Visited on a Friday eveing and found the store well stocked and organized. Price scanners were in working condition. But I found a larger Artists Loft Paint by Numbers kit of the same price as the regular size ones. Not sure if that was a mistake. But also liked the new designs. read more

Michaels sells Artificial Intelligence generated art pieces, beware! They sell art poorly made by robots, disappointing since it's a literal art store. They should support real artists. Also, very overpriced materials. I really used to love this store but it has gone down hill. read more

I went to 2411 W Schaumburg Rd Schaumburg, IL 60194 United States location last night and forgot my wallet in the shopping cart. When I called this morning the store manager Erin said she did not have a wallet reported. I asked if she could check the cameras she told me it would be pointless because they aren't facing that way. She did not take down any information from yesterday besides my name which she didn't ask me to spell and phone number which she couldn't repeat back to me. Michael's help me understand why you don't have cameras facing all your products. I am so incredibly upset with how this situation was handled and I will be escalating the situation and calling the cops in hopes I can get my questions answered and better assistance. read more

All the employees I have interacted with at Michaels on West Schaumburg Road have been very helpful and friendly. The store is clean and spacious, and it stocks a wide variety of crafting supplies. Moreover, there are often coupons on the Michaels app offering significant discounts in-store or online, from which it is easy place and order and then pick it up at the front counter. read more

Not a friendly cashier. I spent 160.00 on my Purchase and the cashier did not say thank you at the end of the sale and i bought 12x12 card stock and the thin plastic bags kept ripping and she had attitude that she has to double bag them. She was not friendly. I've had this experience at two Michaels locations now. read more

I'm with my wife when we came here yesterday. Yes, after we ate our lunch we went to this place. They have a huge parking lot inside. It's easy to park my car since there is a lot of vacant space. When we enter I'm amazed at how they have a huge and great selection. I just followed my wife where she was going. We were at a crafting materials section so I just grabbed my phone and took some photos of this selection. Then we went to the selection of a display. My wife wants to buy a frame and he can't decide what design and color to choose. So I suggested to her that the beige frame would be perfect for our wall. We also bought coffee glasses, mirrors, a basket and many more. My wife is so happy with our purchase. We highly recommend this place. read more

I love to do arts & crafts projects.. with that being said I frequently go to hobby lobby but this time I was close to Michael's so I decided to go in for a quick run, what a disappointment... They have a very small selection on crafts and it took forever for me to get a yard of fabric, there were two Associates behind the counter who seemed to be having a nice talk without acknowledging the customers... I wasn't the only one waiting for fabric there were also two other people waiting, one of them asked a question to one of the associates to which her answer was I don't know have you tried checking again.? So needless yo say it was rather disappointing. read more

I'm a very crafty person so I usually go to michaels or hobby lobby for my supplies. I happened to be near this location (as it is not my normal location) so I decided to go here. Bad choice. They were definitely short in staff, which was silly because they had a huge sale going on currently. Only one register open, with huge line forming. Everyone had such large orders so it was taking forever for the one cashier to ring the orders up. She called for backup and no one showed up. Almost walked out, poor management. It wasn't until she called for a backup a second time that one person finally showed up after another 5 or so minutes...finally been waiting about 10-15 minutes in line when I was the next one in line. The lady working the register was older, and clearly needed backup. Michaels please hire more staff to work during busy days and/or large sales like this one. read more

I would give zero stars if that was an option. HORRIBLE customer service! An associate we asked assistance for said she'll just go to the office to get a tagging gun so she can look up the item we were searching for. We waited... and waited... and waited some more. Nope. She never returned. When we were ready to check out an item, it was ringing for a different price than what the display price showed. I asked my daughter to go back to where the item is and she showed the floor associate the display price. After she did, she walked back thinking we are all set. Soon as my daughter turned her back, the associate pocketed the display price and denied ever seeing it! OH MY GOD! If you made a mistake with the price , OWN UP TO IT! Don't make it seem that the customer was imagining things. With this kind of service, sorry to say, but you won't go very far. read more

Went shopping for a frame and every single one I picked up was damaged. I selected about 8 medium sized frames and ended up buying none. They need to check their stock every once in a while. All wood frames were scuffed up. Only giving two stars because the store was big and clean but they really need to get rid of their frames that get damaged. read more

The store should've remained on route 59 in Hoffman Estates. The employees were much friendlier and helpful. The store was always stocked and always busy. Since the move to Schaumburg, I'be seen a huge decline. The employees are rude, always hanging out talking and not social to the customers. The store is never stocked, the last to get new products, and never anyone in the store. read more

I love Michael's but customer service at this location is abysmal. This is the only store I can find everything I need in 5 minutes or less but stand in line for 30 when there's only one customer in front of me. Today as I stood there behind a customer I watched a second cashier walk away and talk to another associate as the line continued to grow. Not only was that ridiculous but the one cashier that was up there acted like she was being inconvenienced by having to do her job. I understand people get stressed around the holidays but its like this every time at this location, the time before that a back up cashier walked away when it was getting busy to make grab bags. If you're trying to be the next Ed Debevic's you're doing a great job, if not maybe work on customer service a bit. read more
