I spotted this place for the first time when I did alterations next door and knew I had to check them out eventually. The ladies were very sweet and welcoming. I went for the first time and it was empty so I was able to walk in for a gel manicure and pedicure. I selected a color and showed them the design I wanted on my ring finger nails. The person that did my gel pedicure was great and I got an incredible massage at the end. As my pedicure took place, the person was also doing my manicure. I wish they were transparent from the beginning about not being able to do nail designs. The nail design were three white flowers of various sizes on the nail. Before she started the nail design, she told me she would try. She tried a few times and it didn't look good. Eventually she said it would be easier if I sat at the chair where they usually to the nails. I did and it still didn't look right. Then someone else came to help and did the nail design and it was okay. I was there for long enough and didn't want to complain. The polish bled into my cuticles, there were air bubbles and rough finish on the polish, and my nail shape is uneven because of poor filing. After a couple of days, the gel started chipping and lifting from my finger nails. They're affordable which is a plus. They also have signs posted letting you know that they will charge an additional $2 if you use a credit card so cash is recommended. I don't think I will be back. read more

I have a long history of going to Nail Chic - over 20 years! All the ladies are friendly and do great work. Whether my daughter and I are getting our toes done or a regular fill, it is always a pleasure to walk in the door and be greeted with a smile. My husband even does to get his pedicures there. Updated review: After 4 days, every nail has either major chipping or is lifting off entirely. They started chipping significantly on day two. Thank goodness they're this light pink color or it'd be blatantly obvious. I'm going to need these to be taken off immediately. Definitely a waste of money. I hate to blame people by name, so I'll say that the person who did my manicure should reconsider doing dip nails in the future if they're not skilled in that area. I have been going to Nail Chic and getting my nails done by Cindy for a couple of years now. All of the ladies that work here are very kind and friendly. Cindy always does an excellent job! She is very sweet, she's on time, flexible with appointments, fast and efficient, and she is always able to do whatever inspo picture I show her. I wouldn't even give this place a single star. The employees were incredibly rude. I took my child to get her nails done, and they were making unnecessary comments. Nina, in particular, was extremely disrespectful and needs to learn not to make remarks about anyone's child. read more

On the rare visits that I do make here, I always get the portable foot massager similar to the one I have at home. Color selection- hard to see the polish color since the bottles are not up against a wall, rather in a rolling cart. Nonetheless, this is the one place where I really like the color selection. Came in on a Wednesday afternoon around 4:30 and received the greatest service from Nina & Mai. Both were very kind and once I had mentioned I was expecting (over small talk) they both made sure I was comfortable and that's a huge plus. Nina took her time with my nails and I so appreciate her for it, some nail techs get you in and out of their chair but she did very good and kept asking me after shaping if I were happy with them before continuing. Mai did great on my toes with my pedicure, I chose to have the option where I could get them done while at the manicure chair and it was just the same as sitting in a pedicure chair without the back massage (I rarely use if in one anyways) I received a leg/foot massage once she was done which felt amazing being as I'm 5 months pregnant and although the man in my life tries can't give me that feel good like Mai did. So, it's 2020 ladies. & I know everyone has been stepping their nail game up HARD. Seeing all those nails on beauty gurus & what not. Well, look no further. After about 4 years without getting acrylics, I went back to my day 1 salon -- Nail Chic w/ CINDY! I came in with the idea of doing a colored ombré tips, but I left with a solid clean & white/nude set w stickers of butterflies on the ring finger. Like I said, I haven't been here for 4 years & they still are my only recommendation for a solid set of acrylics when ladies ask. I wanted to come on here & restate that these ladies are bomb & they have so many NEW additions! I'll post on the pictures. Plus, the staff is still amazing as always. Pedicures still are offered at the station for a less amount than the ones in the chairs by the walls. They have TONS of colored powders & gel colors now. I had CINDY show me a box of stickers you can put on your nails -- from holiday ones, animal prints, flowers & butterflies. Will be back for my fill, CINDY! ;) Peep the pictures folks. read more

I found this place through Yelping somewhere close to my work so I could go during my lunch hour. I called and talked to Nina and she let me know there was no wait and to come by. She greeted me at the door and had a chair ready for me as she knew I was on a tight schedule. We started chatting as if we were friends for a long time. She made me feel comfortable and asked if the color was ok before proceeding. She was very thorough and gentle and did a beautiful job. The venue is clean and has a lot of space between others. I saw a lot of sanitizer, Clorox wipes, spa chair cleaner/sanitizer, air sanitizer in different areas. When I left the salon I wanted to give her a hug as if she were one of my good girl friends. Called here after having left my current nail salon disappointed. (That's a whole other review though!) I was a frequent customer here about 12 years ago, but stopped coming because I'd relocated and it was out of the way. Always had good experiences here though. I called last minute, day before Thanksgiving, in total desperation to have my nails done (including a broken nail) that I've been living with for almost 2 weeks in anticipation of my upcoming (failed) appt. As soon as I gave her my name, she confirmed and asked if I had a sister named " " . I do! She immediately remembered me and said she recognized my voice. Wow! I was shocked...it had been a dozen years and it made me feel really special. I booked the appt., went in and got my nails done with Nina a few hours later. Nina was very new when I frequented the salon back then. She's not a newbie anymore! She saved my real nails, and gave me exactly what I wanted. She even double checked with me that it was what I wanted before applying the layer of clear gel. I got a full set, pink natural powder (EX blush Pink), with a clear gel coat.
