Worst service I've ever seen. All of the employees hide. It's all self check-out. No signage for the fabric counter but when you do find it there is no staff there. When you find someone to ask for a staff person to cut the fabric, it takes over 10-15 minutes. Ended up dumping my whole cart and leaving. Will resort to buying everything on Amazon. Even when you try to support these store fronts they ruin it. read more

I had to come over to leave my review today after a wonderful young man by the name of Trey, helped me out i with a drop off I was doing. I recently had surgery and so i have been using crutches and today I was doing a lot that I haven't done since my procedure. I came in and was immediately greeted by him. He helped me instantly. He had chocolate and I commented on how they were my favorite and we got to talking about all the delicious things we enjoyed and about our mothers and their habits that have now been passed to us while we waited for my drop off to process on the handheld. He went to get my info and came back with chocolate and handed it to me. I have to say that, that was so heart warming and sweet. My aunt also passed away this week so I haven't been the happiest but he absolutely made my day, week and month. He restored my faith in humanity and I think it is wonderful that Michael's hires people like him. He needs a raise and I hope corporate has the opportunity to give him the recognition he deserves. It was today 11/26 around 11:40ish. I will now be making Michael's my go to Crafts store. Warm blessing to all the amazing associates here! 2nd trip, he once again was just as amazing! Store manager Raymond was not knowledgeable regarding store items, argumentative when I offered a suggestion and generally unhelpful. I was very frustrated by his inability to listen to what I was trying to say and ultimately made me upset and angry. He is not suited for management position read more

I just spent an hour with Sara in Custom Framing. She was amazing! I brought her some pieces and told her right off the bat I knew I didn't have the money to order right now but wanted to look at options and see what kind of cost I was looking at. She listened to what I wanted and also made suggestions that would not have occurred to me. We spent ages sifting through mats and frames and the results were beautiful; so much prettier than I would have come up with alone. She knew I wasn't going to make a purchase today but she worked with me anyway. She gave me a detailed list of the mat/frame combinations so when I come back all I have to do is hand in the list and order the pieces we selected. I will be going back to her for all my framing needs! read more

I went to Michaels looking for party supplies listed on their web site. They informed me that they did not carry any of the 15 items I wanted in the store and I had to order them. After locating 11 of the items at the local Dollar store, I went on line to order the remaining 4 items from Michaels web site. 2 weeks later, I received one of the items shipped to my PO Box. When I called customer service about the remaining items, I was told they cancelled them because they don't ship to PO Boxes. This was not noted when I placed the order and I did get the one item to that shipping address. I did not receive any notification that the items had been cancelled. They claim they tried to send me an email but it did not go through - funny as I received several emails from them confirming the order and shipping. So now, 2 weeks after placing the order and 2 days before my grandson's birthday, I find that I will not get the items he picked on for his party. I will never shop at Michaels again and I caution others to consider this before placing orders. read more

There are a few somewhat nice workers here however management is cranky and very rude. Prices and signage are both usually wrong. I had stopped going to this location for about a year and decided to give them another chance today. BIG MISTAKE! Still rude! Still unorganized! They had "take an additional 70% off the lowest ticketed price" papers taped all over the rear clearance section. I decided to stock up and get a few extra things because of the great prices. None of those items rang up at any discount and the cashier got very snippy about it when I mentioned where I got the items. She immediately said "no! They are not 70% off, they are UP TO 70% off" (she couldn't actually explain how to determine the percentage and just kept pointing at the clearance sticker, although no % came off AT ALL) and then had the manager bring a sign up to me. It was a completely different sign! They couldn't even explain their own sale when I asked how I figure out what the discount is. The staff in the isles were unpleasant as well. I'm done, there are so many other options for me when shopping for these things. read more
