It took me a while me for me to find someone who can do a butterfly wings along with a cat eye design for my short nails. Long time ago I had a nail technician who was able to do it but unfortunately the nail shop got shut down and I was unable to find her anyways at my previous job refused to do it because they said my nails is way too short. WRONG I had it done plenty times before with no issues anyways then I found this place and Jenny was the one who did my nails and she did a phenomenal job. Finally I found someone who can do unique designs also she very talented. Thanks Jenny read more

I started coming here in 2025 and haven't been disappointed. The place is very clean, wide selection of colors and very accommodating staff. All the nail techs do a great job. They take walk-ins but making an appointment is recommended especially if you have a specific nail tech to do your nails Personally, I like Sophia. I got my nails done by Jasmine and they held on for so long that another nail tech here was having a difficult time removing them for a new set. Jasmine took around 1 hour which I thought was fast, especially with how tiny the beads are. I love the sheer gel colors that they offer, if you like sheer colors please try them out and ask if you can swatch it on your nails first because they might look different on the swatch compared to your nails. read more

Got my gel x nails done on Sunday 2/1.Lin which 4 of my nails had small diamonds that were completely fallen off by the next day which not even 24 hours later. Aside from that my middle finger nail as seen in photo completely fell off I didn't even notice it until I was typing and I was so confused as to how it fell off since I hadn't jammed my fingers or anything. Called them Monday to let them know what had happened and they of course were understandable and told me to come back in. Linda I believe was the lady who originally did my nails and I had asked for her but I'm assuming she was off on Monday's or already gone. Needless to say it was "fixed" and the lady who fixed it offered to replace all the diamonds but I refused since it wasn't going to last. Yesterday while showering and removing my shampoo my index nail bent back and came off . I decided to remove all of them because it's honestly a waste of time having to go back and forth to a salon in which should have gotten it right the first time. I decided to remove all of my gel x nails that took me a total of 10 minutes to remove. I realized these nails would have NEVER lasted me not even a full week. While removing them it felt as if I had press on nails that come with that double sided glue that you can purchase at the store. To say that I am disappointed is a complete understatement and although I know that they would have redid my nail but who has the time to go back to the nail salon every few days? I sure don't and shouldn't have to. I don't even wash dishes without using gloves and I had previously used gel x nails and they lasted me 3 weeks without any issues. read more

I came in for an acrylic refill today and I was very disappointed. First they cut me while filing when I already told them it was hurting me. They made the acrylic layer so thick, making it very hard to work around. Then they effortlessly did the french, and when I asked for them to clean it up, she went to another lady and was arguing about how to do it. Finally, I told her that the thumb was very crooked and they told me that was just my thumb. As a first timer, I really was disappointed with this place. read more

I came in as a first time customer to get my hands and feet done. I was assisted by Lily. She was very nice and attentive. She made sure that what I requested was exactly like in the photos I showed her. While I was getting my pedicure done, she told me since I was a first time customer I'd get $ off of the pedicure service I chose. (This isn't the con) anyway while I was getting my manicure done, she also mentioned if I wanted to get my eyebrows done. I told her I'd come back. Once she was done with my nails she told me to follow her to get my eyebrows done. I was caught off guard but followed her anyway. Once it was time to pay she wrote down the prices for the three services. For the pedicure service it was $45 she charged me $55 for the nails I don't remember and for my eyebrows it was $21. Overall I loved coming here and my experience there. However, I felt lied to. Other than that, I have no complaints but next time I will speak up if I do not want something done. read more

Good service, great massage chair, good pedicure. Me and my bff went here to get our basic pedis done. We had fun. They even fixed my nail after my bff messed it up while I was trying to take as selfie. The only thing I would recommend is to slow down the pedis, it felt very rushed. Our pedis were done efficiently in 20minutes but I think it would have been a better first time experience for us if they had taken more time to do each step thoroughly. read more

Went here with a friend today. Was pretty happy to because it's been a while since I got my nails done but that's where the joy ends... I just wanted to get a regular manicure. The guy with the black long sleeved shirt with the skull on it, who was assigned to doing my nails seemed nice but the job on my nails was very rushed. I understand that my nails were short to begin with but the whole thing just turned out SO BAD. He barely had my nails in the water for less than 30 seconds before taking the cuticle cutter to them. And went at it pretty rough (and only on the sides a little). Also he didn't paint the entirety of my nails. Unfortunately I didn't totally realize till after I was escorted to the drying station. And after they were done drying I looked at them more and saw how truly bad they were. Not only did they look half assed but the clean coat that he put on top- that he didn't even put totally on the color part- turned the deep red berry color that I had asked for to a brownish shade! I didn't want to cause a scene because technically it's not the end of the world, it just sucks that I then paid $20 for something that could be done much better. Sadly I think I'll just remove the polish today because it just bums me out. As you can see from the photos , this job is not good at all. And unfortunately I'll not be back nor recommend. Made an appointment for two pedicures at 12:30, showed up a few minutes early, waited to be sat, wife gets seated and then I do. She gets her pedicure going right away. I end up waiting for over 20 minutes and there was no heads up on when they'd get started on my feet so I left. That was an absolutely ridiculous experience and one of the worst I've ever had. It was so bad that I'm writing this from their parking lot. This review took more time to write than the amount of time they spent on my feet. read more

My pet peeve is when nail salons do NOT respect their customers time. I understand that things happen and people run late, but waiting over 25 minutes is ridiculous. I called for a gel pedi/full set and was told to come at 10:15am. When I got there (5 minutes early), they were "too busy" to accommodate the services at the same time. Fine, no problem. But I would expect that they start on time and not waste my time. I could have been doing other errands in the meantime. I waited in the pedi chair for OVER 25 MINUTES for someone to even begin service. With that said, they were very apologetic when they finally got to me. My pedicure turned out great and my nails looked great too!! I even referred my friend who went to get her nails done later that day. Full set was $50 and Tina did an awesome job. Pedicure (gel) was $38 if I remover correctly and the tech was really great too. All in all, it's questionable if I return to this location. The service and quality of work was good, but I absolutely hate that they wasted my time. read more

I got my nails done there by a gentleman. I don't know his name. I asked for the powder set, I don't think he knew how to do it. So he was dipping my acrylic set into the actual powder. I didn't say nothing because I wasn't sure maybe it was a new thing they did. We'll anyways they looked good but he didn't put enough gel on my set they are very thin. And have broken almost instantaneously I just got them done 2 days ago. 50 bucks down the drain. I definitely do not recommend this place or at least his services. What a waste of money. And my time. It's been less than a week and at least half my toe nail paint has chipped. It's really frustrating to know I spent 40$ on something that lasted less than 7 full days such as this. I don't get my nails done often so I can't say this is normal but all the times I've gotten a pedicure the paint has stayed on AT LEAST 3 WEEKS. Even when I paint my own toe nails the paint last so long without chips like this. At first I thought it was bc it was white paint and likely thin, but chips have never happened tp me before when I used to get french tips. Very sad about this. Mind you this is after I came back the next day bc I called and said there were chipping on my big toes after the first night read more

Sadly, I will not be coming back to this place. I came to do my nails (French tip) with Lisa. Barely a week in my tips were turning brown, and the paint was cracking! I had to wear it like this to the event I was going to And TO My job. The last time I addressed this problem Christina said it was the heat from flat ironing my hair. This time it's my fault bc of "chemicals I'm using". (No I did not use any heat or hair dye in my hair and I don't tan!) when I texted Christina how can I fix it she said come in and so I did. Long overdue review but Sapphire Beauty Lounge has easily become my go-to for gelx since Jan 2024…read more I come here about once a month and always leave feeling more than satisfied with my nails. I usually go to Kate or Nikki, but I've also had my nails done by Betty and Amy as well. You can tell that everyone here is very thorough and don't rush and my sets last for a long time and personally, I've never experienced any nails breaking or have been dissatisfied with the service or results. I also love that I don't feel pressured for a certain service or style like I have at other salons and they've even recommended certain colors or add-ons to enhance the vision I'm going for - whether it be a slightly different color to prevent fading or a color that might pop better against my skin. I'm not usually a design girly but here I feel like I can trust Kate and Nikki to try something different that maybe I don't have a specific vision for. I'm not one for super long nails either but the short almond suits my nail beds really well and because of how the staff does my nails, I feel like it isn't bothersome until I need to get a new set. The aesthetic of the salon is super clean and bright, making it feel relaxing and luxurious at the same time. I can't say enough good things about this place…read more LOCATION: Centrally located on the border of Fremont and Union City on Alvarado Blvd. It's in a strip mall with lots of available parking. SERVICE: Customer service is great. Mimi was a little quiet, but very sweet and extremely talented. She listened to my requests and checked in to ensure I liked what she was doing, before moving forward with all nails. Owner is also very kind - was open and direct telling me to save time and money when I had requested cat's eye on my toes and said to just use chrome as my toenails were so tiny. LOL. Do NOT sleep on that Vietnamese coffee if they offer it to you! It's absolutely delicious! I'd go back for that alone! QUALITY: My first time there, I was the happiest I'd been about how nice my nails turned out in YEARS! It was a pink chrome with French tips and looked so elegant! Received so many compliments at the wedding I attended and for weeks after. AND, due to crazy schedule I didn't get back to them for 4 weeks and both nails and toes still looked great, no chips - just a bit grown out, of course. Went back last Friday and could not be happier with my pink cats eye nails...WOW!! They're mesmerizing! Now, it has been a little time consuming when I go - but they make it worth the wait. Last week, they had small staff due to graduations. So hoping next time will be a little faster. BUT - again, worth the wait! Just don't go when you're rushed, you'll only frustrate yourself. Other than that - run, don't walk, if you want a fair price for gorgeous nails!

For someone who was once afraid to get manicures and pedicures, the technicians here made me feel so comfortable, offering coffee and tea the moment that I walked in. They do not rush trying to finish and really take the time to ensure that the end product is what the customer wants. I usually get both a pedicure and a manicure, both are priced decently. In addition, they open early and take walk ins, highly recommend anyone that is in the area or even out of the area. So worth the time and happy with the results!

We did the same thing last year here as well and unfortunately I was disappointed with my service both times. I got one of the older women both times (I didn't ask her name as I was unhappy and just wanted to get out of there). The paint job is nice, nothing wrong with that. But this is a huge treat and part of the service they offer is a 4 minute massage. Both times this woman just rubbed my legs the entire time (after she wasted almost a minute drying my gel). I work on my feet and looked forward to get my feet rubbed even if it was just a couple minutes but unfortunately after paying $106 for both pedicures I didn't even get to enjoy the full service. It felt extremely rushed even with absolutely no one else in there and having to say something about not getting the full service. Everyone else was very nice and the atmosphere is clean enough. I had a really disappointing experience at Amazing Nails. I went in with my friend for a pedicure and manicure, but it turned into a complete waste of time. It seemed like they assigned me a trainee who clearly didn't know how to do a proper pedicure. The service took 1 hour and 40 minutes just for a basic pedicure, which is way too long. Because of that, I didn't even have time to get my manicure done. On top of that, she cut my nails way too short, which was uncomfortable and not what I asked for. Worse, she actually took off too much skin during the pedicure, and it's now hurting. That should never happen during a basic service. The nail polish application was poorly done and looked messy. Overall, the whole experience was very unpleasant and unprofessional. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place if you're expecting quality service or trained staff. read more

Lisa has always treated us well, but all the other ladies who work here are very nice too. I got a pedicure ($23) and got my go-to white toes. I hadn't seen Lisa in literally half a year, but when I sat down she said, "White toes again today?". She remembers that I only get white toes haha! She is so personable, and it warms my heart to see her interactions with her regular clients -- they are so loyal to her. I have been a client before in the past and they aren't the best out there but they were always my go to whenever I need to get like a quick you know full set. I'll go there before an event or whatever or like some celebration, I'd go there you know just to get it done real quick. It's in the neighborhood is by my house, but this time around my friend had paid for it and she had to leave early due to the fact that she was finished already and her set was $50. Well they charged me $85 and she took five dollars off so she gave me the whole set for $75 dollars which to me is still a lot because my friend had to leave and she already prepaid everything after my friend left she just completely stopped doing everything that you're supposed to do. None of the steps were correct. She have asked everything you could see. She didn't even cut my cuticles. She didn't prep the nail. She didn't file the nail. She didn't shape the nail she basically just like like really I could've glued some nails on that looked better than these and right now they're feeling wobbly my cuticles. You can see a hangnail right there on the right hand or like all the glue is all over me she, my nails are still dirty underneath she did me dirty because it was already prepaid. I understand it was late and I was the last customer, but that's not right. This is still your work and I still am a paid customer and that wasn't fair just because it was prepaid. She either had something personal against me. I know she was tired but still this is your work and really though I really feel like if I did not pay first, she would've done a better job and that to me was disrespectful and a slap in the face and unprofessional or she just isn't that great which I don't believe she said she's been doing it for 10 years and I don't believe that 10 years your work would look so bad. I could've glued some press on on my fingers and have them look way better than these disappointing. It's unfortunate because I really really really loved that little hole in the wall nail salon that was near my house that I always would go to every now and then $85 for this lady you're nuts you're disrespectful you robbed my friend.

Rather than utilizing a curing lamp, the technician instructed me to air-dry the regular polish. Within 24 hours, air bubbles and premature peeling became visible. Given the rapid deterioration and the pricing structure, I do not recommended for clients seeking a standard manicure with regular polish.
