Parking in the back. Came here because I saw a post on instagram that their tacos were $1. They are Tuesdays and Fridays. These are by far the best tacos we've had in south Florida. The flavor is amazing and they are never homemade and authentic. The drinks were really good as well. Everything was priced well. We paid $40 for everything. 4 stars because they didn't give us water at all for some reason and they didn't have tres leche cake as dessert. I've never been to a Mexican restaurant that doesn't have that. Another thing is that it's not very clear which tacos are a $1.82.

Best taco Tuesday and Mexican food in Miami! The best passion fruit margaritas done by Angie's Esquite is amazing! Taco Tuesday tacos $1.85 for each taco!! Just food tastes like real Mexico! Come and discover this place you will not regret!

Super slammin fresh food. FINALLY a Super authentic Mexican spot especially coming from LA! Pretty picky! Came on Taco Tuesday and went in... Parking seemed hard to find then realized there was a back lot. Didnt really know what to order but we pretty much ordered all the tacos! Service was great, nice servers and the decoration was cool like your in Mexico city! And now for the food slammmmmmin! The shrimp hands down a winner! Will be back next Tuesday!

We've been driving by this restaurant for about 9 years now and have always wanted to stop by and check it out. We love Mexican and specially when it's an actual Mexican restaurant not just an option of tacos in any other chain restaurants. Finally had the craving for Mexican, the time to go and in the mood to explore new places. This was a FANTASTIC option for us and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend giving Mexico 1810 a try and I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as we did. Parking is funny.. there is a sign that says there is parking in the back... the parking in the back is the parking lot of the Miami Dade Public Library.... So that's your parking. lol. Service was great. We sat at the bar because that was the best option at the time we walked in and it was actually a great option. I'd sit there again. No problem. It's a small place with limited seating. They have Mexican music streaming and Mexican movies or music videos on the one screen displayed behind the bar. It was a Friday and one of the specials was $1.89 tacos. Not all tocos are on promo but we did try three of them. A beef, a chicken and a chorizo. All good. The star of the show was the churrasco taco which was not on special. Super delicious. As an appetizer we ordered the chicken quesadilla. OMG THAT ALONE could be your meal and you'd be so happy and satisfied. It is absolutely a must have. The cocktails and delicious. Order the margarita and the table gets complimentary chips with hot sauces to dip in. It's not chips, you get round fried puffed corn wheels. So good. Enjoy. One more thing, the prices you'll get billed for are not as listed on the menu. The cocktail was listed as $10 but got charged $10.50. All items were masked up $.51 or some odd numbers. Um... that's fine but there are people that naught find it strange and complain. Not sure what they do if you do point it out. Lmk. Overall... AMAZING FOOD. try this small establishment

Came by Saturday night for a late dinner. This was the first time at this restaurant and was surprised to see how busy it was for the rest of the night. Definitely a local hot spot with authentic decor. Unfortunately, service was not good. We had to ask for utensils and they brought us two sets, even though we were a party of three - which was just weird. Service was slow overall and the food comes out as it's made so everyone is eating at different times. They forgot my taco order and then brought me the wrong taco. Prices are reasonable and there is a variety of items on the menu. About the food: Margarita's - they were very good and at $7 - a great deal. Elote- was good - not the best I've had, but good. Birria nachos- a huge serving so definitely good to share. The Birria was seasoned very well. Steak burrito- steak was seasoned well. Taco- ordered Al Pasteur, but received barbacoa- seasoned well.

Comida exelente , la atencion muy muy buena y las margaritas de parte de Angie muy muy muy buenas !

A lot of food for a reasonable price

Thank you Yelp! This place was everything and beyond. I wanted some authentic tacos that remind me of my visits to Mexico. To begin, location is on 36street (next to checkers drive thru).. park in the back and walk towards the street. Once I entered, I knew the food would be good! I immediately was greeted and was provided a menu (soo many choices). I went for the 3 taco special that came with steak, chicken mixed with cheese and bacon!! (Soo good). I also ordered a supreme beef taco and stuffed peppers. The food was phenomenal and the margarita was amazing! This place does get busy so there a a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. I will surely return and try the Torpedo and beef cheek taco next time!

I've seen this place in my maps for a few months now. I live very close to it. Finally decided to come and i can say it was totally worth it. I wish I would've came sooner. The michelada was good, the queso with chorizo was delicious and so was the rest of the food. I honestly give it a 10/10. The food, the service, everything. Very lowkey place but amazing. I totally recommend you guys to come!! Place is clean and great music.

My friends and I were starving at it was only 11 found this place that was open early for lunch so decided to give it a try. The micheladas are delicious and the food is large portions. Everything was good and quick just what we were hoping for. Parking is easy behind the restaurant. Only thing that bothered me was the Clorox smell When we came in. I guess since it was early they had just cleaned...

Food was delicious and service was great. Tacos are reduced price on Fridays. I also did the cheese dip with beef and was pleasantly surprised. They also serve tequila -- they only have one brand (I wasn't familiar with the name and to my surprise it wasn't bad at all.) There is also an option to sit and eat at the counter which made it more causal dinning.

Parking was a bit challenging due to the limited number of spaces, but once we walked inside, the experience more than made up for it. We were warmly greeted by Carolina, who also became our server. She was incredibly patient and took her time walking us through the menu, explaining each dish and how everything is prepared. Her dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out, and we hope management recognizes what an asset she is. Carolina proudly shared that every item on the menu is made in‑house, and it absolutely shows. My wife ordered the Quesadilla de Pollo with a side of Arroz Mexicano and couldn't stop talking about the exceptional flavors. I chose the Tostada al Pastor, a small Tortilla Soup, and a side salad. Everything was delicious, but the Tortilla Soup was the star of the meal--a perfect example of why in‑house preparation matters. Since we're not from the area, we weren't sure where to go for lunch, and we truly lucked out choosing Don Maguey--and having Carolina as our server. Thank you, Carolina. When I looked 20 minutes after at my credit card statement read I had been charged $77 and change pending a potential tip on top of that, even with tip included it is still over approximately $7 what I signed off for. We called to determine the prices of each individual meal and "the manager" was stumbling to tell us the prices for everything. Even with the fake numbers that were given to us it still didn't add up correctly. I remember the prices for the 3 meals my family and I ordered and I remember what the check said. I let it be because maybe they need more than I do. As for the food, I'm born and raised on the border of Mexico and although I must say it does scream authenticity especially on appearance the meat is bland, and that "Mexican rice" is by far the worst tasting rice I've had. For a casual person that likes Mexican food you may like it, but if you know what you're tasting you will not. Also, they didn't have 4 different things on the menu available ultimately leading me to have to go with my 5th option. It is very expensive for what it is, and even more expensive when your waitress manipulates the system.

We went here between January 27 & February 6/2026. La Potranca has five Florida locations, but this cantina does not feel like a chain. Authentic sabor Mexicano with an excellent friendly staff. Family friendly & handi-able accesible from the parking lot. This location gets full by 7pm but there is extended service & seating in the common covered courtyard. Plenty of parking in this strip mall location. Service is excellent, fast, & great choices of tacos & drinks. You can choose from 14 different meats/cuts for your tacos, including birria & al pastor. Bow to the taco! Also gringas, vampiros, & burritos. They have bowls (they're BIG) & brunch. p.s. try the churros with 3 dipping sauces. Drinks are extra special here. The clamato & beer cocktail is very unique. Served in a Tajin rimmed large mug, with lime & a tamarind wrapped straw. Excellante! Also a variety of margaritas served in whimsical glasses & their three house cervazas (beers) on draft. La Potranca pays homage to iconic singer & actor Vincente Fernandez "King of Ranchera". Check out the interesting connection with the staff or online. The staff here is excellent. Very helpful when navigating the menu. Very friendly. True professionals. Special shout out to Mauricio & Ralphael - you hombres make this place truly special. Mucho Gracias. We give La Potranca our highest recommendation. The hardest part about dining here was deciding what I wanted to order. I could have ordered the entire menu it looked so good! Helpful tip... check out the menu and know what you're going to order before you get in line. Otherwise you're going to be pressured to order at the front of the line. When you walk in, you place your order and pay for it and take a table number. You need to find your own table. Our service was pretty quick, despite how busy the restaurant was. My cold brew was very good and a nice start to the meal. Our guacamole came next and it was nicely styled with pomegranate, cheese and cilantro on top. Yum! The real star of the show for me was this unassuming looking House Club Sandwich that was to die for. Seriously ... it was so good. I ordered mine without the ham, and it was divine! I wish i lived closer. I'm already dreaming of coming back. My son ordered some kind of short rib/beef burrito and it disappeared so quickly I didn't even get to snap a photo. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a great meal, I highly recommend it. One thing I can say is that it's on the pricey side. $113 lunch for 2 added up super fast but it was well worth it.
