Review 83 If you don't know what or who Michael Kors is, you seriously don't fashion! You can find their product at every department store, outlet and the less desirable internet (if you want to buy a fake). I came into this store looking for a mens slim wallet, they just had a the week before and sold out. The staff were so helpful and ordered me a wallet and shipped it for free to my home. They also honored the sale price that had finished the week before! I'm very happy with my new wallet that still lives in its box (no comment). On my way out I saw an awesome female leather jacket that would pair up perfectly with mine. :D ... Question is ... who likes MK? Plan B I only submit 5-Star reviews, if I post a review it's cause 'hat's off" I recommend the establishment and will return for another experience. I don't feel the need to submit a review with less than 5-Stars, regardless if I check in, submit a picture or tip. Michael Kors is my new line of which I am choosing to deck myself out with from watches to handbags and jackets to shoes...I didn't realize Mr. Kors could almost have my heart until I noticed I gave him a lot of my wallet LOL. This particular store is not one that I choose to shop in, simply because I am a shopping experience type of person. This mall is a conveniently located with great store selection but there is definitely no ambiance... Back to the store, I came in with my boyfriend to exchange or fix a rose gold buckle bangle he bought me for Christmas and within 120 seconds the transaction was complete and we were headed to Tumi.The customer service here is warm, friendly and personable. So for time convenience, location, selection (which IS great btw) and a friendly staff...I give a total 5 stars! read more

Let's start by saying this review isn't for this particular store, but over all Michael Kors! Their products have gone down hill for a long time yet I still find my self purchasing shoe after shoe and bag after bag. I just bought a pair of shoes Saturday 10-15-2016, and wore them today for about 10 minutes I kid you NOT! as I am walking into my office I look down because my shoe felt loose and it completely separated at the seem of the shoe on the top! CRAZY right. I have called around to Michael Kors near me and even their 800 Number and no one will try and assist me to exchange the damn shoe without the box or receipt but I have my bank statement that I just bought them!!! and I have the box here with me at work. Now I am stranded at work with no shoes and mind you I wear suits to work! SHAME on you Michal KORS you have officially lost my business and trust me I have over 50 pairs of MK shoes and 10 bags with wallets, Watches and wristlets.. I will keep my Business with Tory Burch and Sam Edelman's at least they stand behind their products but they don't need to because they stuff doesn't fall apart! I would expect this type of thing to happen if I were to buy Target shoes or something but hey their product is every better than yours now a days. Let me tell you about two experiences I've had. One day I'm getting off work wearing heels and having a very classy, sophisticated look. I get greeted and told if I need any help to just let them know. I came in just to browse that day. Another day I'm dressed very casual in sneakers and jeans. They see me walk into the store, but don't say a single word to me. I actually wanted to know more information about their wallets. I decided to just leave and not even shop around. Based on my experiences, the employees are very judgmental and selective of who they want to help. This is not something I'm very fond of. They did the same thing to another young lady i met recently who told me of her experience, which was very similar to my "casual day" experience. She said she just left too. Michael Kors employees, stop being so judgmental. No one likes that. read more

I can totally relate to the negative experiences from other Yelpers here. I had a similar experience last year, on an exchange with a receipt which was not even 24 hours old from the Valencia location. The Valencia store manager had to get involved I knew what the girl at Sherman Oaks (dark long hair, medium tone skin, stupid face) was doing was against store policy, she argued with the manager and the manager gave her orders she tried lying to me but in the end it was only fair and such a simple transaction. Valencia manager apologized and told me what she needed and was going to do, and assure me he would speak with her manager regarding her conduct and refusal to follow store policy. It's the Worst Michael Kors store ever, I hope the headquarters were able to resolve other yelpers issues. I stopped in yesterday and noticed the same girl and manager still work there and they still have very bad attitudes. Never going back to the Sherman oaks MK store. MK corporate needs to have secret undercover shoppers assessed the store and make the necessary changes. read more

Was in there earlier tonight to exchange a purse I bought as a gift, turns out I was given TOTALLY wrong information by a new employee a week ago regarding the exchange, but the girl working there (I assume a manager or supervisor?) completely took care of it when she easily could have made it really difficult. Good for her. Good service, mistakes happen at any business, especially with new employees, the way you handle those mistakes is what counts. Two thumbs up. read more

Bought a purse here on sale and a few days later, decided I wanted to exchange it. Called the store in advance to make sure its a smooth process (got 2 babies, no time to dilly dally) and they said that sale items were final sale. I've bought quite a few things from MK online and familiar with they return policy- so I was a bit surprised when they said they wouldn't take it back. Called the Glendale store and they were happy to exchange it as long as I had a receipt & original tags, which I did. Went in and their service was far superior. So I Visited This Location More Then Once, But After A Quick Stop Inside The Guess Store (I Could Not Help Myself) I Continued On To Michael Kors Which Is The Store I Went There For. I Had Purchased A Mini Jet Set Satchel Online And Simply Wanted To Have Them Authentic The Bag As Well As Purchase A Matching Wallet & Check Out The New Line Of Watches With The Color Faces (I'm In LOVE). It Was A Casual Day Cute Top, Leggings, Jordans Nothing Major, Upon Entering I Was Ignored So I Stopped To View The Wallet I Know I Wanted, And Then Viewed The Watch Case. At This Point I Have Still Not Been Greeted & Mind You It's Not A Large Store And There Was Only One Other Customer In The Store Looking Around. So I Approached The Counter And Asked If I Could Have My Recent Online Purchase Checked And If I Could Purchase The Wallet & Try On A Watch To Choose Which One I Wanted. The Girl At The Counter Told Me They Don't Check Bags But She Would Ask Her Manager, Once Her Manager Came Out The Back She Asked And Without Even Looking At Me Or Any Eye Contact She Simply States With Attitude "I Guess I Can Look At It", Then Tells The Girl At The Counter To Give Me The Michael Kors Email I Can Send Them Pictures And They Can Look At It. ALL Without Me Saying Anything, I Was Polite, Gave No Attitude And Was Not Difficult. Mind You The Fact That I Stated I Wanted To Purchase 2 Items Was Completely Over Looked And The Experience Was BS. I Have Purchased A Number Of Michael Kors Items And Don't Appreciate Being Judged Because I Like My Jordans. Awful customer service! They do know that they may work at a Michaels Kors, but it's still located AT A MALL? Well someone might want to tell the people working there that they are working stiffs just like those working at Foot Locker! I purchased a purse & they literally wrapped the one on display for me. Now in my past experience with Michael Kors & even Coach, they would always leave the display product just that a display product. They would go to the back & get a new one. I asked her about it & she said they NEVER do that. I explained to her my experience, she nodded no & didn't bother to speak to me again for the rest of the transaction. I didn't realize Michael Kors started hiring elementary school aged people because that's the behavior she was displaying!! I should have just passed on the purse, but liked it too much. How hard is it to be nice to your customers?? We are not asking them to pay for the items we are buying, yet they behave like we are such an inconvenience. This is the first & last time that I will be going to this location. I'm sure it won't hurt the store, but word of mouth is much more destructive than writing how awful this location in social media. I'm a new hire to Michael Kors as a Stylist, and am absolutely loving the company. I was primarily trained in the Sherman Oaks location by Chanel (store manager) Kim (sales sup), and Marlene (sales sup & visual) within the store. The passion that these women displayed was incredible, and because of them I have such a passion for the company! I have had several different jobs, and I have never had such great training. All of them were extremely approachable, and whenever I had a question they would give me the most educated answer while setting me up for success! They were kind, encouraging, strong, and perfect displays of what Michael Kors representatives should be. I now work at the brand new Century City location, and have these women to thank for equipping me with excellence and giving me a well rounded expertise in product knowledge. Because there approachability, coaching, and encouragement, I desire to bleed that onto others within the company who are new hires. It's nice when you feel like people are there to encourage you, rather than just spectate! Thank you ladies for all your hard work and dedication! I had an unusual experience at this store but they recovered so beautifully. Specifically Veronica. She handled everything with such amazing professionalism and kindness. So here is the story... About 5 days ago I went to the store looking for a pair of shoes to match my purse. She can help me out found the shoes very quickly and we want to go ring up my shoes and my credit card declined. That was very unusual but I had just finished travelling from the other side of the country so maybe it was my card declining. But then I used my debit which I didn't use at all in my travels so I didn't expect that to decline but it did. Having worked with credit card machines like that I realized, or at least I had the hunch, that it had something to do with the system itself. Long story short it was the system and 5 days later I receive a call that the system for the credit cards are finally back up. So I go pick up my shoes and Veronica compensated me with a little gift for being patient with them. I never asked for it nor did I expect it but I'm so glad that I got it because it shows how much she cared. I definitely recommend this store not just for the stuff itself but for the customer service. You will be taken care of here. Thank you Veronica! I had an exchange that I needed to do and Veronica helped me and made the transaction a smooth sailing. Rami and Veronica was so helpful with assisting me in finding the correct shoes. I am very indecisive and tried on several pair of shoes. They were patient and kind, showed me several shoes and gave me advice on which shoes looked nice.
