Working in healthcare, my polish usually chipped within a week--but not here. My gel manicures lasted up to three weeks here! I was blown away, and that's what kept me coming back. These days, I get acrylics done about every three weeks. If you call ahead of time, they're very good with pretty much any time that works for you. They are incredibly meticulous--she pays attention to every detail, shaping the nails perfectly and keeping them thin and natural-looking. Daisy was the go to person for my wedding nails. When she does my pedicures, she'd smooth out my calluses with such care; my feet always looked and felt amazing afterward. On top of her skill, Daisy's one of the most patient and kind professionals I've met. I now bring my elderly mother with me--she can be a bit particular--and always gentle, letting her try multiple colors and making her feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. When I moved to Fremont I went to every nail Salon and I was not impressed. I only found this place because I wanted Starbucks. Thank God I found this place especially because it's less than ten minutes from me and the prices are good! I'm telling you it's hard to find a place that actually takes their time and really takes care of your nails. My nails look amazing all the time and they last long. How long? My coworker brought me here and I had my FIRST pedicure. Yes, my first pedicure! I never got one before because I never really needed or wanted one but my coworker said it is a must. She has been going here since high school and I was shocked. I recommended making an appointment as this place does get busy. We came Friday afternoon and they had walk ins and they got turned away because they are booked. The color selection is huge and honestly I could not choose. Since it is the summer, I thought to pick something on the pastel side. The service we chose was the deluxe. It includes exfoliation, hot wax peel, hot stone massage, trim, nail color. I felt bad because I feel like I don't have great feet and didnt take care of my feet. I garden, run, and do everything but take care of them. I was on a business trip when I split a nail vertically. I'm a guitar player and have been trying to grow them, and wanted to try and get avoid cutting the nail short again. I stopped by as a walk in and they took me right away. The technician applied a thin UV cured product and completely fixed my nail! She also shaped and filed it. I'm very impressed, looks like the original nail without the split! I decided to get a manicure since they were so friendly and skilled. The cuticle service was very nice, and I really liked the hand massage. I wanted to thank the staff for taking care of me! When I'm next in town I'll stop by for sure. Very relaxing! The girls here are super sweet and nice. My first visit here too. Let me just say that they have SO MANY COLORS HERE!! I think it took me quite some time to figure out what color I wanted to pick. She was able to do a regular fill and put the color on to my liking. I think I might have found my new shop! I then met the new owners and Anne was still there! As always, the pedicure I got from Anne was what I needed especially with how painful my ingrown nails have gotten since I stopped going to her regularly. Found this place on Yelp! Very close by and I'm feeling too lazy to drive far... All these nail salons are getting overpriced! I've stopped going to a few places that raised their prices, Yet didn't do anything differently... except stop scrubbing?! That is now extra? They all want to upsell you to a more expensive service. LOL I made the appointment for my daughter and I for noon, but they called me back to ask if 12:30 would work...which it did. I've been converted from Gel-Nail enthusiast, to a Dip Powder person! I've been going to City Nails for a while now and thought I'd like to try a new spot. I came across this location from a quick Google search. I gave them a quick call to gauge how busy it would be on a Saturday and especially during these strange COVID19 times. Anne answered the phone as was able to accept me visiting on such short notice! I arrived and saw each tech station had a glass screen separating clients from the nail tech, awesome. As clients left then went straight to work with sanitizing, spraying wiping down contact points, also awesome. I was greeted and sat down to wait for Anne, finishing up with her client. I was really excited to try the dip powder method and gave the color wheel of available shades. Not waiting much longer, Anne had me sit and she went straight to work. She was so sweet. She checked in with me about nail pressure, ensuring she wasn't hurting me (not used to that, so kind!), and was so quick and efficient. She even took the time to explain to me between the differences of acrylic, gel and the dip powder. For all you germaphobes, here's a big win, they DO NOT have you dip your nails into the container of color. If you were like me and Googled the dip powder method and found that scare-article saying some nail techs use the SAME container to dip clients fingernails in? Not here. Super plus! The whole process took about 45 mins, including setting with LED lights similar to the gel method. Honestly, I can't wait to come back and in the meantime, I'll monitor how my nails work out but now the results are so clean and brilliant! read more

First time returning since Covid and absolutely enjoyed the service. The call for appointment was quickly picked up and I managed to get a same day appointment for both mani and pedi. Ann and Anna both wore masks and were very attentive to my questions and how I feel about water temperature and everything. Price is still very reasonable just like before. Was expecting everything to become more expensive during this challenging time. And the most important of all- they are super detailed oriented and careful with the nail jobs. I walked in thinking just getting a basic gel and ended up getting the ombre dipping powder nails which Anna mixed two different shades of pink to make the color look more natural on my hands. The basic pedi with French nails + ombre dipping powder manicure ($55 plus $5 basic care) turned out to be $93 I think. First time visit, the lead/owner who is the only person can speak English fluently did my no chip manicure. She asked a lot background check questions like car sales do. I paid 15% tip and was questioned is there anything wrong? I didn't understand, for a basic no chip manicure, did she feel 15% of tip was not enough? My second visit, they turned me down for walk ins, and ask me to come back at 6pm. I left my phone number, my dentist appointment supposed to finish on/before 6pm, I got back a little late like 6:08pm. They already took other customer who walked in ironically and ask me to wait. Which I feel they could totally give me a call, but they didn't. And they lied it won't be long, I waited like another half an hour, still not close to finish, decided to leave and never come back. Tia is amazing! The sweetest nail tech you'll find, and really good at her job. And trust me my feet were in need of some serious loving. Her hands are magical. She's great at shaping the nails, never nicked me once and painted flawlessly! My mini me had a relaxing sea salt scrub pedicure with hot stone massage by Rosie, who just happens to be one of the NEW owners. She was in heaven as she was worked on by both owners, including Anne who did wonders on her razor sharp finger nails. As a ballerina you have to trust your feet to only the best because well, you dance with your feet and they have to be well taken care of. Anne polished her nails perfectly as Rosie massaged her overworked calves. Seriously though as an esthetician (licensed to do facials) I am VERY PICKY! I make sure every item is sterile and sanitary, they are individual single use pumice, nail files and buffers. And all equipment is vigorously cleaned, including the spa bowls. They use liners for every person and dispose of them properly after each use. And let's be real, you know it's all about going to an awesome place that's also clean. This is that place! Well I had a gel on my nails and that was the excuse of the owner why it took so long to get my nails done (blaming my gel). on top of that she charged me extra $5 for removing the gel. The full-set gel was too thick and there's so much glue and residue on the bottom Of the nails. Terrible job I must say. I hope they can improve their service. ***UPDATE*** 8.2.19 I went here for a normal gel manicure! My Gel didn't even last a week!!!!!!! Before it started chilling on multiple nails. 8.5.29She put tons of layers on my nails looked thick which is not cute. And they are expensive. I could of just got regular color if I knew the gel wouldn't last a week. I will not be back ! I needed to get my nails done and my first choice was booked. So I seen this place super close to my place (walking distance) so I gave them a try. I'm very happy with the service and customer service! I had a young lady names Hannah so my full set. She took her time and the show came out nicely the color and finish all came out really well. Very happy with how she did them! I had my 9 month old daughter with me in her stroller and the other staff was very friendly with her talking to her playing with her to make sure she was ok while my nails were getting done.
