Love getting to checkout some food trucks! We stopped in and when I seen the fried chicken options that Hot Tender Station has, we knew we had to give their food a try. We ordered the Nash & Tender Fries with Medium heat and seasoned fries. It only took them about 5 minutes to serve us our food, which was packed to-go. So, what's the consensus? The loaded fries were yummy- well cooked and crispy while fresh. The seasoning on them was delicious as well. Of course the fries were loaded so it was hard to pick them out. Only a few small opportunities on the side because these were not just loaded.... They were LOADED. Overall, they were pretty delicious. My husband and I split one serving and it was plenty of food for us both. I'm not a huge pickle fan (put them on the side for the hubs to eat) but the secret sauce seemed to have a lot of relish flavor. So, if you aren't a fan of relish the sauce may not be for you. But my husband loves pickles and enjoyed the flavor profile. The medium heat wasn't very spicy, to me it was more mild but the guy who took our order told us to expect that! Next time we're back we'll probably try the chicken tenders on their own so we can judge it on its own. But overall, we enjoyed their food! Yum! read more

Food Truck #9 We've been missing out. We passed by this food truck many times. My boyfriend one day ended up getting a chicken sandwich from here. He said it tasted so good. Let me start off by saying I love chicken sandwiches and I was craving one and saw this place. I had never tried this place before nor even ordered from that food court yet so I thought I'd give it a try. I was excited and hopeful based off the pictures, looked pretty appetizing. Side note: I do not eat fast food, and if I do, it's very rare. I will try new places once every few months for a type of "cheat meal." I got the combo #4 which came with a chicken slider, an extra chicken tender, and a side of mac & cheese. The mac & cheese was pretty bland. I honestly took two bites of it and threw it out and also noticed that if you order it on the side it's $6 which in my personal opinion I don't feel is worth it unless you want to add a bunch of spices to flavor up the Mac yourself (unless of course you like that type of Mac) The slider itself was OK I did get medium heat which was perfect amount for me considering 10 hot Cheetos is my max for heat. I do think there should've been a little bit more coleslaw to balance out the flavors a bit, but I do think that the chicken taste better à la carte. The spicy sauce and the seasoned french fries we're good though. They ask of you want the fries "regular" or "seasoned" but ignore what you say anyway, even if you specify that it's going to children. Dry old bad chicken. The people are friendly but the food is complete garbage. 13.50 for three chicken tenders and you'd expect something better than gas station quality.
