I ended up with a slice of salted chocolate caramel cake, which came with extra salted caramel, and it was delicious! I couldn't eat it all so it was nice to have the rest of the piece later at home. My friend got one of the Shindigz cookies and raved about it. She said it was one of the best cookies she's ever had. They have indoor and outdoor seating and as today was a nice day, we sat outside in a little garden area that had fountains and was very nice. If you have a sweet tooth and a hankering for something delicious, Shindigz is the place to go!

They did add little pickles and the presentation was pretty enough, but no flowers like the owner posted photo on here. The meat was pretty thick which could be a positive or negative depending on personal preference, and the meat was decent quality. The fig jam was very good. The waitress who was helping the other tables had brought my food out but didn't check on me at all. I had to go up to the counter again to order a cinnamon roll ($8) and a coffee ($5) which she brought out to me. The coffee was nice and dark (Cameo blend) and incredibly hot. The cinnamon roll was okay, not very much cinnamon flavor but it was delicate and the icing was decent. The interior was pretty and it was a good spot to read a book and spend a morning.

I don't know how to describe it accurately but it was just a weird mess of a pastry that didn't satisfy. We agreed to do a bakery crawl after the sad experience because it left us underwhelmed. We recall a line out the door when they first opened their larger location and now there's just a trickle of folks on a Sunday morning. Maybe the word is out and we're just catching up on the news.
