Got into an accident and had my car brought to Michauds. Put it back together like it never happened. They even used touch up paint on some scratches that weren't accident related while detailing at the end. Also gave me a complimentary rental car free of charge after my insurance company was dragging their feet and racking up a huge bill for rental car cost. Great service. I had a small scrape at the bottom of my bumper so I went there to get a quote, the manager told me it would be around $700 to properly fix it and make it look brand new by taking off the bumper, sanding it etc. Then he gave me the option of having his guys just paint over it at no cost. I asked why at no cost and the manager said "because that's what we do here". Right then and there they took my car to the back and after ten minutes they gave it back to me and I loved the result. Because of the location of the scrape I chose to save the $700, hardly noticeable and they matched the paint perfectly. Idk how this place has 4.5 stars instead of 5. What my insurance company estimated to be $550 in damage, only needed a few mins of tinkering to fix, FOR FREE. They absolutely could've charged me, especially since I was expecting to shell out $550. Anything less would've been a "win," and I don't know anything about cars. But I didn't pay a dime, and this was my first time ever going there. The owner, Wayne, said "that's just how we do business here." Especially during a tough time (I'm out of work because of COVID19), this really made my day. This place is run by good people. I'll definitely be going here for all future work, and referring everyone I know. read more

I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado duramax pickup truck. The truck had several water leaks from roof and a lot of rust all over quarter panels frame etc. I contacted Lucien Michaud the owner and he was great ,knowledgeable and felt like you knew him forever. Lucien had one of his techs work in my truck who knew chevy trucks inside and out. His name was Eddy who also made you feel comfortable that your truck was being taken care of. First time I went to Michaud's, my neighbors wife had backed into my Jeep's door (claiming she hadn't, whole other story) and dented it. My regular mechanic (Trudeau's, see my review) doesn't do body stuff, recommended I go see them. Wayne was awesome. Fixed my door *at no charge*. Sure it only took a second, but a ton of places would still charge you for something like that. Not here. After I got a new car, which seems to have been cursed since I needed a new bumper THREE times (two times I was rear-ended and once was my fault). Jackie, who works the front desk, and I got real friendly by the time I was finished with that car. The first bumper they got was from a junkyard and he wasn't happy with the quality so he got a brand new one, telling me not to worry about it, he'd work it with the insurance company. Sure enough, I didn't have to do anything. Hell, every time they took care of everything; insurance, rental, etc. I didn't have to do anything except drop off my keys and then pick the car up when it was done. Other than needing to see them quite a bit in a very short amount of time, the experience with them was always awesome and top notch. It's really, really hard to find a mechanic you can trust and I've been extremely lucky to never get screwed (knock on wood) and to have had great experiences with mechanics. God forbid you need them, but if you do, go see Wayne and Jackie and the people at Michaud's. read more

I was in an accident that destroyed the front passenger side of my vehicle. I had it towed to Michaud, because it happened to be the closest body shop to the accident. They sat down with me and explained the process and called me a rental car. After about an hour at the shop, I was on my way to work. They kept the vehicle for a month and a half. Seemed a little excessive to me, but I'm a patient man, and I was in a rental anyway, so no big deal. They gave it back to me looking great, but I was back a few days later because the drivers side wheel was squeaking in an annoying way, and there was another noise under the passengers seat. Also, the horn was not connected. I brought it in and they reconnected the horn and sent me on my way. They did not address the noises. I was annoyed, so I let the insurance company and contacts listed on the Michaud website know that I wasn't satisfied with what had been going on. They arranged another rental for me, and had me bring the vehicle back. This time they sent someone for a ride with me to listen for the noises. The next day, the car was fixed. They called to let me know that the squeaking sound was coming from just worn brake pads, which was no fault of theirs, and the other sound was due to a clip that held the muffler up that had rusted off. They welded a new clip for me and changed the brake pads / rotors for me for just the cost of parts. I was happy with this. Neither of those issues was likely a result of the accident. It's hard to tell. So all in all... Michaud took their time and messed up on the horn thing, which is serious... but they did make good on their guarantee and I felt as though they legitimately wanted to provide great customer service. They never copped an attitude with me, or wrote off my concerns. They were always pleasant and treated me the way a customer should be treated. I think they're nice people running a good business, and they made all my concerns right, even if it took a little more time and work on my part than it probably should have. read more

have a metallic gold car(and yes my spelling sucks lol).with a drivers door needed to be fixed.first they painted the bloody door the wrong color.they painted it a gold green and was very noticeable. second the plastic trim came flying off the second time I picked my car up.they used double sided tape to hold it on, not the clips they are sapose to use.they are very friendly and quickly fixed the issue.but will never go to them again read more

These guys are the BEST! We had a corrupt tow truck driver(slime ball) Roy's towing, pick up our truck and refused to drop off at my auto body shop. I called Michaud auto body and he went way and beyond, and dealt with Roys to get our truck at his shop, while they were on vacation for the week.
