I needed a key for an older vehicle and there are few real locksmiths active in my area. I drove 36 minutes to find this location and met a great man who was in business for over 30 years. There was no need to schedule an appointment, they arrived at my new house at 2:30pm the same day. Technician was very quick to get all needed locks re-keyed. After visiting a couple of big box hardware stores and calling several local key & lock businesses, I was still unable to find a local retailer who had the correct template for one of the 3 car keys. Had 2 Weslock lever locks installed less than 2 years ago. One never really worked properly and and was installed incorrectly. He had ordered the wrong lever and put it in anyway. We own a small safe that suddenly refused to open after years of good service. Steve suggested that we bring it in, which we did the next day. I was referred to 1st quality lock and key by my friend Jennifer yesterday morning when after I dropped my daughter off at school and got home my door would not unlock even with a key, no matter what i did i couldnt open the door and get inside and i needed to be at work. I was frantic and my apts didnt consider my situation to be an emergency, so Jennifer told me about 1st quality lock and key and I called them in tears and told him my unfortunate situation, within 30 minutes one of their men were at my door and immediatly got to work.Well come to find out a pin had dropped in my lock cylinder and had to be drilled out, he knew i had to be at work so within 20 minutes of showing up I was shaking his hand from the inside of my apt, thanking him for saving me in my sticky situation...and to top it all off at a reasonable price.
