Kids grow FAST. Especially mine because how are we needing new clothes again? My husband had visited this place before to sell my son's summer clothes and we got a good amount in return. We visited on Saturday morning, and although the store wasn't very big, they had plenty of items. Everything was VERY well organized by gender and age. They also had all the upcoming holiday outfits displayed for easier buying. We found a good amount of sets for the impending summer for about $75. The checkout was fairly fast as well, and we were out of there. Take note though: they are a bagless store, so make sure you bring in your bags if you don't do that already! read more

Many of their "gems" sell for $10-$15 in-store, so I could easily see getting $2-$3 per item myself. I found so many options for clothing that were gently used and in very good condition.. and it won't break the bank either. Plus, you can find items like strollers, pack-n-plays, car seats, other seat options, toys, books, and so much more. They even have gently used shoes in excellent condition. The staff takes great car to make sure your experience is worth it. They really do care about me as a customer. What more could you ask for with kids growing up so fast. I came back to pickup the clothes I requested them to hold since they didn't not want to buy them. I planned to hang on to any and all clothes they chose not to purchase from me 1- for sentimental value (baby girls clothes) & 2- to pass down to my sister & niece ALL my clothes are gone. They told me they "never do donations anymore" but when I asked for my clothes they said "we donated them". I asked the worker if he saw the note on them saying call first (because I was there when the worker added the note to my donations) and he said he did recall seeing the note but they got "donated" ... aka thrown away.. anyways. I'm devastated. These weren't their property to throw away and I was assured I could come pick them up -- both in person and over the phone when they gave me the quote of how much they were offering for what they did want. I agreed and said I will come get my clothing... yet ALL of my baby girls sentimental newborn clothes are gone with no remorse or reimbursement. It honestly feels illegal. They are my property not theirs to throw away like trash. I didn't agree to having them "donated" & they lied to me without calling or reimbursement for the loss. Just because it wasn't worth selling doesn't mean it should be thrown away when the owner specifically said they are picking it up. Makes 0 sense maybe with more training or better communication this could have been avoided. Idk I'm so sad even asked what Goodwill to go hunting for them and they essentially said it was trashed how is that okay??? read more

I typically have a pretty good experience selling here in regard to taking my items. I think they give more for your items than Once Upon a Child. The staff is nice. The only thing I do not love is that they make you stay in store to sell. You do have the option to leave but you will get pushed back with in store buys. If you get pushed back to the next day you will forfeit your right to refuse the buy. So staying in store is your best bet. Can be hard with little kiddos but the staff seems to be okay with them playing with all the toys. read more

Went to take a bunch of stuff here for the first time, drove out of my way and called ahead of time to confirm what they were taking. I get there and they are only giving store credit, no cash. My son is too old for what they offer so ended up giving away a bunch of brand new games, books, shoes to a lady walking out the same time I did. Too far of a drive to go back. This Kid to Kid isn't very big but offers great prices and discounts. I found this Kid to Kid offers more premium brands than the OAUC in the area. I think they are selective on what items they choose and therefore the payout for consigning is a little better than OAUC. Their payout consignment system also allows you to shop the same day and not pay tax on the items when consigning. I think that's pretty neat. Staff are friendly. Store is easy to navigate around. Bathrooms were clean. Prices on items are very fair. I would definitely recommend Kid to Kid. read more

Just stopped by at the Gilbert location. It was so well sorted not wild or overfilled like other locations. Checking out was fast and super friendly and actually spoke to you. Used to love this store. Unfortunately everything is really outdated. Almost if the clothes are really old, you can tell by the tags. The prices are okay however I don't know why you'd spend $5.99 on a shirt from a children's place that's years old. It's like they had years of back stock they're just putting out now. Unfortunate. My daughter had been gifted a TON of designer clothing from a dear friend of ours who was a business owner in Austin, TX. She had outgrown them and thought that second hand stores would be stoked to have such unique (freaking adorable) pieces. Due to their policies (understandably), Once Upon a Child did not feel comfortable accepting an unknown brand from a small business (who had to close their doors due to COVID). But KTK saw past this and was more than happy to accept the majority of our daughters designer clothing. The gals up front were super friendly and expressed how cute these well-made pieces were. I am grateful I decided to make the drive and sell to KTK. Plus, my daughter LOVED it in there and wanted to go back and 'play at the store!' Thanks y'all!
