I was really surprised by the quality of this menu item. The egg was cooked so beautifully and wasn't too undercooked but not over! The beef was very flavorful. It also wasn't chewy as other restaurants makes theirs so chewy. I enjoyed eating both with rice. The lumpia is properly and culturally accurate to lumpia In the Philippines. I was extremely pleased with this because other restaurants don't make it the same way. I ended up ordering another dish of this to take to work tonight and bought a pancit party tray for my family. It was just enough of vegetable and noodle proportions for the dish and my family! We lived in San Diego for a while and couldn't find food like this! We plan to go back next time they open! Tried this for the first time today at Stocklandia and 2 stars is all I can give. We ordered 4 Bbq chicken sticks and an order of lumpia. The chicken sticks were very bland, definitely lacked flavor and below par for "Filipino Bbq". The lumpias were tiny pieces, about two inches long and the meat inside was super dry and the wrapper was too thick. For those that's never had Filipino food, this food truck would be a downer to start with. I'm all about supporting local and not one to ruin business, but I'm just being honest about the food. I wanted to try the pancit, but opted to pass based on the two orders I purchased. Filipino food usually bursts with flavors and are ones you'd crave and go back for, but the ones I had here were just a bust . Had the chance to try this Filipino food truck out while they were at Stocklandia. The menu isn't huge-veggie pancit, bbq chicken skewers, a thinly sliced marinated and grilled beef served over rice and pork or chicken lumpia. I wanted to try a little bit of everything so I ordered a combo plate with an extra chicken skewer. I would say everything is on the right side of good but not the best I've had. Both the pancit and chicken skewers had good flavor but lacked salt. Something that I feel like you need when cooking meat in particular. However the sauce on the skewers was good and after adding some lemon and soy sauce to the pancit, it was tasty. We only tried the pork lumpia and those were very good but really tiny! I should have ordered more. The last thing in our combo was the marinated beef. It was a bit too sweet for me and the rice it was served with was jasmine...ugh! My absolute least favorite type of rice. Overall I would have to say we liked it but did not love it. Would I have it again? Maybe. That doesn't mean you might not love it so give them a try and support a local business! read more

3 stars because the guy working was very friendly and welcoming.... 1 star for the prices... 2 tang drinks (yes, TANG) Ube burger, Adobo wings, and Island beef plate were $50... 50 bucks? Way to pricey 1 star for the food... Not going too nag or crap on their food, but rather offer some suggestions... The ube burger would be 1000x better if they used a hand patted beef Patty with seasonings. It's clearly a frozen Patty that is extremely dry and makes a less than mediocre burger. The ube bun is a great idea, but the patty is terrible The adobo wings... My wife is 100% Filipina and her family came from the Philippines, and that is NOT adobo. The wings were cooked well as good, but there's no adobo flavor, sauce, or anything adobo about it. Suggestion... hire a Filipino cook that knows adobo Island beef... just a little too salty, but not terrible I feel like this place just needs some minor adjustments and would be very good. Wanted to try the hype of Filipino food, very disappointing. No flavor, prices are high. Lumpias are not fresh, looong wait and too small. Not impressed. Noodles plain hardly anything (I could have cooked my own noodles to add my own taste) skimpy, no salt is needed that's for sure, Would not go back. waste of my time, was worth the try. there are better Filipino food places. This food is absolutely so delicious! I've tried so many other Filipino restaurants and foods and Row's Roll is my first choice. Their barbecue is cooked so good and it isn't dry. When I got the chicken wings, I was really surprised to how good they tasted. A great pair with the rice and lumpia. The lumpia is cooked very well and isn't dry on the inside either. The lumpia was so addicting because they had a crunchy outside but the inside was hot still! They are the perfect size. Everything tasted so fresh and new. Wish i could've ordered wayyyyy more. I look forward to the next update on the menu to try more items! read more

Horrible service, no communication. We waited for our delivery. Nothing. No call, no message. An entire party waiting for food. 45 minutes after it was supposed to be here, nothing. No response to messages, nothing. They SAW the messages, but decided not to respond. Finally after 50 minutes, a vague response. When asked how long the wait might be, ghosted again. I don't care how good it is, when your communication and service is this bad, you lose customers. Now I have an entire hungry party who will never eat from them. read more

The truck is beautiful. The food looks beautiful. I was intrigued being a Filipina and looking for some Filipino food that meets my standards so my family and I decided to make the drive to lathrop, ca to a food plaza where rows roll would be for the day. After waiting quit some time which is understandable because we did have a big order. I must say I'm very disappointed. The food on instagram looks delicious but trying it for the first time I'm sad to say it looks better then it taste.. we tried every plate they had to offer today.. a chicken adobo plate "which lacks the authentic adobo taste" reminded me of a fried chicken and rice plate. I had the "happy day" plate which is just pancit which I was looking forward too but was sadden to find my pancit had no flavor it tasted of glass noodles and pepper.. my children had the spamie plate which I have to say could've been the best one and had the most to offer except i would've preferred the seaweed wrap to be placed on top so I was able to make a masubi instead it was placed under the rice and turned soggy which made it very undesirable. All in all my experience wasn't pleasant. Not worth the drive and customer service not very good. Maybe it was a bad day for them. Maybe they just didn't have that Pinoy joy that us Filipinos put into every meal. Whatever it was I will not be trying this food again.. read more

I wanted to try out Filipino food and decided to come to Row's Roll and I was very pleased. The food was delicious! Everything was beautifully cooked. The meat had the perfect texture, the lumpia was super crunchy, and the rice was nice and fluffy. They serves the perfect portion sizes for each dish and everything went well together. The wait to get the food wasn't too long either, and I was very happy with the service. Also, the ice cream was beautifully presented and was absolutely amazing.
