My clients wanted to try this spot for lunch. They called in the order and I ordered the wings and peanut butter and banana smoothie. When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked in and was greeted. My food was ready and I paid and left. When I dug in the smoothie was very delicious and the wings were good as well. I definitely would return especially for a smoothie!

Visited for breakfast and it was decent price for the items we ordered. Would go back again. Staff appeared to be wonderful people and I hope they stay that way. Quaint little place.

Here is our favorite local breakfast spot! Their bagels are best in town! We love their flat sesame bagel toasted with cream cheese yummm! Their omelettes are perfect, too! Served with side toast and home potatoes. Choose anything from the menu, you won't regret it! They have both indoor and outdoor tables. You get your food so quickly no matter how packed they are! I believe they also deliver. The staff are always friendly, but Sylvia is the best! :) thanks her for her warm smile :)

Welcoming, clean and organized. That's what I noticed off the bat. My first time here. Used my GrubHub gift. 8 times out of 10, businesses fail in quality or timeliness. The quality of my family's breakfast order was great. Additionally, I appreciate how everything was packed with care and prepared on time. No wait. They completed the order at 7:45 -- the exact time I was scheduled to pick up. Warm friendly smiles and service. Will definitely be visiting again! Check them out.

I really wanted to like this place however, after today's experience I might stay away. Yesterday I ordered a turkey sandwich with mayo and vinegar. You would think it would be dressed with those two condiments however, it was dry. If you want mayo I would suggest immediately ordering extra since I barely had a taste of it. I then ordered a double espresso which I enjoyed. I like the bean they are roasting. I wanted to give this place another try today as I have been craving a lox bagel. To my surprise they forgot the cream cheese! The order with a double espresso was $10.65, kinda pricey especially with no cream cheese. I didn't bother to correct the order since I thought putting cream cheese would be more fattening at this point. Bagel & lox it was! The staff is very friendly. You would think since their competitors (Garden Pizza) are on vacation they would step up their game!

Their bagels are very good! I had a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese, which was simple but very good. My son had a great looking sausage, egg and cheese on a plain bagel, which he said was very good.

I've been ordering delivery from here the past few weeks for my family to give them something different than Frosted Flakes and Oatmeal. I order on their website, which at first can be a little tricky. They have so many selections and different combos, you gotta keep track of your order and make sure it's right when your done. I usually order late, cause I'm up anyway so the order will be there waiting for them to see when they open. Since I'm ordering late after everyone is asleep, it's up to me to decide what to get everyone. I keep it simple, just Bagels with different variations. My wife loves Everything Bagels, so I get her one with cream cheese, lox, red onion, and tomato. The Bagel even with delivery is still warm and has a nice toast to it ( which BTW is an option to select on the online ordering menu ). The Lox has a nice smoked taste, the red onions a great crisp bite, the tomato thinly sliced perfectly. One bite into your toasted perfectly prepared bagel your in heaven. There are a couple of downsides though. Never with the food or quality of it. Delivery times can be long, now like I said I've only ordered delivery from here recently so I can understand delays. These are trying times and I'm sure their doing their best. I ordered last night bagels for this morning, everything went well but the kids order. I ordered them 2 mini bagels, but they did not make them. Ok no problem they gave us 2 regular bagels instead. I wasn't going to complain about something like that. On their website when I checked out the bagels I purchased, the prices weren't right. There was like a $1.15 difference per bagel than what my original total was. Once again not going to complain, so it cost me an additional $4! I got a phone call an hr prior to the delivery to inform me of this error, so no surprises. One thing that really bothered me though the delivery person while wearing a mask did not have gloves on. I paid and left the tip online but still had to sign a credit card receipt. I usually don't have to do that when receiving delivery orders. In retrospect I should have gotten my own pen to sign, but I was trying to keep the kids from running outside. I can't blame the establishment for that, once the driver leaves there's no possible way for them to know what safe practices they are taking. Bottom line is in these tuff times, support your local businesses as much as possible. I will continue to support this establishment, for the quality of their great food, courteous staff, and just staying open when so many others around here are closing.

Why would they even serve me this

I came here excited to have another flavor only to discover they carry only those three flavors. When I asked the cashier about the bagel of the day she said there wasn't one. After we ordered I then realized that they had both salt bagels and blueberry bagels. Why did she not tell us that? We also tried to order a cheese bun because we saw them on trays having just been removed from the oven. However the staff member told us they were out of cheese buns. The sandwich was great. The tomato jam was generously applied and they weren't stingy with the avocado. The challah and babka were both really nice! The challah is on the sweet side. I bet both would be even better microwaved. They have a bit of a gluten free vibe to the texture still, but are overall great compared to store bought. Our lattes came out quickly. No utensils, and they don't give napkins with your order. Bathroom is not very accessible. High sink, no hooks or grab bars. No seating for breakfast or lunch. It was extremely busy on a Sunday at lunchtime.

It has only one store, which is found on Amsterdam Avenue on the Upper West Side of New York City, - and it has changed very little over the past 120+ years. Most famous for its Smoked Fish, especially its Smoked Sturgeon, Barney Greengrass has an extensive menu along this line, offering mostly cured fish items, either in sliced form, or as smoked fish salads. However there is a small list of meat sandwiches that are offered as well, making Barney Greengrass yet another great Jewish Deli in NYC that is NOT Kosher. During my numerous visit between 1976 and 1999, the service at Barney Greengrass has always been friendly and informative. It made me feel like I was a regular here, even during my fist visit. I found it good to get a large of their amazing Borscht as well, as a refreshing pallet cleanser. And just to mix things up a bit, I once slit a Pastrami Sandwich, whish was on the small side for an NYC Deli, but was delicious that it was well worth price. Other items of is their Pickled Herring Salad, their White Fish Salad, and especially their Latkes (potato pancakes). I'm so glad Broad Nosh Bagels & Deli popped up in my search, as it was exactly what I was looking to enjoy. A couple of us trekked the few blocks to find the storefront. Inside it was PACKED, and several groups and lines snaked around the dividers. But the line moved quickly between customers picking up to-go meals and placing orders at the counters. The display cases are beautiful and feature so many different kinds of cream cheese. (Who knew you could make a whole vat of Biscoff?) They also had many types of smoked fish and toppings for customers filing through. Once you order food, you take your ticket to the register where you can add any drinks. This also went fairly quickly. Food and drink order numbers were called out and checked with the receipts, although they called out a set of orders for several minutes and no one came to pick them up. There are a few tables there, but since customers wait to grab drinks and food near the front, the couple tables at the front were basically for crowd control. I definitely wouldn't try to eat there unless I happened to be going at a quieter time. I got the bagel with smoked salmon, and it was exactly what I had been craving. Their bagels are a quarter pound each, so you might even get two meals out of it if you have a fridge for storage. But even as good as the bagel was, the hot chai latte with oat milk was the star for me. It was so incredibly layered for flavor and fragrant, just lightly sweet. I would go out of my way on a trip to NYC just to get one of these for breakfast! We all really enjoyed our food, and I will definitely return.

This location 167 West 74th Street is the original brick and mortar storefront. Levain Bakery does validate for all the hype, sweetness indulgence and fresh-baked artesian cookies and baked goodies. I am Cookie Monster from "Sesame Street" whose eyes are bigger than his stomach who becomes highly excited to engulf all cookies characteristic aesthetic thrashing, splattering every where when consuming within mere minutes. There was a short line waiting to enter for orders to be placed. Upon entering the air conditioning is at full artic chill blast and the air has a sweet aromatic odor emanating throughout. I inquired with the sales associate if the classic chocolate chip cookie contained any nuts who responded "no." I do not have any food allergies. I absolutely do not like nuts in any form. I am not allergic to nuts either. It is not my cup of tea. I am very grateful the classic chocolate chip cookie does not contain any nuts. Customer service is very attentive and exhibited who assisted me with respect, patience and perspective to explain and listen to my requests and needs as I matter. This female server was not curt and I was not rushed. I was acknowledged. I was seen. I was heard. I was not dismissed. I was respected without the standard producing a disgruntled face of reluctance to service me. I am one life in the smallest measurement. The female associate permitted me to take photos of the cookies in the display case without question which is posted with this review. Merchandise of T-shirts, tote bags, mugs, gift tin boxes are available for sale as well. This location is small as it is take-out and go. There are several steps going downward at the entrance which is not ADA accessible. There are some outdoor benches for seating, but no table. I suggest to order and consume in the comfort of your own home for full immerse enjoyment with a table. Yes, cash is accepted as that works greatly for me. Levain Bakery complies with "Prohibition of Cashless Establishments" as of March 21, 2026 where all retail and food establishments in New York State, including New York City, must accept in-person cash payments. Thank you, Levain Bakery for not giving me a red card! I was not blatantly ejected. I would surely return for another visit. Chocolate chip cookie $5.75 each One word: WOW! The interior was oozing with semi-sweetness. The cookie is gargantuan and very thick somewhat bulky. It is massive size well known weighing exactly 6 ounces (170 g) each and measure about 8-10 cm. in diameter and 3-4 cm thick. It is not a traditional flat cookie as I hoped. It is massive chewy interiors. It is soft. It is not crispy. Levain takes the classic chocolate chip cookie and make it their version. It did break apart and dropped onto my plate upon the third bite. It is amazing! I suggest warm-up the cookie in the microwave for approximately 1 minute. I purchased two (2) quantity of these delightful chocolate chip cookies. Delicious. I enjoyed mine with one glass of red wine which I did achieved equanimity state of mind. A friend and I chose to experience the Restaurant Week lunch special since neither of us had been to this restaurant before. We sat at the bar and decided to go for the $19 lunch special they serve Monday - Friday instead. We had alot of staff servicing us. Even though we sat at the actual bar, we had a floor server attending to us as well as the bar staff. We even met the manager, Tiffany, as she introduced herself to us and made sure we were taken care of properly. The UWS location is huge. It is about 2/3rds of a North/South block with an enclosed patio built in the front of the restaurant. The bar is simply beautiful. It is half inside and half on the sidewalk also semi enclosed. I did not walk around the inside of the restaurant but I did see there were alot of mirrors and a darker interior. Bar was filled with liquor on the walls and gave it a modern day saloon feel. Very comfortable and inviting. We ordered drinks initially. They were carefully crafted and tasty on a hot summer day. I ordered the Waldorf Salad lunch special and my friend had the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. I must say the portions are large. They make sure you do not leave hungry! :) Both entrees came with soup and a second side. I had the biscuit and honey/maple butter. Oh my was it heavenly. My friend was super satisfied with her sandwich. It looked like a meal fit for a Queen! All of the food was seasoned well. While we were still enjoying our meal the bar changed from lunch to happy hour service. My friend decided to order the Margarita flight. It came with three flavored margaritas for a mere $12. I tried the Spicy Brine Margarita and it will now be the only drink I have for future visits. So delicious and flavorful. We were having such a great time as the bar filled with patrons and we spoke with our neighbors. At this time one of our servers brought us a complimentary pretzel. It was the star of the show from presentation to taste I would recommend anyone to try it. The bathrooms are unisex. By the time I needed to use it the restaurant was crowded and so it needed to be serviced. The stall I utilized had a strong urine smell and needed a proper cleaning. Management might consider placing air fresheners in each stall to at least give the illusion of cleanliness. This restaurant raised the bar for hospitality! The service was top notch as well as the food and atmosphere. If you have not tried this place I highly suggest that you do. It is a 100 out of 10 establishment for NYC!
