She is a pro at the "pink and white" method of nail enhancement. I love how realistic they look. She is a perfectionist and my nails still look great after 3 weeks growth. What a great experience I had today at Anh's nails and spa. I went in for a pedicure and had "Tammy" as my technician. Tammy did more than I expected for a standard pedicure and with such care. I was worried that I hadn't asked the cost ahead of time, but boy was I pleasantly surprised at the cost! Very reasonable! The salon had all new (massaging!) chairs recently installed which I found to be very comfortable. I really appreciate that they use disposable liners in the foot baths. The entire salon appears very clean and well-cared for. Also, Jack" at the desk was so pleasant and personable! I didn't make an appointment and I was able to walk in a Thursday afternoon around 3PM! They weren't really busy so I was able to immediately sit down for both a pedicure and manicure! Everyone was super friendly and they really did take into consideration what you want without being too pushy. I've definitely been to places that told me they personally didn't like the style I was going for, or kept on telling me I should get longer nails and tried to upsell me, but nothing of that sort here! The only thing I was a little skeptical of was that they said the shaped I wanted (almond) was in popular demand so they charged me an $5 for it, kind of weird but I didn't really question it at the time. Great team and super attentive for the full experience. I get a simple (cheapest ) manicure done once in a blue moon and I prefer my nails short so I am not concerned about the quality of color and longevity. I was very aware that my basic manicure would not last long, however it began to scratch easily and chip off 48 hours after my session. My sister upgraded to gel manicure on the same visit, and her manicures didn't last long either. So far I recommend this place for a simple pampering, but would be wary if you're spending $$$$ and hoping for something that last longer than a week. read more

10/10. You will get what you pay for. They were available early morning after arriving at the bay, and so Kelly did my hands and feet today and it was a success! The idea came from previous designs they have done. I had short natural nails, and they recommended I add tip (they recommended correctly because Kelly was able to add more flowers to each nail) and dip powder as who doesn't want these nails to last for weeks!? I trusted the process, the pedicure made me feel sooooo clean after not getting them done for months, and my hands cmon, = SPRING TING nails! Best Experience! 5 STARS! I was hesitant coming here due to COVID, especially going to a new nail tech. I was calling all over Yelp to see who's open and Anh called me back. I was able to book an appointment on the spot. I was impressed how clean and social distance they were. They have hand sanitizer at each station and they have customers at every other seat. I felt safe coming here. The owner was very sweet and welcoming. She made me feel like she was my 2nd aunt. I came here on a weekday, as expected the place was empty. I got my nails done by My. She's the only one who does acrylic nails/designs. She's very talented. I showed her a photo of a design and she was able to replicate it. Loved my nails! I was a regular of this salon for over a year. While the salon is clean and I had thought the techs were friendly, unfortunately, I had such a bad experience the last time I was there for services that I felt I needed to write a review. Ultimately I was very disappointed in the deceptive practices of the owner, Anh. I went to the salon to get waxing and I was told the price was $40 and up for that particular service. I confirmed with Anh beforehand that I could only spend $40-45 for that service and she had told me there was no issue. Midway through the service, there was a second person who came into the room (as this waxing was done on a sensitive area, this made me very uncomfortable). After they both were done, Anh had informed me that because a second person came in, the price for the service was doubled to $80. I told her that there was no need for a second person to come in, and that the first person doing the service had left to go help another customer. I was obviously very upset. The fact that they doubled the price without letting me know that there would be another person and the fact that we had confirmed the price together gave me a very bad impression. Not only did that happen, I also went with my mother several times to get our nails done, and after the last session, my mom told me she'd never come back. She always gets callus removal on her feet, and the person who was doing my mom's pedicure scraped her foot so badly that she was bleeding for over a day. I told Anh after the waxing service that she'd lost a loyal customer that day. I will not be back. read more

I would also recommend Kelley. She did a great holiday manicure. I was super happy with my experience and highly recommend them to others. Tldr; do come here if you're looking for basic level mani/pedi and simple nails. Don't come here if you're picky about imperfections, want trending nail styles (chrome, magnet, etc) as they only really offer basic nail service. -1 star for misleading customer communication. I came in asking if they could do a pvc/gel fill with the same pink/white/jewel/glitter design I already had. They said yes so I proceeded to let them shave off my nails. Finally until color selection, then they told me they couldn't do ombre pink and white and that I had to select a solid color instead. That was really disappointing so I mentioned that they should have told me they couldn't replicate what I had upfront, as I wouldn't have stayed and removed my designs if I had known. But of course they want my business so now at this point I feel tricked but still I continued to work with them to see if they could give me something else I liked (champagne chrome) but nothing turned out close to the picture I referenced (silver metallic). Took that off and I ended up settling for this pink with glitter tips, as shown in the pic. -1 star for how much I felt rushed as I guess it was a busy day for them. I was there for about 1 hr 15 minutes. The first half hour a woman took off my design for prep, she was great but when I got to Anh, the business owner, she made me feel rushed for the rest of my duration during color selection and design. During the shaping process, I must have pointed out to Anh how some nails were way to shaved to a side. She would try to fix it but never got it right nor did she ask if I liked it after she was done. She says all the right things like, you're the boss, whatever you like, but doesn't actually follow through nor proactively make sure you like the job, unfortunately. During gem/design, I felt the most rushed because she only wanted to offer to do gems around the cuticle. She put some on but I didn't like the rest, so I suggest around the side instead. She flat out said she didn't like that. I thought I was the boss? Whatever I like? Guess not. She made me feel like I couldn't even ask her to try my design, so I didn't and just wanted the service to be over. Overall, my nails came out disappointing and average if not below average. Sloppy painting here and there. But if Anh had shown a bit more patience and willingness to make her customer happy, I'd might consider coming back. But from how rushed I felt and her impatience with me, I'll take my business elsewhere. I would recommend this place if you're looking for basic nail service and not too picky, but anything more than that, on a busy day especially, you might be disappointed. read more

Really happy with Anh's! She's very sweet and makes sure your nails come out exactly how you want. Anh helped me choose my color combo: a dark olive green topped with a sapphire blue cat eye to create a very unique color combo. My nails lasted 4 weeks and I would and will definitely come back. This is a great place if you want a standard mani or acrylic & gel set. Wouldn't recommend it for any special designs. Taking 1 star off because my nail tech didn't know how to properly shape almond nails. Anh and her team are great. I haven't been back in years (pandemic, work & life craziness, etc.) but I'm glad I came back. I got a gel mani and the super duper pedicure. It was amazing and they didn't need to take hours to get it done (I was in-and-out in 1 hour!). I've been other salons around Fremont (NailBox, Polished Beauty, etc.) and I've noticed that when I get a mani/pedi, they take over 2 hours or keep me sitting there in chair trying to up-sale me everything on the menu. Best part of the mani pedi are the massages to the hands and feet. AH MAZING! Please stop by and check them out. There's lots of space to spread out and they're mindful of wearing their masks. Not only is Anh and her friendly staff courteous, but they make sure to follow exact protocol for sanitation. She gave a great massage and I had a great experience with her. The atmosphere was very friendly and they really made their customers feel comfortable. I love coming in to Anh's, the nail techs are always so nice and accommodating (meaning they put up with me when I come in without an appointment ), have a variety of polish colors and services, and it's kept very clean. Although they do take walk-ins, they do also appreciate being able to gauge how busy they're going to be and it's very easy to make an appointment by phone, so give them a call! I don't mind most of the time, but when I come in just to relax it could be a bit annoying. The staff is nice. Don't really care for them that much. I would rather them do the job and stop asking personal questions. No massage chairs unless they just don't turn them on to save $. If you pay via credit card, you will be charged extra 3% which is unfair because as a business owner, that should be something they have to pay for having credit card services provided to their customers. Went as a last minute walk in and was greeted with most friendly and personable couple ever. Never have I been treated so special. I'm sure everyone here knows what it's like to walk into a mail salon and all the girls start chatting to each other in their own language then turning to look at you. These people are crooks! I had a really frustrating experience at the salon. I initially went in for a gel manicure but during my pedicure, I inquired about a dip manicure and Vivania asked if I wanted it and I agreed. As I was sitting getting my pedicure she put the base gel on my nails and waited until I was done. When I moved to the table to complete the manicure she realized they didn't have the color I wanted. After what felt like 10 minutes, she removed the dip with that electric machine and switched to doing a gel manicure. At checkout, I was charged for the dip despite having received a gel manicure. When I questioned this, one of the staff members sitting the front that was working with someone else (that I've never seen) insisted that I had asked for the dip, even though I said Vivania had removed it. It became a tense situation, with them getting all rowdy and feeling pressured, I ended up paying for the dip I didn't receive. I'm extremely disappointed by their dishonesty and handling of the situation. I plan to report this incident to my bank, and I won't be returning to that salon again. read more

Anh did the acrylic part of my nail... which i know is not too popular anymore but for us 80's babies the legacy lives on Amy sculpted my nails and painted them . My friend called ahead and she specifically asked that no men be around when we are getting our pedicure because we cover up for religious reasons. Honestly its not even so bothersome that he was around since he was in the front, but its the way they were so disrespectful and didnt even care about what we had asked. So my friend stood up and we said should we leave since they completely disregarded our request, and the man comes up to us and says "what country is it that women cant go out without a man?" As if he was mocking our religion/people. Our religion gives us women the most respect & empowers us in ways you cant even fathom so please educate yourself sir. i loved this place!! im not the chattiest and they respected that. they were all super kind and understanding. they also called me pretty so that boosted my confidence this was my first time doing my nails and she recommended i do a mix of acrylics for the base and gel for the french tips. i just showed my inspo pic and they went to work. i have delicate/thin nail beds so i flinched while she was filing, but she immediately toned it down and was a lot more gentle. the vibe there was really chill and your classic viet nail salon. im half viet but cant speak vietnamese but it wasn't hard to communicate, their english was really good price was also pretty good read more
