I said, I'm calling a thrift store and I don't know if this is who you are. He reply Yes. I said as a business you should say hello this the thrift shop to confirm to people you are a business. He replies, you called me! Rude; after I just explained why he needs to act like a professional and reference the business. I tell him I'm not from Hayward and willing to drive there if you would do a quick look to see if you have any CD players and cassette players for a stereo system, not a boom box. He said he thinks he has some. I explain I am willing to drive if he has some, but don't want to if he doesn't. He say, yes I think we have some. I ask will you please confirm and take a look. He says, I'm pretty sure we have them. I ask how much are they. He says they'er not much. I ask again, would you please check and let me know how much. I see these in other thrift shops for $15-20 dollars. He says his aren't that cheap. I ask how much are yours. He replies more that that. I said that doesn't help me. For Pete's sake, you are not working with me at all on anything I ask. You don't let people know your a business when you answer the phone and argue with them about I called you etc. He is not willing to walk over to physically see if he has a cd or cassette player and not willing to tell me how much he charges. I push him again for a price. He says the CD player and cassette players are over $80 each. I say, that's why I'm asking. I don't want to pay that much. He says his have been gone over and work. I said that doesn't matter to me. What ever shop I buy from, they will take it back if it doesn't work, even at $15. He says I knew you didn't want to spend any money that's why I didn't tell you. I said when someone asks for a price, simply tell them. Don't make drama out of it, that's insulting. Then he hangs up on me. Ask yourself, do you want to be treated this way? Shame on him. He wanted to argue with me about everything. I called him back, of course he didn't take the call. I left him a messaging saying he just earned a negative one star on yelp. You brought it on with you bad attitude. I don' know what position Roberto or Jesus or smoother man? has (answering machine message says she is his daughter leaving the recording. I'm assume it's his business.) It's been along time since I've run into a rude business owner. I've only left one other Yelp review and it was 5 starts. Sorry Roberto, you deserve this review to be read by others.

He said no, he didn't have anything as far as trading cards go, but he suggested some other places to try. Alan Moore getting his 2nd wind and having fun with comic books again. Coup D'etat #1 Written By Ed Brubaker; Art By Jim Lee, #2 Written By Micah Ian Wright; Interesting event storyline where The Authority seizes control of the US Government. This TPB is out of print and since Micah Ian Wright was fired by DC and blacklisted from comics for stolen valor everything he's written has stayed out of print. The Authority story with art by Jim Lee that DC will probably never ever reprint in our lifetime. And some FCBD Greatest America Superhero, Superman, ect. Great store and great customer service.

A bottle opener handmade by an artist which had the essence of African mud cloth design, Indigenous America, Japan and the Art Deco period, called our name. I've been to the store in San Mateo many times and I finally made it to the big store! The store is pretty large and has a lot of keychains, plushies, figurines, Gundam Gunpla, and blind boxes (my kryptonite). I got a Nendoroid blind box (!) of Fate Stay Night. These figures are way more expensive than normal blind boxes but Nendoroids are always very high quality so it's fine! I saw a lot of figures that were really cool and I would consider getting them if I had a good display mechanism at my house haha. They even had MY BOY Heero Yuy from Gundam Wing which is quite rare to see merchandise of!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. I was on the hunt for a good pair of jeans and…read morepossibly some dresses when the rack on display near the front porch caught my eyes. There were so many flowing, beautiful dresses flapping back and forth in the wind, just calling my name and asking to be tried on. I stepped in and was excited to see the vast collections of gently used items, including sneakers and dress shoes. I started with the jean stack and was excited to see that all the jeans were $20! You can't beat that price! I had to try a few pairs to find the right ones, but I was able to find a good pair from Old Navy that was 100% cotton! The store has many drawers with a vast assortment of buttons, pins, earrings rings and other doodads that I wish I had more time to browse. Other customers were happily digging through the drawers and happy with their finds as well. The lady at the counter was very friendly, welcoming and informed me that I could try in as many things as I liked in the curtained dressing room in the back. This was the only downside. The dressing room is a small storage room with a very little turn radius. I had to ask my husband to hold the curtain closed as I dressed and undressed because it did not close fully and I felt exposed. Overall, I definitely recommend this place if you want gently used, well priced clothing without breaking the bank.
