Absolutely horrible company. 1 week After replacing a key fob for me, the fob completely stopped working. When I requested that they fix the issue they told me the warranty only covers 3 days after the replacement and that I will have to pay a service fee to have it fixed. bought fob 06/2025. battery going bad. doesn't react. told need new battery. called three locations and told me they have no technicians in my area. But they sure had someone able to come and make me one. per toyota i should be able to pop off the back (like the Toyota fobs) cant pop off the backside. then told that no warranty since its a few months old. rally after a few months its not supposed to work? Was a bit taken aback when they guy asked for a tip??? I just paid over 350.00 which included a 65.00 trip fee so why on earth should I pay a tip? This is ridiculous and terrible customer service. Additionally, I was originally told there was a 3 month warranty on the new key fobs, but subsequently told there was only a 3 DAY warranty. I called to have them to open a door for us. First of all they would not quote a price. I then canceled the order. That would have left us open for price gouging. They then repeatedly called me x 4. I repeatedly said no. I then stated to them that they would be contacted by someone with authority if not more if they didn't stop harassing us. Seeing all the positive reviews, I decided to give these guys a try, but it was severely disappointing. I filled out their Contact Us survey on their website, expecting a call back. I never got one. I called a few days later, hoping to get a price quote and time estimate. All I got was a woman on the line saying it'll be $29 just for them to come and LOOK plus whatever the cost is to get the job done. Seriously?! I asked if a locksmith could call me back so that we can figure out specifics (price, time, etc.) and she said she'll have someone return my call right away. That never happened. Sure Lock & Key - Made me a key for my Ford Escape 2018 - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - McKinney, Texas

We hired these people to change 3 doorknobs. We could not get the strike plates to fit correctly. Their arrogant and rude technician came and put in our doorknobs and left 2 strike plates out because he did not know how to put them in! One doorknob was easy to install, so the strike plate screwed in without any issue. He said to use the other doors without the strike plates. Who does that?! I asked for a refund through customer service and I spoke to the arrogant technician again. No luck. They did not complete the job they were hired for. I can change doorknobs on my own, but I just needed someone to help with the chiseling for the strike plates. In the end, I hired someone else to do the job. These people charged me over $300 for 15 min of work that wasn't done properly. PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! read more

In a rush I accidentally put the wrong car keys in the ignition, it went in but wouldn't come out. I happened to be blocking my other car in the driveway so I was stuck. Road side assistance wouldn't help, and The Right Choice was my 3rd call to a locksmith. And yes, it was the right choice. David was able to come out quickly, gave me an estimate and was able to remove the key, and make a new key. I needed to change the locks on my doors and called "The Right Choice Locksmith" and David (Owner) answered...He said he could be at my home in approx. 30 minutes and showed up right on time. He is so friendly, professional and very helpful with advice on saving ME money...I wanted a keypad for my front door and he installed it and changed four locks in no time at a VERY REASONABLE price. I inquired too, if he made vehicle keys...and he does! What would have easily cost me $450-500. at the dealership he made for me for a fraction of the cost...and I mean FRACTION!
