Best taco Tuesday and Mexican food in Miami! The best passion fruit margaritas done by Angie's Esquite is amazing! Taco Tuesday tacos $1.85 for each taco!! Just food tastes like real Mexico! Come and discover this place you will not regret!

We've been driving by this restaurant for about 9 years now and have always wanted to stop by and check it out. We love Mexican and specially when it's an actual Mexican restaurant not just an option of tacos in any other chain restaurants. Finally had the craving for Mexican, the time to go and in the mood to explore new places. This was a FANTASTIC option for us and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend giving Mexico 1810 a try and I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as we did. Parking is funny.. there is a sign that says there is parking in the back... the parking in the back is the parking lot of the Miami Dade Public Library.... So that's your parking. lol. Service was great. We sat at the bar because that was the best option at the time we walked in and it was actually a great option. I'd sit there again. No problem. It's a small place with limited seating. They have Mexican music streaming and Mexican movies or music videos on the one screen displayed behind the bar. It was a Friday and one of the specials was $1.89 tacos. Not all tocos are on promo but we did try three of them. A beef, a chicken and a chorizo. All good. The star of the show was the churrasco taco which was not on special. Super delicious. As an appetizer we ordered the chicken quesadilla. OMG THAT ALONE could be your meal and you'd be so happy and satisfied. It is absolutely a must have. The cocktails and delicious. Order the margarita and the table gets complimentary chips with hot sauces to dip in. It's not chips, you get round fried puffed corn wheels. So good. Enjoy. One more thing, the prices you'll get billed for are not as listed on the menu. The cocktail was listed as $10 but got charged $10.50. All items were masked up $.51 or some odd numbers. Um... that's fine but there are people that naught find it strange and complain. Not sure what they do if you do point it out. Lmk. Overall... AMAZING FOOD. try this small establishment

Super slammin fresh food. FINALLY a Super authentic Mexican spot especially coming from LA! Pretty picky! Came on Taco Tuesday and went in... Parking seemed hard to find then realized there was a back lot. Didnt really know what to order but we pretty much ordered all the tacos! Service was great, nice servers and the decoration was cool like your in Mexico city! And now for the food slammmmmmin! The shrimp hands down a winner! Will be back next Tuesday!

Came by Saturday night for a late dinner. This was the first time at this restaurant and was surprised to see how busy it was for the rest of the night. Definitely a local hot spot with authentic decor. Unfortunately, service was not good. We had to ask for utensils and they brought us two sets, even though we were a party of three - which was just weird. Service was slow overall and the food comes out as it's made so everyone is eating at different times. They forgot my taco order and then brought me the wrong taco. Prices are reasonable and there is a variety of items on the menu. About the food: Margarita's - they were very good and at $7 - a great deal. Elote- was good - not the best I've had, but good. Birria nachos- a huge serving so definitely good to share. The Birria was seasoned very well. Steak burrito- steak was seasoned well. Taco- ordered Al Pasteur, but received barbacoa- seasoned well.

Comida exelente , la atencion muy muy buena y las margaritas de parte de Angie muy muy muy buenas !

A lot of food for a reasonable price

Thank you Yelp! This place was everything and beyond. I wanted some authentic tacos that remind me of my visits to Mexico. To begin, location is on 36street (next to checkers drive thru).. park in the back and walk towards the street. Once I entered, I knew the food would be good! I immediately was greeted and was provided a menu (soo many choices). I went for the 3 taco special that came with steak, chicken mixed with cheese and bacon!! (Soo good). I also ordered a supreme beef taco and stuffed peppers. The food was phenomenal and the margarita was amazing! This place does get busy so there a a bit of a wait, but it's worth it. I will surely return and try the Torpedo and beef cheek taco next time!

I've seen this place in my maps for a few months now. I live very close to it. Finally decided to come and i can say it was totally worth it. I wish I would've came sooner. The michelada was good, the queso with chorizo was delicious and so was the rest of the food. I honestly give it a 10/10. The food, the service, everything. Very lowkey place but amazing. I totally recommend you guys to come!! Place is clean and great music.

My friends and I were starving at it was only 11 found this place that was open early for lunch so decided to give it a try. The micheladas are delicious and the food is large portions. Everything was good and quick just what we were hoping for. Parking is easy behind the restaurant. Only thing that bothered me was the Clorox smell When we came in. I guess since it was early they had just cleaned...

Food was delicious and service was great. Tacos are reduced price on Fridays. I also did the cheese dip with beef and was pleasantly surprised. They also serve tequila -- they only have one brand (I wasn't familiar with the name and to my surprise it wasn't bad at all.) There is also an option to sit and eat at the counter which made it more causal dinning.

Super friendly waiters and an amazing kitchen make this restaurant a great experience every time you come here. The menu isn't big but it truly has everyone's favorite dishes. Tacos, sopes, enchiladas, mole and many, many more. The key is everything is made fresh daily. The al pastor tacos, green enchiladas, birria and the mole sauce are all incredibly delicious. Try their micheladas and also the spicy margaritas (both super good). The restaurant ambiance is very cozy and inviting. Its simple but nicely decorated. Give it a try.

We showed up around 3pm on a Sunday and waited about 30 minutes, which felt fair once we realized how small and cozy the place is. Seating is limited, so a bit of patience helps. The food delivered--everything was solid--and the service moved along at a nice pace without feeling rushed. The only real headache? Parking. It's pretty tight and can take some circling to snag a spot. All in, a really enjoyable lunch and definitely worth a return visit... maybe just with a parking strategy next time.

We went here between January 27 & February 6/2026. La Potranca has five Florida locations, but this cantina does not feel like a chain. Authentic sabor Mexicano with an excellent friendly staff. Family friendly & handi-able accesible from the parking lot. This location gets full by 7pm but there is extended service & seating in the common covered courtyard. Plenty of parking in this strip mall location. Service is excellent, fast, & great choices of tacos & drinks. You can choose from 14 different meats/cuts for your tacos, including birria & al pastor. Bow to the taco! Also gringas, vampiros, & burritos. They have bowls (they're BIG) & brunch. p.s. try the churros with 3 dipping sauces. Drinks are extra special here. The clamato & beer cocktail is very unique. Served in a Tajin rimmed large mug, with lime & a tamarind wrapped straw. Excellante! Also a variety of margaritas served in whimsical glasses & their three house cervazas (beers) on draft. La Potranca pays homage to iconic singer & actor Vincente Fernandez "King of Ranchera". Check out the interesting connection with the staff or online. The staff here is excellent. Very helpful when navigating the menu. Very friendly. True professionals. The hardest part about dining here was deciding what I wanted to order. I could have ordered the entire menu it looked so good! Helpful tip... check out the menu and know what you're going to order before you get in line. Otherwise you're going to be pressured to order at the front of the line. When you walk in, you place your order and pay for it and take a table number. You need to find your own table. Our service was pretty quick, despite how busy the restaurant was. My cold brew was very good and a nice start to the meal. Our guacamole came next and it was nicely styled with pomegranate, cheese and cilantro on top. Yum! The real star of the show for me was this unassuming looking House Club Sandwich that was to die for. Seriously ... it was so good. I ordered mine without the ham, and it was divine! I wish i lived closer. I'm already dreaming of coming back. My son ordered some kind of short rib/beef burrito and it disappeared so quickly I didn't even get to snap a photo. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a great meal, I highly recommend it. One thing I can say is that it's on the pricey side. $113 lunch for 2 added up super fast but it was well worth it. I ordered the mahi mahi tacos, and while they tasted ok, the portion size felt pretty small for the price. Overall, it came across as a bit overpriced for what you get. The service style is more casual and self-directed. You order and pay at the register, get a number, and then find your own seat while they bring the food out to you. Water is self-serve, and once you're done with your meal, you just head out. There's minimal interaction with staff, which might appeal to people who prefer a more low-key, independent dining experience or want a place to sit and work without being interrupted. That said, the service did not feel very friendly or welcoming. And personally, I left feeling a bit underwhelmed.

Having stayed till closing of two music week events the prior to evenings, this was in my mind a great recovery meal. Despite the name, this restaurant is not just Mexican, but actually fusion with Uruguayan cuisine. The main courses focused on that area, and the tacos had a lot of exotica such as ear and tongue. Given my preferences, and my stomach, the only basic options that I would get were there Al Pastor and chicken tacos, five dollars each. The menu said that they had alcohol, but apparently not on that week, supposedly for some bureaucratic issue. The tacos were served with just the tortilla and the meat, along with a basket of fixings, such as cilantro and line. No complaints of the food really, the tacos were actually well seasoned and for my taste buds made even better with the hot sauce that left a yummy after burn. When I went to the bathroom, the handle on the door was damaged. Besides that, in the end I was not feeling the place especially that there was a mandatory gratuity.
