As I was getting ready to pay, the arrogant manager, Veronica, felt it was necessary to say that "If your Apple pay gets declined, we can only run it once" I responded firmly by asking "why would it get declined?" This sort of backwards and inappropriate behavior shocked me because Cartier assumed my payment method would have been declined perhaps because I was being profiled due to my initial apprehension of giving my personal information to Cartier when transacting. I felt violated with the number of personal questions they ask. Next, they didn't offer me to inspect or verify the item I bought before they gift wrapped it. I had to bring my ring in for resizing multiple times, as they kept incorrectly fitting me. The Love Wedding Band scratches CONSTANTLY due to the softness of the gold they use, and because of this, my ring "wasn't eligible for return" despite me owning it for only a few short months. A product this expensive should have a more graceful return window, be properly sized the first time, and NOT be painful to wear (seriously this ring is so uncomfortable!). I wasted a substantial amount of money on my first, and definitely last, Cartier purchase. But after reading some articles online: with the price increase, an increase of sales, and turn around time is taking much longer then usual, I didn' think I was going to leave with one. I stopped by just to get my watch looked at and checked if I installed the watch band correctly. With the pandemic commotion going on, the fact that I had no appointment and it was 10 mins to closing.. I was shocked that someone was actually willing to help me. (Especially when they were turning away people with no appointments!) the security guard talked to one the senior reps.. I saw him explaining to the rep about the question I had for my watchband. I have been coming to this Cartier location for the last 14 years but wearing a mask, sunglasses and my hair grown out, even my own rep didn't recognize me. Lol It's been 6 years since I last saw Julai. If I am not mistaken, Julai has been in this location for as long as I have been coming here. For someone to be employed this long in a place where you see employees come and go, tells you a whole lot about the employee.. YAAAAS!!! Julai is the sh*t and she is the best at what she does. Okay so I would like to update my review from the previous one star I gave Cartier. The manager from the store called and apologize and said he wanted to make this right. I told him I do not want to drive that far again due to going there twice and gotten no help. He was very sincere I've the phone and sent me a package to send in my love bracelet from home. I sent it in and got a email from customer care describing the work that needs to get done. I called them and let them know the situation and cleaned my bracelet practically looking brand new for free and fixed the problem. I'm hoping it was just one bad experience and never happen again that's why I gave them the 5 star for fixing the issue . I have been to 3 Cartier stores already and got no luck in any. I think Cartier would be better doing sales online so that the SA's don't have to interact with people. I really don't understand why most of the SA's can't handle the job that they are supposed to do. Where is customer service nowadays? Almost the same common problem: stereotyping, pushy SA's, looking down at people.... The people who entered your store are the ones who really have interest in buying. The moment you showed them any disrespect is the the same time you are letting the people's interest down. If you don't have any appointment, expect to be just in this store being passed by as if you are not physically in store. Infact you will have to get their attention to help you.
