I like coming to this lot because you can get groceries at Marina, pastries at sheng kee, and boba here. We don't often get the food here, but did on this visit. I had the three cup chicken bento and my partner had the braised pork rice bowl. I thought it was good and enjoyed the ouster mushrooms. Flavorful, tea was good too. I shop at Marina Food all the time, so I wanted to stop by and check this place out. Mushrooms are my favorite thing, so when I saw them on the menu, I had to ask if they were vegan. The person at the counter confirmed they were, so I grabbed some spicy fried mushrooms and a mango lychee green tea with 50% sweetness to go. The tea was pretty good. I took a bite of the mushroom, and it was so good. I put a second piece in my mouth and noticed something was off; it was chicken. I spit it out before swallowing but did bite into it. I realize this place isn't fully vegan, but if they confirm something is vegan, adding chicken to the box is unacceptable. I could've been more careful about what I was eating, but I was driving home and had already confirmed it was vegan, so I didn't feel like I needed to be extra cautious. That said, the mushroom was really good, and they definitely got the spicy flavor right. This was the first time I buy at this shop. At 11:30am on a Saturday, there was just one table of customers, not very busy. I ordered their 'signature' pork chop crunch wrap to go. I waited for about 5 to 7 mins, the food was ready. I was going to enjoy while I was watching a match. After I took a few bites, I realize the wrap was luncheon meat instead of friend pork chop. There were hardly any sauce in it, making that very dry. I checked my receipt, it clearly said friend pork chop crunch wrap. For $13.54 (incl tax), a banh mi would be a better choice. I found this hidden gem when I went to Target. It is across the street from Target on Stevens Creek in back of Bank of America. A little hard to find but worth it! I had the chicken bento box (without rice) and it was very flavorful! It included taiwanese cabbage and bok choy. It also had an egg. All were cooked perfectly. The portion size was worth the price! There's a deep nostalgia tied to this little corner spot next to Marina in Cupertino. Years ago, it used to be a lively stop under the Tapioca Express or Quickly banner (or maybe both at different times), offering the classic Taiwanese boba pearl milk tea. Back then, it was a vibrant hub--young students would flock in after school, and during weekdays, it would buzz with professionals grabbing lunch or a to-go drink during their noon breaks. The shelves were filled with manga comics and weekly Asian magazines showcasing pop stars and celebrities. You could feel the pulse of Taiwanese youth culture in every sip and every bite. Since then, the location has gone through several transformations--franchise changes, COVID-era restrictions converting it into a to-go-only venue, and most recently, two name changes in what feels like just a short span of time. Today, it goes by the name "Mia"--which caught my attention for obvious reasons--but sadly, it's not the same Mia I was hoping for. A couple of days ago, my wife suggested we give the place a try during their soft opening. I hesitated. Something about the recent remodel and the lack of activity inside gave me a strange gut feeling. There were no patrons dining in, and only a sparse trickle of people ordering drinks to-go. Still, we ordered some classic Taiwanese dishes for lunch: the Pork Chop Bento, Taiwanese Sausage Bento, and the quintessential Taiwanese Braised Pork Minced Over Rice Bowl. We also got a couple of milk tea drinks--one with boba, one without. Unfortunately, the experience didn't meet even modest expectations. The bentos were underwhelming. While the rice was passable, the amount of oil and grease in the sauce overwhelmed the rest of the components. Most notably, the Braised Pork Rice Bowl was practically inedible--the pork was drenched in oil, and more than half of the bowl was a pool of grease. The rice wasn't just soaked--it was swimming. As for the milk tea, it was bland and diluted. Without ice, the lack of flavor stood out even more. It tasted more like lightly colored water than anything resembling tea. No fragrance, no richness, and certainly none of the signature depth that defines good Taiwanese milk tea. It saddened me. Not because of the meal itself, but because of what this location once represented--energy, community, and authentic quick eats with character. Now, it feels like a shell of its former self. I genuinely hope the team behind Mia takes this feedback in stride. The Cupertino area has many established Taiwanese eateries and boba spots, and if Mia wants to stay in the game, they'll need to step up--starting with the quality of their food and drinks. This location has history. It deserves better. read more

It depends on what were you looking for. We ordered grilled Taiwan sausage 烤香腸 and Popcorn Chicken 鹽酥雞. Two of the offerings that all Taiwanese places must do well. And they did not disappoint, although not head and shoulder above either. To be fair, it is quite hard to be distinguished on these two. We had their Braised Pork Rice bowl 滷肉飯 from a different venue and thought it was passable. Again, it is difficult to excel in this category. Overall, I won't mind ordering snack or light meal from here and won't be disappointed. I don't do Boba frequently. Can't judge that. read more

This mr green bubble is one of the best compared to the other green bubble locations! Super clean and friendly. I love that they have the option for less boba for $0.25 rather than regular serving boba for $0.50 because I don't like too much boba in my drink. A little slice of Taiwan right here in the South Bay! Easy ordering on one of the two large kiosks. Great selection of fruit and milk teas. A nice selection of food items for a light meal. We like the popcorn chicken, pork chop (cutlet), chinese sausage and the unagi in a bento style combo. You can also order some items a la carte; I recommend their crispy tofu. The interior is decorated seasonally and pretty much like you'd see in Taiwan and there is a cozy cafe vibe with 2-3 tables inside and window bar seating, along with a handful of tables outdoors. Service is prompt and timely. I appreciate that every time the employees are diligent about filling orders (working) efficiently. read more

Ever since I took my friend here to try the popcorn chicken, he has been addicted to it. I do agree, their popcorn chicken is above and beyond and they load a lot into the box which is a huge plus in my book! I still have yet to find a drink that I really like at Mr. Green Bubble but hopefully once I keep on trying more and more drinks, I'll find something that I really like. So far I like the mango smoothie. The staff is very friendly and they have been very warm every single time I've been here. I've gone about three times now and the popcorn chicken has been consistently really good. I love the simple ordering process which can be done on the kiosk or at the cash register. I'm quite surprised that there's not that many reviews for the store but I think once more people find out about the popcorn chicken, they will absolutely love it. i went in with low expectations and left with them even lower. i ordered the Mango Blaze because it looked fun (see pic attached) and I wanted to try tajin + chamoy after watching all those tiktoks (note: it was my first time trying tajin + chamoy). i quickly came to the conclusion i don't like tajin + chamoy. it wasn't very spicy, but it was SO salty it overpowered everything else. it felt like i was drinking salsa and all i was missing was the chips. it felt like a punishment drink you'd drink when you lose a game. it was the first time in my life i couldnt finish a drink and ended up throwing it away after sipping 1/8th of it ): it was my fault for thinking id like tajin + chamoy, so i went back for redemption. this time i ordered the Honeydew Milk Tea w boba and my coworker got the Okinawa Milk Tea w boba (the one that looks like brown sugar boba that you get from Tiger Sugar and such). they ran out of boba when i got there and the guy at the cashier was kind and asked me if i wanted to wait 10min or if i wanted to change toppings or get a refund, but i decided to give them a chance and wait so i could try the boba fresh! ...it was not worth the wait. my drink reminded me of the gum, Double Bubble, where the flavor lasts 2 seconds and then you get a funky aftertaste. it had a very artificial flavor (which was fine), but it was almost impressive how tasteless the "honey" boba was. the worker said they gave me extra boba for waiting, but i personally couldnt tell so if they did then thats nice of them! i also tried my coworkers drink and it tasted like it was just black tea with no milk added. strange considering the drink had the word "milk" in it. overall, the service was good but the drinks i tried were not good read more

Drinks are pretty pricey and while they're decent, is a bit more than I'd like to pay when there are so many options in the area. However, their snacks are pretty fair though. They have sweet desserts like mochi waffles and egg puffs, but also some savory ones. I haven't tried the savory ones, but the egg puffs are pretty good, and the mochi waffles were a favorite of mine. I tried both the ube and the pandan mochi waffles, and the ube flavor definitely won out for me. The first time I ordered in store and ended up waiting 30 minutes for my order. So I would recommend using Snackpass or Doordash to order ahead. The second time I ordered ahead and it was ready when I came to pick up.
