Definitely an A+ company. Called them on Tuesday and Chase was able to show up same day. He even drove from the DFW area out to East Texas. The service is outstanding! Thanks so much, Chase. Lisa Miller read more

Absolutely horrible company. 1 week After replacing a key fob for me, the fob completely stopped working. When I requested that they fix the issue they told me the warranty only covers 3 days after the replacement and that I will have to pay a service fee to have it fixed. The customer service at this place is horrific. Due not recommend at all. Will be filing a complaint with the BBB AND SHARING THIS REVIEW ACROSS ALL PLATFORMS!!! read more

Tanner did a great job. Had issue with car not recognizing the key phob code. He had to come back due to there being a problem with the key phob! He came back right away and helped me with a new key Phob! thank you Tanner! read more

I lost both keys for Lexus technician able to create new keys and configure it for me

extremely poor Customer Service. Locked outside my house freezing cold weather locksmith had to come from an hour away who proceeded to get lost, who the hell gets lost in this day and age? Repeatedly called SureLock for updates only to be either hung up on or given the runaround. I wouldn't use this service if they were free. read more

bought fob 06/2025. battery going bad. doesn't react. told need new battery. called three locations and told me they have no technicians in my area. But they sure had someone able to come and make me one. per toyota i should be able to pop off the back (like the Toyota fobs) cant pop off the backside. then told that no warranty since its a few months old. rally after a few months its not supposed to work? Avoid this company. If I would have did better research the Toyota fob is around $350.00. sure lock and key was $400.00 and now its not working very well. read more

Despite my doubts, they were able to make a 2013 Prius key that everyone said was a dealer-only situation. Good service, except for one of the receptionists. After I called back, smooth sailing. Tech had good communication, excellent service (despite the pouring rain and my dead battery) and knew their job well. read more

Was a bit taken aback when they guy asked for a tip??? I just paid over 350.00 which included a 65.00 trip fee so why on earth should I pay a tip? This is ridiculous and terrible customer service. Additionally, I was originally told there was a 3 month warranty on the new key fobs, but subsequently told there was only a 3 DAY warranty. Had I known, I would have looked for a local business to give my money to. read more

David and Jeff came by and on my lunch break and they were able to make me a new electronic key. Professional, quick and good value. Also had some good conversation with the two of them. 10/10 will be recommending them to my friends and family. read more

I called to have them to open a door for us. First of all they would not quote a price. I then canceled the order. That would have left us open for price gouging. They then repeatedly called me x 4. I repeatedly said no. I then stated to them that they would be contacted by someone with authority if not more if they didn't stop harassing us. I would not recall these squirrels to anyone to Evan get near my home or anyone else's home. Very squirrely individuals. read more

Seeing all the positive reviews, I decided to give these guys a try, but it was severely disappointing. I filled out their Contact Us survey on their website, expecting a call back. I never got one. I called a few days later, hoping to get a price quote and time estimate. All I got was a woman on the line saying it'll be $29 just for them to come and LOOK plus whatever the cost is to get the job done. Seriously?! I asked if a locksmith could call me back so that we can figure out specifics (price, time, etc.) and she said she'll have someone return my call right away. That never happened. I'm sure these guys are great since they have many positive reviews, but how do they expect to keep getting any feedback if they never return contact attempts from potential customers? read more

On time, great communication and fair. Glad to have a business I can trust and call on when I need a key. Mobile service too! Matt was my locksmith for the McKinney area. read more

Sure Lock & Key - Made me a key for my Ford Escape 2018 - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - McKinney, Texas

Frank is quick and knowledgeable and does a good job. Was able to provide what we needed ASAP.

We hired these people to change 3 doorknobs. We could not get the strike plates to fit correctly. Their arrogant and rude technician came and put in our doorknobs and left 2 strike plates out because he did not know how to put them in! One doorknob was easy to install, so the strike plate screwed in without any issue. He said to use the other doors without the strike plates. Who does that?! I asked for a refund through customer service and I spoke to the arrogant technician again. No luck. They did not complete the job they were hired for. I can change doorknobs on my own, but I just needed someone to help with the chiseling for the strike plates. In the end, I hired someone else to do the job. These people charged me over $300 for 15 min of work that wasn't done properly. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! read more

If I could give this no stars I would this place is a scam they charge me $400 just to open up my car door the it took The guy two hours to even get here and then he didn't even tell me the full price until after he opened up my car door and then trying to reach management and everything they always tell me, oh just send an email but it is nothing but a scam I do not recommend this place avoid it like the plague. read more

In a rush I accidentally put the wrong car keys in the ignition, it went in but wouldn't come out. I happened to be blocking my other car in the driveway so I was stuck. Road side assistance wouldn't help, and The Right Choice was my 3rd call to a locksmith. And yes, it was the right choice. David was able to come out quickly, gave me an estimate and was able to remove the key, and make a new key. I am planning on having them install keypad locks on my house doors as well, since they are a full service real locksmith! read more

Had to call on a holiday to get a door rekeyed. The owner was quick to respond. The technician Nancy was able to get out two hours earlier than told. She did a fantastic job and rekeyed to match our other locks. After the service was done we even had a follow up call to check on the service and make sure we were happy from the owner. Great customer service, quick and reliable. Will definitely use again in the future! read more

I needed to change the locks on my doors and called "The Right Choice Locksmith" and David (Owner) answered...He said he could be at my home in approx. 30 minutes and showed up right on time. He is so friendly, professional and very helpful with advice on saving ME money...I wanted a keypad for my front door and he installed it and changed four locks in no time at a VERY REASONABLE price. I inquired too, if he made vehicle keys...and he does! What would have easily cost me $450-500. at the dealership he made for me for a fraction of the cost...and I mean FRACTION! Plus...NO LONG WAIT TIME at the dealership! I have automatic start etc. on my vehicle and he made a keypad exactly like my Buick manf. keypad...so now I have 3 keypads for me car and will have one to carry in my purse, should I jump out of my car and forget my keys! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND "The Right Choice Locksmith!"...it was sure "The Right Choice" for me! I especially love my new front door keypad...so easy to use! read more
