Great Birthday lunch- love the mistletoe margarita. The beef fajita nachos are so good. Tania was great!

LOVE this place! Great fresh food and attentive service. Awesome tequila selection. Table side guacamole with bacon is on point. I have loved everything that I have tried on the menu! read more

This place is amazing, the flavors are great! I'll definitely be back. Also the drink creativity were fabulous.

Had a great experience here last weekend the food was great the drinks were awesome and we had the most fabulous waitress Victoria that took care of us also the manager Ron was nice and I highly recommend this place. read more

Great food, beautiful patio, excellent service! Our server Jorge was fantastic, made amazing recommendations (get the ribs, seriously) and was prompt and attentive even though he had a full section. The tableside guac is some of the best in town. We will be back! read more

Best made from scratch Mexican kitchen in town! Josh is a true asset to this establishment and exceeds all expectations in hospitality. Friendly, hard working and we are always happy to see him. Chicken nachos are incredible as is their salmon and tortilla soup! Highly recommend this restaurant to all our friends and family. Enjoy!! And share your experience! read more

Love this place!!!! But the last 3 times we have come here, there's been soooo many gnats flying around. We sat at bar first and thought moving to table would help. But it didn't. Anyways the manager said they will have in control in about 2 weeks. So if you don't want to be dealing with gnats all around your drinks, food or face wait to go! But amazing food for sure! read more

I see quite a few people on here complaining that their salsa is too hot, really? I dipped my chip hesitantly into the salsa because of some reviews, then I was like hold up, this isn't too hot at all wtf. It was actually pretty damn good, especially their green salsa. I agree that this place is a little overpriced on the food, but it's in a nice area, nicely decorated, and it is really clean. So I didn't mind at all, great atmosphere. The food was good and everything I tried, I enjoyed, no complaints. 5 star experience for our first time here. Shout out to Andrea for her wonderful service. read more

Beautiful ambience! Went there on a lovely Saturday evening. Was told the wait would be for 45 mins, however the table was ready in 10 mins. Loved their tableside fresh gaucomole. That filled us up good. Ordered chicken tacos and was unable to finish it. Would love to go there again read more

It was alright, just like any other Tex mex place around here. Definitely more upscale than your average place, I got the enchiladas. Can't really say anything "amazing" just your standard rice, beans and sauce for the enchiladas. Bartender was nice, I came really late for a to go order when they were closing but they still were able to get me in. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but if I was invited I wouldn't mind going again! read more

The food here is great I come here like twice a week and I love the patio setup this I my favorite Mexican restaurant

My favorite restaurant. And I have high standards as a foodie. Must try their margaritas, they're hands down the best. My fav is "I can't drive 55" it's phenomenal. Atmosphere is great. The Grapevine location (the original location) has a phenomenal patio, you must sit out there when the weather is good! read more

I was so impressed with the salsa, guacamole with bacon, and lunch plates! We had the " Stacked Enchiladas," I will need to go back for dinner and drinks! The portion size are big! read more

Mi Dia From Scratch - Stacked Enchiladas - Mexican Near Me - Plano, Texas

I have been here a total of four times and the food and service just keeps getting better. First about the service...we have had Beto as our server on two occasions. He was amazing! He knew what we needed before we asked for it, was very knowledgeable about the menu, and made several great recommendations. The manager Ronnie was just as great! He engaged with our teenaged son and had him eating the duck tacos!! Second and most importantly the food...everything we have tried has been delicious. I love that this is not just tex-mex food but also has a Santa Fe section to the menu. I tried the New Mexican Guiso which was better than what I had in Santa Fe. read more

Absolutely, hands down, the best street tacos I have ever had. The Sea Bass tacos are amazing!!!! Some of the best queso in town to boot! Impeccable service, Great Atmosphere and if you are a bit on the adventurous side, try the Relleno De Huitlacoche....it is as good or better than what I have had many times in Mexico City's finest restaurants. If the salsa ain't right, it's hard to catch up. Mi Dia has very good salsa. I like the way it's served, half red and half green, in the same bowl. Fresh and nice presentation. There are not many Mexican restaurants where you can choose from Tex mex, New Mexican and true Mexican food. All done well and fresh. My New Mexico chicken burrito was wonderful with green chili and red sauce. My wife's Carna Asada was incredibly flavorful and tender. You can even get fresh made corn tortillas. Like butter. Margaritas are super, along with a huge selection of tequilas. Mi Dia has pushed its way into a spot in our top two or three Mexican places. read more

It's a 5 star restaurant from their service. I think one of the best in the area. We tried few margaritas which were very good. Our waiter even offered to change drinks if we don't like any, but wasn't needed as they all were good. Guacamole was the best and I strongly recommend ordering it with sun dried tomatoes in it. Food was 3 star and lacked flavors. Considering there are several other options nearby for Mexican food within a mile radius, this place was not up to par with some of them. read more

The food is good, but the restaurant designer created a hellish, uncomfortable experience for 4 adults sitting in a booth. Two adults might've been okay, but it was cramped and uncomfortable for four grown ass people. Why do you have a bulky pipe at one end and a wooden brace at the other end!? After barking my shin on the pole sliding over and hitting my knee on the massive wooden brace, I could only sit in one place and couldn't move my legs. There's very little room between the too small table and the back of the booth, too, so the whole experience was akin to flying coach. It detracted from the whole experience, honestly. I might simply be a cranky old lady, but really? Did no one actually try to sit two couples in a booth? read more

It's great to have an excellent Mexican restaurant so close to home. The patio really and truly is amazing and on a pleasant day is an excellent way to spend the afternoon. Why the three stars? Well the bar can take some time to make your drinks. Usually I don't mind waiting especially if we are occupied with eating, but almost 25 minutes waiting was a little much. I came back with my mom and we had a pleasant experience, but the service was a tad bit on the slow side. read more

The guacamole was the best thing but way too large for two people. The margarita my wife ordered was just so so and you need to have incredible margaritas for a Mexican restaurant and I guess I should have asked about the New Mexico stacked enchiladas but $15 is too high for ground beef. read more

Mi Día has incredible service coupled by delicious food. Our waiter was awesome. They have a wide variety of margaritas. We ordered "El Jefe" and "Once in a Blue Moon". They did not disappoint. I ordered the steak relleno and my only regret is that I was too full from chips and salsa to finish it. My fiancé is a steak lover and loved the steak. We will definitely be back! read more

I sat at the bar for dinner and had excellent service and a wonderful meal. I happen to drop something on the floor and when I went down to pick it up I noticed how remarkably clean the floor was as well! read more

The service was great, however, the food was a bit of a disappointment. I had a beef enchilada and a tamale, both had very little favor, nothing special. I also did not care for the chips and salsa or the guacamole. read more

Went for lunch. Nice atmosphere, clean and fair prices. Queso was yummy . Service was good. Drinks refilled, chips refilled without asking. I ordered the stacked enchilada with egg. Green chili on it took me back home (New Mexico). I enjoyed it very much. Rice and beans were fine......like any other place. Salsa was red with splash of green was very good. We will be back and we don't have a lot of restaurants that we are interested in repeat visits. My husband got the Chimichanga and margarita. Chimichanga was not crispy enough to him but margarita was bueno. read more

3 1/2 Star Rating. I have very mixed feeling on this review. This is NOT you typical Mexican or Tex Mex be prepared for totally different flavors. Went here for my b day love the scenery the patio looks great. As far as the food: ok we started with the guac it's nothing out of the normal its a good serving with Three avocados as fas as the toppins its about a table spoon of the rest and salt. (nothing fancy)(and its not even a real molcajete) For our meals we order some of the speacials, my dad had a pablano pepper stuffed with fish and shrimp and mom had the seafood enchiladas which was the same just no pepper and rolled up in tortillas. They were not impressed with the food, but i tasted from each plate and must say they had very diffrent flavors from what they are use to. I had the skirt stake with poblano papper and must say it threw me as well, the flavors were really strong but i mixed it all together it helped not being over powered. Iam glad this type of cusine is here and hope it stays to try some other menu items. But this place is a must try at least once and youll make up your mind from there. read more

Great patio, strong drinks, and btw killer Mexican food. This place is authentic with everything made in house. Fresh and tasty salad, tortilla soup, and a beef enchilada were delicious. I would also recommend reading the drink menu. It offers several unique craft cocktails. The lunch menu is the best value, however the dinner menu features traditional and exotic dishes. It's worth visiting! read more

The place is ok for food. However they are very strict on your order. While they claim the food is made from scratch, I ask for no salt, the manager came back and said food already pre-marinated in salt. Again, since the food is made from scratch, I asked if I can have my "street taco" in combination, two shrimp and two beef and I am willing to pay the higher price. again no luck. they claim again the food already pre-portion and they can not do that. Like almost it is privilege to eat there.. this customer not coming back and not recommending this place. read more

It wasn't the best Mexican food I ever had. The guacamole being made freshly in front of you to your taste is a unique experience, but ultimately my meal was not my favorite. Our waiter was attentive and constantly checked on use and gave us water. This is a good place if you're one of those people who care about good service. read more

Don't sit at the bar to eat because service is terrible. Had to have good taken off my bill because too spicy. Bartender never checked back with us and had to order from another bartender. The food was horrible and never an apology until I said i'm yelping it. Buy off from the manager with a gift certificate. Left it for the bartender as a tip. Get it together Mi Dia! Geeze. read more

I have been coming here since they opened and absolutely loved this place for several years! The steak fajitas and table side guacamole were the best around. The past few times here the guacamole seemed to have less sun dried tomatoes and flavor. Tonight the steak fajitas came out without onions on the plate. I wonder how you can send this out and deliver to the table when the fajitas have always come with onions. I send them back to get a plate with the steak cooked well done. Send those back and finally get it right but with no flavor. I really want to still love the food here, but I feel they have changed cooks or the process of preparing the food. Very disappointing and will give it one and only one more try. Not worth me driving :30 to spend my time and money for something that doesn't love up to what it used to be. read more

By the way, the manager contacted me to try and make up for my terrible experience. It felt too much like he was trying to bribe me to change the review. So I declined. read more

This place has become the new "gold standard " for Tex Mex... we've been here 4 times so far . Every time the food is absolutely delicious no matter what we try . This place can get very pricey , but there are also many moderately priced and tastey dishes as well ( the combo meals start at 11- recommended !). The salads are uniformly good as well . I recommend a reservation a few days in advance for weekend nights ...this place is packed . read more

The lunch menu is great. The duck carnitas tacos are fantastic and the churro dessert is out of this world. Great service, too.

My wife and I have been to Mi dia a couple of times and decided to have a double date night with our neighbors, because they have never been there before. Mi dia did not disappoint. Everything from the meal, the drinks, the table side guacamole and especially our waitress, Nathalie. She knew the menu inside and out, gave us great insight on the drinks and was very prompt while waiting on us. My wife and I are originally from New Mexico, so when we need our 505 fix, we go to Mi dia. read more

This restaurant is awesome! Great food, great, service. Very clean and very upscale. I did not have the margaritas, but I plan on having them the next time. They also have the tequila taster shots that you can try as well, which I plan on doing next time I'm there. Which won't be too long. Go and try for yourself. You will not be disappointed. read more

Mi Dia From Scratch - Mother's Day brunch at Mi Dia. My dish was the salmon. It was so moist and delicious. Their food is to die for. - Mexican Near Me - Plano, Texas

You would think that paying $25 for 4 small sea bass tacos would allow the customer to replace pickled cabbage with picked onions, however, that is not the case. The chef and staff were adamant that I could not swap when they have done this countless other times that I I've come to mi Día. To say that I'm very disappointed as a customer is an understatement! Definitely lost a customer in us. We were regulars but how we've been treated, I'm sure they just don't care. The chef Ron seemed he was on his high horse, so as far as I care he can stay up there. My visit was on Saturday, 2/1/20 at 1:20 pm. read more

Went there for dinner and had a horrible experience with management. The wait for dinner was over an hour and when we asked how long the wait would the manager gave us an attitude about it. Well then when we're finally seated, they sat us right in the front where the door was at knowing we had a new born baby with us and there was a cold breeze every time the door would open. The manager was the one that seated us, we had to ask for a different table and again was given the attitude. We won't be back to any of there locations. read more

Great place! The margaritas are awesome and the traditional street tacos....... well, you just need to come in and try them!
