Q Nails is top tier quality for very reasonable prices and the best nail shop in Fremont!…read more I can safely say this because I have had $80-$100 Russian manicures, $50-$60 gel manicures, but no where does it quite like Q Nails. I am rough with my nails and constantly cleaning, using chemicals, etc, but somehow, their method and products last. I can go 5-6 weeks between gel manicures with absolutely no chipping or peeling. Tammy and Tina are the main reason for my review. They are both so friendly and provide excellent customer service as well as services. I leave here satisfied EVERY. TIME. They never rush my indecisive self when I'm picking colors and always offer to swatch the 2-3 that I'm deciding between so I can see it on my nails. Q Nails is very clean and I love how intimate this nail shop is compared to those that have a dozen chairs and tables. They have a special table with fans for your hands and feet to dry your polish quicker. Here, it is very clear that they focus on quality, rather than quantity. To avoid waiting, make an appointment. You will not be disappointed if you decide to come to Q Nails.

My mom and daughter come here too, so it's become our little family tradition. They offer a great variety of pedicure options, but my favorites are the lavender paraffin treatment and the one with the extra-long massage--so relaxing. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable for the quality of service they provide.

Customer service and nail services consistently lacks because they're too busy/rushed. Find another salon! There are plenty of other cute ones with the same snacks and drinks and they provide better service. I've found another and it's so much more relaxing than this place. This place has really gone downhill. I've been coming for about a year but my last few services just got worse and worse to where I refuse to come back. 3rd to last appt - I came at a busy time and felt like my nails were really rushed so I decided to try coming on a different day. 2nd to last appt - I got a gel pedicure and there were bubbles and the customer service felt rushed. I started to realize this is becoming the norm here. Last appointment - I had a scheduled appointment and I waited for 30+ minutes until I decided this wasn't relaxing or worth it any more so I left. After 25 mins of waiting, the front desk lady gave me a bowl to start soaking my hands and she said "they're coming soon." They never communicated an apology or explanation that this would be a delayed appointment. Normal courtesy from salons is to give a heads up if it's 10-15 mins late. I waited 30 minutes and just decided to leave. As I was walking out the front desk person asked if I wanted to reschedule, I said no thanks and she just sighed as I was walking out. Never got an apology til the end..

I was upsold and not told of the price increase. She said the paraffin was included in the manicure I chose, so I agreed. My hands were wet and I couldn't check the menu to make sure. (It was included in the more expensive manicure that I didn't choose.) My friend was upsold as well. Her gel mani/pedi was $110! She reminded them that she wanted only basic pedicure. Most nail places hand you a menu and when you tell the the service you want, that's what they give you. We felt scammed. When we tried to question their shady business ethic, they gave excuses and stamped extra punches in a card to "apologize". We won't be returning.

She did a very basic job. She barely did any work on my nails before starting powder and didnt even buff down the powder. No massage either. I was charged $50 for this and I would not pay more than $30 max for something like this. After i expressed concern that $50 is a lot especially for no acrylic nails and just painting my nails .... she started talking in Vietnamese to her coworker ( most likely talking crap lol ). Anyways i paid what she asked and a few dollars more for the tip but will never go back. Waste of money. A nurse makes $50/hr. You can see my photos below:
