It's easily one of the better smashburgers around--juicy patty, delicious sauce, grilled onions, pickles and a soft bun. The burgers are on the smaller side (not White Castle small, but my daughter usually eats two!), but at $6.50 for a single patty cheeseburger, it's a OK value. Don't skip the fries--they are crispy, delicious, and a generous portion for the price. Quick, easy, and fast! The staff was friendly, welcoming, and easygoing. Fast-casual vibe that feels a bit more low-key than standard fast-food joints. There is a small number of seats inside (stool seating) plus a couple of high tops tables outside.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha…read more Oh wait. You mean, you weren't joking? Okay. Let's recap. I got a sponsored ad for Holy Burger. One of our burger go-to's recently closed, and I was willing to give it a shot. Though they seem to have a few outposts, I'm always one to support a mom-and-pop as opposed to larger names. This was my first time ordering. It will be my only time. This review is based on delivery. For over $60 (before tip), I was expecting something... else I guess. Mediocre burger? Check Slightly better than okay fries? Check Small Chopped chicken with cheese? Check Combo with like five or six fries? Check A shot glass of "cola" that comes with the combo? Check. Nothing memorable, and I'm still hungry. Also I ordered a double smash burger, not only have I had better, their "onion smash" had like one sliver of onions on it. Guess I was expecting an Oklahoma style onion burger, so massively disappointing. Save your money and go anywhere else. I seriously have no idea how this place has 4 stars and above all, is still in business. Nothing like pricing out the neighborhood and any decent places for the residents,

Immediately did an online search as I rounded the corner onto CPW and yes, holy cow! Burgers, chicken, hot dogs, fries! And the kicker is it's all Halal. We ordered all of those things. They did get one thing wrong: we ordered wings but they sent tenders (or boneless wings...which taste the same to me). We did order the wings a couple weeks later on our second try. They're very spicy. Burgers were fine, fries were fantastic (crispy, well seasoned). Fine choice when you're hankering for standard American grill foods and some delicious fries. Prices are good but delivery and other fees are outrageous. Our recent order of two burgers, wings, one small fries came to $69 after taxes, fees, and tip.

Usually that would mean that service is faster as the staff are walking out of the kitchen, but the service here was unbearably slow. We had to crane our heads to get our orders taken, to find someone to give us our bill, and to ask about our order. We ordered a drink (the second drink was sold out and my friend was uninterested in other options) and two appetizers and the drink came first, followed by a twenty minute wait for calamari. The calamari was probably the thinnest squid in the ocean and looked like shoestring fries, but the sauce it came in was delicious. There were approximately three zucchini sticks and four peppers in the calamari, which is on par with many restaurants, but less bang for your buck. It eventually became clear after another 10 min wait that our truffle fries were nowhere to be seen, and since we had to leave for our dinner reservation soon we struggled to flag a server, who then told us that they never put in our fries order. We obviously did not ask them to start making it for us, instead asking for the bill and then leaving. I wish I liked this place more than I did, but the service and staff here were so slow and hard to flag down it felt like we spent our entire meal looking around.

I was back at this restaurant a while ago, having previously eaten at their own location, which was…read moreloud and a bit too dark, almost feeling more like a gastropub than a Southern spot. By comparison, the new one is much better and much more fitting, while still being moderately loud but not earsplitting, presumably due to both the ceilings being a lot higher and the tables being more spaced apart. It's also a lot brighter, with plenty of mirrors on the wall and larger tables. As mentioned by most others, the portions here are rather massive for NYC, even in comparison to some diners and delicatessens, which makes the prices pretty reasonable. Our large group went here for something I rarely do: brunch. The servers were reasonably overwhelmed, but still friendly. Knowing how big the portions are, I only ordered the $22 Spicy Chicken Sandwich, which is typically served with pepper jack cheese, crispy onions, and hot sour pickles on a home-baked brioche bun. I did something I rarely do, which was ask for a substitution. In this case, it was cheddar instead of pepper jack, and it was obliged. The sandwich was quite large and a bit difficult to pick up, as it was pretty messy, but the flavor was nice. The chicken was juicy, the batter was pretty light, and there was a load of crispy onions. The pickles added a bit of sour crunch and a bit of heat, and the bun did just well enough to keep it all together. Overall, it was tasty. In terms of other dishes, there were a ton. I had one of the many tasty Deviled Eggs for $15, served with pickled mustard seed, smoked paprika, and pickle chips. From the same appetizer section, I particularly enjoyed the $13 Okra & Chilies, made from smoked & pickled okra, red pepper flakes, and scallion. I liked the smokiness, and the okra had some good grill marks, with this being the lightest dish on the table, outside of the Pickle Sampler someone else got. If you're looking to have a heart attack, I would order the decent $19 Poutine. Featuring fries smothered in brown gravy, cheese, and a hollandaise drizzle, I would compare it more to disco fries or other forms of loaded fries. This was due to the lack of cheese curds and the style of gravy. Outside of the comically massive portion, it's fine. In terms of other mains, a few had the two types of Smothered Chicken, either with sausage or mushrooms, for $24. Someone else ordered the non-spicy version of the same sandwich I got. Finally, another got the gigantic $24 Chicken & Waffles, consisting of buttermilk fried chicken, a golden waffle, house maple butter, and powdered sugar. There was also another entree, but I don't remember the details. I preferred this experience a lot more than the previous time and would recommend them for brunch, at least. Just come very hungry.

This restaurant has a RACIST employee who treated customers differently based on their race. I…read moreexperienced clear racial discrimination today at another location. The Black male employee at the checkout counter did NOT greet me (Asian) at all. But he said "welcome welcome" to Spanish/Hispanic guest and "hello" to White and other non-Asian guests. When I called him out, he responded "I am a racist?" without denying the behavior. This is systematic racial discrimination targeting Asian customers across multiple 7th Street Burger locations. Asian customers receive NO greeting, while White, Spanish/Hispanic, and other non-Asian customers receive warm greetings. This made me feel deeply disrespect. All customers should receive equal service regardless of their race. I expect the management to investigate these employees and provide anti-discrimination training to staff. I will not be returning until this is addressed. Others should be aware of this discriminatory treatment.

Maison Pickle AGAIN?! YEEEEAAAAAA WE BACK!!…read more First time was for pleasure. This time we came for business... which somehow turned out to be even more pleasure than the first time. For those who don't know, I film a food show on Instagram called #YummiesOnGummies, where I take a bunch of edibles and go enjoy some serious culinary delights. And let me tell you, Maison Pickle understood the assignment. Second time at the big MP, and we started with the pull-apart bread -- the herb & butter edition. OHHHHH MY GOD. It's actually better than the honey butter one, and that's saying A LOT because the honey butter had me moist. And I gotta shout out the manager Aaron and our incredible server Sarah. When I tell you they made me feel like my name was on the front of the restaurant, THEY SHOWED THE FUCK OUT. Hospitality at its finest. Made us feel right at home. Now... BACK TO THE FOOD. That MAC & CHEESE?! I need that shit again RIGHT NOW. So creamy. So much flavor. So silky. So cheesy. Please bless the chef's hands because somebody in that kitchen is doing God's work. Then came the Double Patty Melt, which is EASILY one of the best burgers I've ever had. That burger was so fire I raw-dogged it. No ketchup. No au jus. No distractions. Just meat, cheese, bun and BLISS. Then we got into the Chick Toast and that fried chicken was SO DAMN GOOD. I wish I could travel back in time, find the first slave who ever fried that bird and tell him, "Look what you've sparked!! Your suffering was not unnoticed." The brioche French toast, crispy bacon and house-made syrup had me questioning my entire life. Like... what the fuck took me so long to try this?! WHY DID I WAIT?! Then came this banging-ass French onion dip sandwich that just hugged my tongue the second I bit into it. And because apparently we hadn't done enough damage, we finished the day with a 24-layer Pumpkin Spice Latte Carrot Cake that had me feeling like a blonde-haired white woman named Lisa on a crisp autumn morning. I shall be back to Maison Pickle. And yes, I shall post yet ANOTHER review Because I LOVE that place

I'm also a fan of the burgers and absolutely love the charred broccoli. The fries, however? Tragically disappointing. And this is coming from a serious French fry enthusiast. Somehow, they consistently arrive cold, bone-dry, and tasting like they've been sitting around contemplating life for far too long. The desserts are another story altogether--severely overpriced for what you actually get. Recently, though, they made me an absolutely PERFECT BLT. Everything was right. No complaints. No notes. Just BLT bliss. But therein lies the problem: consistency. My happiness with an order seems to depend entirely on who is working in the kitchen. I recently had the Grilled Chipotle Chicken, and it absolutely sucked. The Turkey Burger? Loved it once, hated it another time. The Turkey BLT Baguette has been equally unpredictable--delicious one day and disappointing the next. Still, despite the culinary roulette, this remains one of my go-to spots for food delivery. When they get it right, they REALLY get it right. I just wish I knew who was cooking on the good days so I could check their schedule before placing my order!
