Each location has the same bunch of overflowing aisles, overwhelming the senses with excited women and teenagers desperately searching for that special something. If they can't find that something special they'll just settle for anything, because by entering a Hobby Lobby they've already agreed to the unspoken rule requiring they buy something while their tag along husbands and boyfriends wear the same bored or exasperated looks. Hobby Lobby will have what you need if you go there. Because if you think you need something from Hobby Lobby then you already know they will have it. I swear it's a requirement when they're hiring people that they need to be rude.

They also mentioned that we could bring our own drinks, which sounded great, but I wouldn't recommend it for the wheel-throwing class. We didn't open our wine as no cups were provided but there was also no time during the class to drink it. That said, our instructor, Callum, was amazing! Truly hands-on, patient, and made sure everyone left with a piece they were proud of, whether they chose to keep it or not. One thing to note: I wouldn't recommend this specific class for out-of-towners. If you want to keep your piece, the process takes about a month. First firing, then returning to paint, then a second firing. You also pay separately for any pieces you choose to keep and paint. Our class was $35 per person, and it's $20 per piece for firing if you plan to come back and paint it. It's a commitment, but also two fun experiences if you're local or don't mind returning. Overall, I'm taking off one star due to our specific experience with their wheel throwing activity, but I still think the concept of this place is great, and I look forward to coming back to paint my piece as well as to try a different activity!

Plus every other week their yearn is 30% off so I made sure to come the correct week. Even though their prices have gone up, that still drops to an affordable amount. The aisles were nice and clean. The employees are not always the friendliest although some are. But they are always available to help you find what you are looking for. I found a cute pair of lavender shorts but there was no place to try them on so I went ahead and bought them in the size I thought would fit and brought them home to try, knowing I could take them back if they didn't fit and try another size. I asked about the return policy and the girl told me you have 60 days with the receipt and 90 days without a receipt. I thought that was more than generous. I'm sure I will be back.

WE had a BLAST Paul our instructor was great and explained step by step during the whole process and answered questions along the way, the finished product was Amazing we are planning on attending some of the other classes as they do a variety of others. FYI we used one secret ingredient that I'm not going to say but Wow, so go sign up for a class and sure you'll have just as much fun as we did this morning. They also have date night classes for couples that would be fun to do.

We made chicken piccata and when I say the experience was world class I truly mean it. There were 10 people in our class and it really gave us an intimate feel. Chef Paul and his family were so friendly and really welcomed you as a member of their family. A truly touching moment was at the end of class when we were plating our meals. The china some of us used was actually from his parents wedding!!!! We will be back for many many more classes and hope to meet you all there too!
