Parking in the back. Came here because I saw a post on instagram that their tacos were $1. They are Tuesdays and Fridays. These are by far the best tacos we've had in south Florida. The flavor is amazing and they are never homemade and authentic. The drinks were really good as well. Everything was priced well. We paid $40 for everything. 4 stars because they didn't give us water at all for some reason and they didn't have tres leche cake as dessert. We've been driving by this restaurant for about 9 years now and have always wanted to stop by and check it out. We love Mexican and specially when it's an actual Mexican restaurant not just an option of tacos in any other chain restaurants. Service was great. We sat at the bar because that was the best option at the time we walked in and it was actually a great option. I'd sit there again. No problem. It's a small place with limited seating. They have Mexican music streaming and Mexican movies or music videos on the one screen displayed behind the bar. It was a Friday and one of the specials was $1.89 tacos. Not all tocos are on promo but we did try three of them. A beef, a chicken and a chorizo. All good. The star of the show was the churrasco taco which was not on special. Super delicious. As an appetizer we ordered the chicken quesadilla. OMG THAT ALONE could be your meal and you'd be so happy and satisfied. It is absolutely a must have. The cocktails and delicious. Order the margarita and the table gets complimentary chips with hot sauces to dip in. It's not chips, you get round fried puffed corn wheels. So good. Enjoy. One more thing, the prices you'll get billed for are not as listed on the menu. The cocktail was listed as $10 but got charged $10.50. All items were masked up $.51 or some odd numbers. Came by Saturday night for a late dinner. This was the first time at this restaurant and was surprised to see how busy it was for the rest of the night. Definitely a local hot spot with authentic decor. Unfortunately, service was not good. We had to ask for utensils and they brought us two sets, even though we were a party of three - which was just weird. Service was slow overall and the food comes out as it's made so everyone is eating at different times. They forgot my taco order and then brought me the wrong taco. Prices are reasonable and there is a variety of items on the menu. About the food: Margarita's - they were very good and at $7 - a great deal. Elote- was good - not the best I've had, but good. Birria nachos- a huge serving so definitely good to share. The Birria was seasoned very well. Steak burrito- steak was seasoned well. Discrimination & False Accusations - Stay Away On September 5 at 4:10 PM, I visited this location. What happened was unacceptable: * The woman pictured not only discriminated against my service dog, but also called me a thief without knowing anything about my order. * I had originally placed a pick-up order online, but when I arrived, I was told it had never gone through. I then placed a new order in person for takeout, making it clear I did not want to dine in (even though the waitress offered three times). * Instead of treating me with respect, this woman made false allegations, tried to defend herself with lies, and refused to let me speak with the owner. She falsely claimed to be the manager, which was not true. * When I asked for my check so I could wait outside with my service dog, they refused to give it to me. * When I tried to call the restaurant to file a complaint, my calls were blocked and now go straight to voicemail. This is not my first time at this restaurant, but it is the first time I have faced discrimination toward both myself and my service dog. The food is also unacceptable: * Cold, stale, and reheated leftovers from the day before. * They run taco sales using day-old food and don't tell customers ahead of time. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I had to call the police and report this location to code compliance for being dirty with roaches and rats. They discriminate, lie, and mistreat customers. To begin, location is on 36street (next to checkers drive thru).. park in the back and walk towards the street. Once I entered, I knew the food would be good! I immediately was greeted and was provided a menu (soo many choices). I went for the 3 taco special that came with steak, chicken mixed with cheese and bacon!! (Soo good). I also ordered a supreme beef taco and stuffed peppers. The food was phenomenal and the margarita was amazing! This place does get busy so there a a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. The green salsa was good. Ordered lengua and al pastor tacos. They reminded me of Durango style, stewed in tomato sauce. Not my favorite, however the big chunks of lengua were tender. I come here every week but sorry no photos of the tacos since I literally inhale them the second they come to my table. I did get a photo of these delish drinks for you guys! Just like church on Sundays, this is my church on Tuesdays. The tacos are $1.80 like whatttt?! Unheard of! But even better, they are amazing! And have an unlimited toppings bar with salsas, limes, radishes, cucumber lo que te imagines ahí está complementario. The shots are $3 all the time and margaritas are $7 and also amazing, strong and delicious. The taco selection is huge but my favorite are the tacos dorados (also $1.80 on Tuesdays) the taco de nopal, Al pastor and lengua. The birria plater is also a must if you're craving all things Birria. The only downside of this spot is how long it takes!! The service and parking is great but I think they are way too packed I usually go around 6-8 and it takes over 30 minutes to get food and another 30 to get the check. Everytime I've gone they give me something free because of the wait and last time I had to straight just cancel half my order because I was in a time crunch and honestly don't have many days I can sit 2-3 hours at a restaurant to eat. I do enjoy coming here after the end of a long day and the service is great they always comp something to make up for the wait which I've never asked for but they are really sweet and accommodating! During my 1st visit for lunch, I was allowed to use a card which I thought going forward would be great. I went today 8.23.22 at 12:50 pm for lunch and the young lady at the bar couldn't help me with the Zelle payment so she said this time she will take my card even though it was under $10. The part that has me PISSED OFF and it's partially my fault for not looking at my receipt. DONT LISTEN TO THE INSTAGRAM HYPE, THIS PLACE IS TRASH. I'm all about supporting local spots, so I gave this place two shots just to confirm. The food smells off, the guacamole was warm, and the meat tastes like it'll get you sick. The customer service is dismissive and rude, and if you don't speak Spanish, they give you an attitude real quick (saw them do it to two different groups). It's almost as if they're upset they went viral and are purposely treating their non-regulars like a burden - and not in a "we're so cool" exclusive way like most miami spots, but like a "wait do you think that waiter is going to spit in my food because I mispronounced Al Pastor" kind of way. My group visited this restaurant because of the high ratings, but unfortunately, it did not meet our expectation. We arrived during lunch hour, so it was very busy. With only one waitress, we weren't asked for our order or given water until other tables had their orders out. We waited for over thirty minutes, just for menus. As for the food, most plates start around $10. I ordered the bistec to go, since the wait was so long, we didn't have time to eat in the restaurant. When we received the food, the employees were confused about our orders, thus almost charging us with the wrong prices. As for the to-go order, they didn't include utensils/napkins, so be prepared! The actual meal was decent; a thin strip of steak covered in a tomato sauce, reef fried beans, rice, and side salad. Nothing extravagant, and definitely not worth the wait. In Miami, I personally believe there are similar restaurants around that I'm more excited to check out. read more

Saw this place on Yelp and decided to check it out. This place did not disappoint. The food and atmosphere was authentic Mexican. Patty, our server, was terrific. She was warm and inviting, took our order quickly, brought our food, and checked on us to see if we needed anything else. We took advantage of the Friday night taco special.
