This is my go to nailshop in the area. I've been coming here for a couple years. The ladies here are really nice. They offer me water or tea when I come in. They are more on the pricier side but it is so worth it. I'm simple but whenever I ask for something different they have no problem with what I ask. They also play music while you are enjoying your service. read more

Hmmm, I had to think about this one because Kelly was great, her sister was ill and had to cancel other appointments but she didn't want to sacrifice the quality of service to her customers, which is admirable considering the rest of the industry is a "turn and burn" attitude to get $$. She worked diligently on my gel mani and regular pedi - by that I mean, she really took care of the cuticles. I was happy overall and I was able to tip on the card; she explained that it was the previous owner's sign to tip in cash. I appreciate efficiency and did notice that the chairs didn't provide any other function aside from a slight eccentric feel and she told me that she felt badly a customer complained about the new set up. What people fail to understand is that new owners can change the way things are set up. I would probably return just because of the care that Kelly provided. Price is higher than my regular place but it's closer to home. read more

My daughter wanted a manicure before her 10th birthday party, so I called several places and ultimately chose this one. Lia, the manicurist, was extremely professional, patient, and gentle with my daughter. Emma had never been to a nail salon before, so she was overwhelmed by the many colors and designs. However, Lia was amazing! She didn't rush us to choose colors and even helped us ensure that we were happy with the final results. There were a few times when we had to remove colors and redo the nails, but Lia was patient and accommodating throughout. We will definitely come back again! Lia, thank you so much for hosting Emma! She loved her nails and was so happy to have found your place! read more

Called ahead on a Saturday afternoon and made an appointment for my friend and me for an hour later. We were immediately taken care of once we arrived. Their collection of gel colors is HUGE, and nicely organized so that you are able to see what brand each color is. I appreciated that they were also straightforward in letting me know which colors were true to the color of the swatches and which may show up differently when painted on actual nails. The business is family owned and the workers are all very friendly. We came in near closing time, but Kelly really took her time to make sure everything was perfect and to my liking. One thing to note is that they do charge to remove old gel polish (I think $10), and I ended up paying $45 + tip for my gel manicure. Overall had a really great experience here and I'll definitely be back in the future. read more

They cut my nail and skin when taking off my old acrylics. I decided to not get new acrylics to avoid an infection on that finger. I asked to have them soaked off, she said there is no need. She was trying to rush. I recommend asking them to remove old acrylics By soaking them and not using an nail to remove your old acrylics if you decide to try this place. Ratings - Expertise: 1 Station cleanliness: 2 (she did not wipe down area after last customer but only put down a new cloth. Not Covid safe. Bella gave me the worst pedicure I have ever had. She spent 10-15 minutes on me. My heels were left with skin hanging off them and bone dry. She physically hurt me as well and didn't even apologize. I'm not sure why this place has good reviews. I gave her the chance to improve customer satisfaction, but she didn't offer any improvement. read more

My hands and feet were in definite need of some pampering and Metallic Nails definitely did the trick! I had received a gift certificate for this place for my birthday so I decided to give this place a try to get my nails bachelorette ready! This place is under new ownership by two sisters, Kelly and Bella. The chairs for the pedi is really luxe and fancy looking. They are definitely trying to make this place have a more luxurious feel. There is also big flat screen tv on the wall playing various music videos both old and current music. Kelly did my nails and she is very sweet, takes her time, and makes you feel comfortable the whole time. She gave a very nice massage on my legs and feet. So good that I almost feel asleep! My fiancé got a pedi with Bella and he enjoyed the pampering just as well. They have a nice selection of gel colors that has a matching non gel polish color if you don't want gel on your feet. Their prices are pretty reasonable and the service is excellent! The sisters are revamping this place, definitely for the better! Will be back soon! read more

Beautiful gel manicure by Bella! I moved from San Francisco and have had a terrible time finding someone that is neat, sterile, and thorough! She is just that! Their prices went up, but it's not to bad. Gel mani was $30 now $35. Eyebrows were $12, now $15. Very reasonable pricing for the quality of work! Thank you so much Bella! read more

This review is for the service I got done, but I also feel compelled to give a PSA regarding that poor girl with damaged nails after an acrylic removal service done at this place. I would like to note that the owners response to that customer is BEYOND RUDE and they clearly have no empathy, I feel compelled to remind the owner what a PROFESSIONAL SHOULD DO. I am a professional in the field as well, just dont dedicate much time since I have a different career now. Maybe these people don't like or enjoy their jobs that much or they received horrible training. Either way I hope they learn from this. ANY PROFESSIONAL NAIL TECH will tell you it is a BIG NO NO TO RIP OFF existing ACRYLIC EXTENSIONS! "its the popular way'' IS NO EXCUSE TO EVER DO THIS ON ANY CLIENT. Especially when there is a clear picture of the damage done to the clients nails. The owners response is a BS response that a lot of nail techs use to convince clients to think it's normal to feel pain so it makes their job ''easier" (its a short cut and what they are doing is wrong). Whether the nail tech takes a plastic tip and slides it in between your natural nail and the acrylic, or they take the cuticle clippers and try to pry the acrylic off, is a big NO, NO!!! NO IT IS NOT OK TO FEEL PAIN DURING WHAT IS SUPPOSE TO BE A RELAXING SERVICE. LADIES!! NEVER EVER LET ANY NAIL-TECH TEAR YOUR EXTENSIONS you do not know the many of times I've had to almost be rude to a tech for trying to continue to rip off my acrylics. YOU NEED TO DEMAND A SOAK OFF and they have to PROPERLY SOAK OFF not no 10mn BS YES, IT TAKES A LONG TIME but it is the ONLY AND PROPER WAY TO TAKE ACRYLICS OFF. Now for my review: I had a fill and they rushed through the service. Both girls seemed to be in a hurry to finish my job since I was their last appointment for the day. I had acrylic 3D flowers added, however they fell off withing the next morning, no biggy did not care for them much. They did a great job correcting all the mistakes a previous tech had done, how ever the techs drill slipped and hurt my finger, she apologized and I brushed it off since it did not hurt that much. When I got home I did notice what looks like damage from that drill slip. overall my experience was meh, I will continue to look for other professionals that I can trust to maintain the integrity of my natural nails, without damaging them. read more

I don't think I've ever had a better manicure than when I can here! She really took her time to ensure the nail art details matched my reference photo just right. I would definitely come here again for nail art designs. read more

I've never been to a nail salon that was so rude and extremely aggressive. After asking her the prices for a new set she was giving rude remarks if I want to go check the prices at other salons (mind you money wasn't the issue). She started shaping my nails so aggressively that she cut me two of fingers to the point there was blood dripping from my finger and never apologizes instead tells me I'm making her nervous. I didn't say anything to be polite. She sprays alcohol and oil on my fingers and it starts burning and she has the audacity to be upset at me for saying my finger burns. She did a fresh new set in 20 mins and rushed the entire process. I'm definitely never going to go here again. I don't recommend this place anyone. Getting your nails done is suppose to be a spa like experience and this was nothing close to that. read more

They took all precautions for COVID. All the nail techs were wearing masks and I had my temperature checked upon arrival. It was $30 for a regular pedicure and $65 for a full set of acrylics. In total with tip it came out to $115. I would recommend the nail shop to get a bigger assortment of colors for gel. The nail tech who did my nails was very kind and she was so thorough! She pushed back my cuticles, and made sure every nail was filed to perfection before painting them. It was a bit expensive but I think it was worth it. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Fist time coming to this nail salon to get the dipping powder. After two days of getting my nails done, two nails broke. I messaged the owner and she told me to come back to get them redone. I've already been to this place twice! One for a pedicure and for a manicure! I've been with Kelly for both, and I love her! She is very sweet and for someone who's very indecisive like myself, she gave great recommendations on what I should do! The salon itself is very modern, chic, and very clean! I've had a hard time finding somewhere in the Bay Area that does dip powder manicures and that does them correctly. Metallic Nails is the first of five places I've tried that did them and did them WELL. They only had pink and white (which I opted for) and are waiting to get more colors but in the mean time can do a dip clear coat with a layer of any gel color on top which they say has been working great. I definitely plan to come back, they were sweet and thorough and the pricing was fair. read more

If I could give ZERO STAR, I would. 100% the worst nail salon I've been to!!! The lady who did my nails removed my acrylic nails using acrylic tips to brutallyRIP THEM OFF! First of all, I asked an acrylic removal not a IM GOING TO RIP OFF YOUR NAIL BED AND MAKE YOU BLEED type of savage way & they even charge $$ for it. Huh??? I've NEVER heard of or have experienced a professional nail tech would do such a thing. I asked her to stop since it was hurting so bad but she was in her lala land and ignored me. She was oddly calm when she rip them off by force & she was not bothered at all when sheNDAs my middle finger was bleeding. NEVER ONCE ASK IF I WAS OKAY. It somehow looked like she enjoys her customer suffer in pain. MOST OF MY NAIL BED CAME OFF & WAS BLEEDING And i asked her if this is the only way she removes acrylic nails for her customers. She said no. OKAY SO WHY ME???? The whole process was rushed & very unprofessional. I didn't get her name but she was also the front desk lady for y'all reference. IF YOU DONT WANT TO HAVE A PAINFUL EXPERIENCE WHILE GETTING YOUR NAILS DONE & DONT WANT TO BE TORTURED then PLEASE AVOID COMING TO THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! P.S: The other lady who did my mom's nail was on an another level of RUDENESS the whole time. That lady was UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE!!!! Again, the job she did was sloppy as you can see in the picture I uploaded. read more

I got a gel manicure here last night, and I'm pretty impressed. My nails are still growing from a really bad manicure job I had previously, so they're still kinda short. One of the ladies (owner) did a really great job with my manicure. She was super friendly, really patient with me, and did a thorough job cleaning my nails. She pained my nails exactly the way I like, at the cuticle and the whole nail painted. It was $30 for the gel mani, which is kinda pricey, but I'm hoping that this will last me a while. Will definitely be back! Thank you! read more

I was able to get a same day appointment. The one star is for the beautician cut my finger cuticles too deep and bled. I thought it was scary the way she was doing as she was cutting the cuticles SO fast. I have been getting gel nails done for many years and this is the first time I got cut with blood. It is unacceptable. She just said sorry and that my skin in the area is thin, and put some kind of solution to stop bleeding. She also did not greet me with a hello or any welcome when I sit down. I later found out her name is Bella. read more

Friendliness - 5 stars Cleanliness - 5 stars Overall - 5! My friend and I came in around 5:15 and they happily took us. We were pleased with the color selection - I especially liked the array of OPI and Essie colors. Some highlights: -Got a pedicure and Sam was very attentive. When he noticed that two of my toes had been hurt by poor shoes, he was careful with them. -Best part about getting a guy to do your nails is the massage is never a disappointment. I've had some massages where they are so soft it's more like a light rub. -My feet also aren't very calloused so he was also careful to not over do it with the pumice - no one ever really cares and they just scrub off my good skin! -My friend and I went on a whim and so I was wearing skinny jeans and as you could imagine were hard to pull down at the end of the pedicure. After me telling him it was ok that I could do it myself several times, he helped me yank them down. Ha!! Will return and recommend! read more
