of the food items before I dug in and here's what I have to say about the various items. Pancit - Nice and hot glass noodles sprinkled with diced green onions, Carrots and cabbage. Very good. Chicken Adobo - Three good size pieces of lightly breaded chicken and an over easy egg sitting on top of some very tasty and seasoned rice with two pieces of Lumpia as ad added bonus and nice addition. Again, very good. Lumpia - I believe seven pieces of pork filled Lumpia which was served al a carte with a sweet sauce. The Lumpia was crispy, hot and had that perfect crunch. Very good again. SCENE: Normally, Row's Roll is located at the Lathrop Food Truck Plaza. But for thee next few weeks, she and her truck will be doing lunch (0800-1400) at the DLA San Joaquin - Tracy, which is a Department of War installation requiring credited credentials for access. RECOMMENDATION(S): If you have access to visit Row's Roll at DLA for the next few weeks, take advantage. If not, she and her truck will be back in Lathrop soon. came here for the first time. mostly just to try the ube horchata and ube coffee. we did have to wait for a while only because they were making a new batch of coffee. horchata was alright. honestly was expecting more for the coffee but it did have more ube flavor than most coffee spots. it did taste a little watered down but im guessing it was because of the ice since i had to add more ice at home. it did grow on me the more i drank it though. will probably get it again if i go back to the food plaza and want a coffee read more

Lathrop High School had an event after walking around I saw a big lumpia sign and ube drinks . I love anything ube and lumpia so I had to check it out . The drinks all looked so good. I got the ube coffee and oh my goodness it was so delicious. I want one now lol . They offered lumpia's of chicken or pork and also pancit . I had to get some lumpia' s to go I ended up making them later at my house . They were really tasty . When ordering I got the honor to meet Rowena she was so nice and attentive. We had a nice conversation and she mentioned she has a permanent location where all the food trucks of Lathrop are at . You can't miss it off the freeway . She also does pop ups . Overall the food is very tasty and I can't wait to have an other ube coffee. read more

Disappointed. Ordered the Sisig bowl and Shanghai lumpia. Check out my picture. I think the made it wrong unless their Sisig is some kind of fusion. But it was wet. Not crispy. There was all this nasty cheesy sauce. Ate a few bites and tossed it. Terrible. They had kids working in the truck. I don't see any Filipinos back there. They may have made it wrong is what I'm thinking. Service was good. This is just about the food. Ordered the "Life is good" combo which is supposed to consists of pancit and lumpia. I'll give 2 stars for the lumpia but I was very disappointed in the "pancit". I can't even call the pancit I ordered "disgusting" because it didn't even taste like anything, literally bland tasted like nothing. However, besides the dish tasting like absolutely nothing, the noodles they use for the pancit is more like Japchae noodles rather then glass vermicelli and/or bihon noodles. The noodles were nasty and wet and felt like they had in sitting in a bucket of water and/or oil. Hands down this is the worst pancit I have ever tried in my life and this is my first time ever eating at this truck. Not to mention the pancit doesn't even come with any meat at all, no pork no shrimp nothing and it cost $15. read more

Lumpia ..I give it 5 stars. I prefer mine skinny and crispy so they are perfect in my opinion! I've ordered large platters for parties about 8 times in the last few years. The reason why I can't give 5 stars is they are so incredibly hard to reach. How are customers supposed to reach you guys? It's not clear at all. To just completely ignore messages, calls, text when you advertise ordering platters for events is unprofessional and quite frustrating even for regulars. read more

Overall I would rate this experience 2.5/5 The service was quick. 4/5 The food was very MID. 2/5 I ordered the adobo wings that came with two lumpia, and an egg. The adobo wings were decent, but they are not adobo. Decent flavor, juicy, but nothing to tell the world about. The lumpia (I got chicken lumpia) was the thinnest lumpia I've ever seen! I have eaten at many Filipino spots and I've never seen it this thin. It was LITERALLY the size of a small sharpie. The flavor was decent, but nothing spectacular. The picture shows the meal coming with a boiled egg, I was served a fried egg. If you're serving a fried egg, always ask the patron how they want it cooked. Other than that too much rice for the protein received. The price of this meal was $17, entirely too expensive for 6 small wings, 2 nearly pencil thin lumpia, 1 egg and rice. That should be $13 max. For reference, 2 of their lumpia would equal one lumpia Shanghai at any other Filipino establishment. After a long day at great wolf, my friend said check out the food trucks at lathrop. I walked by all of the trucks and came back to rowsroll. The nice women greeted me and asked if I had any questions. I already knew I wanted to try the sisig bowl. I am so glad I did. It was packed with so much flavor. I wish it was closer to my house so I could eat there more often. After checking the reviews I saw my favorite nba player Byron Scott recently tried the ube coffee and loved it. Next time I will get the pancit and adobo wings. Do not skip this place if you love good food. read more

When I saw the ube burger...I had to chase down this food truck! Started following her on IG and was able to come by when they parked close by to me. The wait wasn't long and she was fast and friendly. I loved that she noticed I would need assistance to bring my food over without having to ask. I am unable to carry things so she brought my order right to my car but conveniently I was able to park in front of the truck so either way it wasn't a hassle for anyone. I ordered as well the pork lumpia which I didn't take a picture of but was given the option to get half chicken half pork but just went for all pork. As for the ube burger, you would think the bun would be sweet but it wasn't! It was just the right amount of sweet. Definitely coming back for this pretty patty!! read more

First they said to give them 25 mins. and then they called us to say they have no rice anymore and we have to wait another 20 mins that took 25 mins. Like really??? We contacted them a day before my niece's 3rd birthday looking for a party tray of lumpia for her party. Row's Roll was able to accommodate on short notice with reasonable pricing. My husband and I tried Row's Roll for the first time when we last visited Stocklandia (RIP) and we thought the food was decent. In my husband's words, "Just OK." The truck wasn't particularly busy when we visited. We ordered the spaghetti with fried chicken, lumpiang shanghai and bbq chicken sticks. I had been following the truck on IG and wanted to try it out for a while. It took about 20 minutes for our order to be placed and ready. The bbq chicken was kind of bland. The sauce they used barely saved it from being not good. The lumpiang shanghai was probably my favorite but it's simple enough not to mess up. I was most excited about the spaghetti but it was kind of a miss too. The noodles were undercooked and the sauce kind of just sat on top of it and wouldn't mix well. The fried chicken was the saving grace of that dish. Fried nicely and juicy in the instead. All in all I would try the truck again but alas, the search for great authentic Filipino food in the Central Valley continues. read more

Any time I'm back in California (moved to Texas recently) I make visiting Rowsroll a must to get my Filipino food craving satisfied. Everything from the pancit, lumpia, burger, bbq sticks, spammies and much more is always on point! She catered my rugby teams end of season party and everyone loved it. Very disappointing. I understand that when a restaurant is popular they may run out of food items, however you should not sacrifice quality. The lunch plate I ordered should have come with a chicken bbq stick, which they were out of. Their photos shows their pancit has veggies. Mine was plain noodles. I asked for lumpia to replace the missing chicken, they gave me one. The lumpia were good but small. Not worth the price or the long wait time. read more

Decided to give them a try at the Ube Festival. We ordered the spam plate, ube burger and lumpia. The spam plate according to my son was fine. Nothing totally special about it. The ube burger was nothing to write home about either. I make ube pandesal at home and have tried other homemade Ube pandesal that has much more flavor. The fries we got were cold....probably because the line was long and they were really having a hard time keeping up with everything. The lumpia was your standard- good enough to satisfy your craving if you can't have your moms lumpia lol. I'm writing this review to provide feedback to the owner for the 3 times we've tried this place and 2 out of 3 our experience has been horrible. The first time we waited for the Food Truck by the Manteca Library stating they would be at their location at 5pm waited almost an hour before they showed up. We ordered spaghetti and pancit with lumpia. We wanted to try the bbq sticks but they didn't have any. The spaghetti was cold! I told the owner and she said they forgot to turn on the steamer. The vegetarian pancit and chicken lumpia were good and recommend. The second time we came they had bbq and it was good. We didn't have any issues and wonder if it was because the owner was there. The third time we went they ran out of pancit and only had 2 items on their menu. I don't know how they stay in business with long waits and barely any consistency with their menu. Overall, people that work in the truck have been nice and polite. But there definitely needs to be more consistency with their timing of their arrival and what they're having on their menu. 2 stars for OK customer service and good pancit/bbq. read more

I was really surprised by the quality of this menu item. The egg was cooked so beautifully and wasn't too undercooked but not over! The beef was very flavorful. It also wasn't chewy as other restaurants makes theirs so chewy. I enjoyed eating both with rice. The lumpia is properly and culturally accurate to lumpia In the Philippines. I was extremely pleased with this because other restaurants don't make it the same way. I ended up ordering another dish of this to take to work tonight and bought a pancit party tray for my family. It was just enough of vegetable and noodle proportions for the dish and my family! We lived in San Diego for a while and couldn't find food like this! We plan to go back next time they open! Tried this for the first time today at Stocklandia and 2 stars is all I can give. We ordered 4 Bbq chicken sticks and an order of lumpia. The chicken sticks were very bland, definitely lacked flavor and below par for "Filipino Bbq". The lumpias were tiny pieces, about two inches long and the meat inside was super dry and the wrapper was too thick. For those that's never had Filipino food, this food truck would be a downer to start with. I'm all about supporting local and not one to ruin business, but I'm just being honest about the food. I wanted to try the pancit, but opted to pass based on the two orders I purchased. Filipino food usually bursts with flavors and are ones you'd crave and go back for, but the ones I had here were just a bust . Had the chance to try this Filipino food truck out while they were at Stocklandia. The menu isn't huge-veggie pancit, bbq chicken skewers, a thinly sliced marinated and grilled beef served over rice and pork or chicken lumpia. I wanted to try a little bit of everything so I ordered a combo plate with an extra chicken skewer. I would say everything is on the right side of good but not the best I've had. Both the pancit and chicken skewers had good flavor but lacked salt. Something that I feel like you need when cooking meat in particular. However the sauce on the skewers was good and after adding some lemon and soy sauce to the pancit, it was tasty. We only tried the pork lumpia and those were very good but really tiny! I should have ordered more. The last thing in our combo was the marinated beef. It was a bit too sweet for me and the rice it was served with was jasmine...ugh! My absolute least favorite type of rice. Overall I would have to say we liked it but did not love it. Would I have it again? Maybe. That doesn't mean you might not love it so give them a try and support a local business! read more
