They have mood changing gel colors! Love this place. Close to my house and most importantly, AFFORDABLE! Low twenties for gel manicure. They used to have a stamp card. How many nail salons have those?! But I'm not sure they still do this. Note that although they do take credit cards, they don't take tips added in the credit card charge, so if you want to (and you should!) tip, bring cash! I like to get my nails done by Tina. read more

This place is my go to nail salon in Fremont! I can always count on Tina to do my nails the way I want them. I've been coming here for almost 4 years now, and the amount of time and money I've dedicated to this salon really tells you something. I've checked out other nail salons in Fremont before, but I always find myself returning to Gennie's. It's a small, homey place in a corner plaza; parking is plentiful. I recommend making a reservation over the phone, but walk ins are also welcome. I switch around between getting gel acrylics and regular gel manicures. My gel acrylics were $35, and my fills after ranged from $25-30 depending on if I get just solid colors or add some sort of design. The photo I've attached costed $30. Regular gel manicures range between $25-30 depending again on just solid colors or with design. This price range is the best you'll find in the Bay Area! Sooo worth it. Lastly, Tina is not only meticulous with her work, but she's also quick. My acrylic fill took about 40 minutes, whereas other salons usually take about 45-50. She's very friendly, always follows what you want, and even makes suggestions. Definitely try this nail salon out! You won't be disappointed. read more

First time here and Tina took care of my nails. She did an amazing job removing my previous gel set and applying some new color to my natural nails. She was very diligent the whole time and took extra care to make sure it was to my liking. Definitely recommend this place, especially for the quality, price, and customer service. I'm so so happy I came here!! I was visiting a friend in the area and we checked it out from a recommendation. I've had a hard time trying to find a nail salon where I'm happy with the end result because I grew up with a mom who worked as a very thorough manicurist so my expectations are high, but place was AWESOME. The ladies were very nice and efficient- I was in and out in ~35 minutes. My cuticles are clean and neat, the application of the gel is smooth and even, and overall I'm very pleased with how my nails turned out! In addition, I'm surprised for the quality and it being the Bay Area, that the cost was so affordable- only $22 for my gel manicure! These ladies are amazing! They are so sweet and do such a great job. The pedicures are very relaxing, one main reason is they don't make you feel rushed. The nail technicians take their time to make whatever nail design you want come to life. They strike up nice conversation and send you off with a smile (...plus great nails!). They also have a fun selection of nail art stickers if you like a little spark of something fun and unique. (I attached a photo of my Halloween nails). I've been going to Gennies Nails for almost two years now. Tina does an amazing job every time and I always leave the salon extremely happy. She is so quick with my fills and I never have to wait to get service ( i make appointments beforehand.) She does an incredible job and I have never had any problem with my cuticles or skin around my nails peeling like other salons. I go into the salon with an example of what I want and Tina always makes it happen. I highly recommend Gennies, even after moving I still make the commute to go to her because I know i'm guaranteed excellent service every-time! read more

Excellent!! 5 stars as always. Tina is the best nail tech in the area. Ever since the pandemic I have been longing for Tina and her team to open. I wanted to have my nails done so bad that I even dreamed about getting my nails done. I am so glad they are finally open and I must say that the place is well prepared. The nail salon is so clean and they disinfect/sanitize every time a customer finish their appointment. They take precautions very seriously and will not serve anyone with no mask on. I have been coming to TINA at Gennie's Nails for 6 years! Even when I lived in LA I would come for a fill. She always has something to fit my tastes and listens to what I want very carefully. I hadn't been here over 5 years. I loved it then, but their hours just didn't coordinate with my work schedule. Now with COVID SIP and working from home I'm back. A few changes Ana moved to Texas, she was my design lady. Tina is running the place beautifully. I was the first client on Saturday morning, I was warmly greeted by Tammy. She began by taking my temperature and asking me to pick the color as she set up for my pedicure. The shop itself has always been clean, but certainly is in line with Covid guidelines. They have plastic partitions for all their stations. Once Tina arrived she helped me with my hand nail design colors. FYI currently they are not doing paraffin waxes. I am very satisfied with their service and attention. read more

I'm so happy nail salons are open now. Tina is super clean and careful. She has acrylic barriers and sanitizes after each client. This place is great and not even pricy! I tried this place because my friend recommended it and I just wanted a quick shellac service. It only costs 20 bucks ! The only thing is that they do not massage your hands or anything and just do the shellac but I'm ok with that ... For 20 bucks I'm def ok with that. I mean I've spent 30 + on shellac before and they massage my hands and sometimes I'm just in a rush I guess it all depends on you. But they also give you a punch card as well so I believe after ur tenth or 12th visit you get one free nail appointment :) read more

I am speechless and doesn't know where to start rating . All I can say is Tina and her staff are super creative. Tifanny has turn my boring nails into a stunning look. I am so in love with it. Many salon had told me it's not possible to put any gems or design on my real nails. I guess I picked a good salon choice. I cannot be more happy then what I had experienced from Genie Nail today. Sophia is amazing and very professional and Daisy insisted that I take my time to choose the right color when I wasn't too sure about the selected color I first chose. I highly recommend this spot. Clean, welcoming, hospitable and very kind. I think I found my new nail spot!!
