I spend around four Hundred to Five Hundred dollars with the new car and parts. But please be aware about your parts, because obviously nobody is Perfect. So on the second day, One of The Parts doesn't fit in my Other car. It's an expensive part. I went back to see if it's any solution and then the same guy who sales me the car. I guess he's the manager. He doesn't know anything about customer service. So at the end, when you really need a solution, they don't give you none of any nice solution because instead of a trying to find a solution too exchange, the part that it's not cheap He just told me all negative solution that it was my fault. That is not refundable. I don't want my money back. I just want the right part for my car. So he told me no. Basically sorry it's not about money. It's about customer service. I work in a customer service development and That is not how you treat your clients.so in the Main time I'm not going back to that store.

At about that time another guy appeared from 'round the corner and helped me. They had much more than the first, uninterested employee let on. Once I went to check out I went back to the uninterested employee, who had been behind the register. He rung me up then unceremoniously stepped back from the counter and went, "Okay, there you go.", leaving me to awkwardly reach forward and grab my jumble of items I'd just paid for. The prices were fairly high, and given the fact that I felt uncomfortable asking a simple question and then made to feel even more awkward actually purchasing something...yeah, I just don't think I'll be back.

I was excited, it was a kit I had been hunting for quite some time, and I thought I would finally have one in my collection. I paid for shipping, and it was sent USPS Ground Advantage, with insurance. USPS decided to deliver it to the wrong address, and to absolutely no one's surprise, it vanished. USPS informed me that the shipper has to initiate a claim, it is not something I can do, and they gave me a letter admitting the mistake and that the package is now lost. I relayed this to Andy'sHHQ, and they didn't respond. In fact, due to their sluggish response to the situation, they are now sold out of that model, so even if refunded, I can't get it any more. I reached out to Andy'sHHQ again today, only to be met with an excuse about how they aren't responsible, they shipped it, so if it is lost I have to deal with the USPS. But the USPS already told me I had to deal with the shipper. This "hobby shop" clearly isn't trustworthy in any way, and that angers me because I have sent a few people their way after I had ordered a couple of times and had no issue, so I thought they could be trusted. Now I look bad if any of those people don't get what they ordered and paid for. It is truly a sad world we live in where any retail company feels like it is perfectly acceptable to ignore the actual customer just as long as they say they have no responsibility once anything ordered online leaves their store.

Calvin and Emmet were working, and they could not have been more welcoming. They invited me to sit at one of the tables so I could watch the game while sorting thru a bunch of boxes. I thanked them for not sweating people who are just trying to find some gold. One of the young men went and got me a cold water and we talked ball for a while as I continued to search. All in all it just feels like the old school shops when you could go in and look for what you like, instead of being pushed out of the way for people buying thousand dollar cards. One other thing I'd like to point out, is they will take a look at anything you feel like parting ways with. Saw a couple different people come in, and the staff gave them fair and honest pricing and advice, instead of belittling them or offering them well under comps. This place is also located in a cool part of downtown phoenix, so you can park for free near the park, walk to the shop, then check into some of the local eateries and bars!

I was surprised upon entering because this building originally housed an art coop. We checked it out anyway. Rip Valley sells sports trading cards, memorabilia, graphic t shirts, sportswear and sneakers. There was a nice lounge area. Street metered parking which operates until 10pm. The meters accept credit cards. Police patrolled. Paid lot parking as well.
