While we were getting all of the billing and shipping info up to date, I had made a remark about wishing I hadn't forgotten my fan. She turned a fan on for me at the register. It was awesome.!! It's not the overstock merchandise you see from large retailers like Amazon. In fact, their business model has been probably around longer than Amazon's mega footprint. We need to keep these mom & pop stores! I needed a a poop bag holder for our dog's leash. They had several to choose from. I didn't expect to find high quality men's skincare products. Their pricing is a fraction of what you'd pay elsewhere. I stocked up! I bought a handful of other things too. These impulse purchases will come in handy. If you see something you want you have to buy it as they won't restock from the back and often it's a one or two of a kind item. Many items are amazon returns and store close outs - some name brand and some unknown or store brands. You often have to read the white tag on the box as they are taped shut. If you want to see something in a box just ask the staff, they generally will open it for you. I get many of my health products there - like antacids, cold/allergy, hair dye, and anti-aging skin care. Cleaning products and every kind of miscellaneous household good that you can imagine - it's there, or it was there last week! Food is a gamble - check the expiration dates. Check the prices online compare before you buy- most are great, but some are not - but that's part of the fun of the hunt at Wesco - finding the deals! Closed on Mondays - limited hours on Sunday.

Unfortunately, our most recent experience was really disappointing. We purchased several items, including three gifts for the same child, and simply asked if they could be gift wrapped together. Instead of just wrapping the gifts or politely explaining the policy, the employee repeatedly insisted that they charge for gift wrapping on items under $10, even though the three gifts we wanted wrapped together totaled well over $50. In total, we spent close to $200 during our visit. The interaction quickly became argumentative and unnecessarily uncomfortable. The owner was present and ultimately wrapped the gifts herself, but rather than helping de-escalate the situation, she allowed the interaction to continue in an unprofessional manner. To make matters worse, when we got home, we realized we'd been charged twice for one of our purchases. I called to have the extra charge reversed, and while they corrected the mistake, I also shared how disappointed I was with our experience in the store. Instead of receiving a sincere apology, I was met with what felt like a dismissive, backhanded response. Mistakes happen, but it's how they're handled that leaves a lasting impression. We genuinely want to continue supporting local businesses like this one, even if it means paying more than shopping at a big-box store.
