This is my first time at v nails and man this place did not disappoint! The inside is so elegant and clean, the prices were great, customer service was amazing! I came in as a walking, asked Ivy if she had time for a full set, showed her the design I wanted and asked if she can get it done in an hour because I had work. She knocked it out of the park. I am so in love with my nails. I will definitely be going back. Thank you Ivy!

Everything was amazing from the ambiance to the pricing options, which are super reasonable for the quality you receive. My mom and I came in for a girls' day, and we both absolutely loved our experience. We were taken care of by Cindy and Wen, and we also had the chance to meet the owner, Ivy. They were all incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely made us feel so welcomed. What really stood out to me was the attention to detail. They listened to exactly how I wanted my toes and delivered perfectly no shortcuts, no rushing, just quality work. Also, little tip: paying through Zelle or cash is definitely recommended! Overall, such a sweet and relaxing experience. I'll definitely be coming back

This was my first time visiting V Nail Studio. It was clean and had a cute modern aesthetic. I booked my appointment with Ivy and she was great! I have not had my nails done in decades! When I left I was very happy with my nails and I have already booked my 6 week fill with Ivy. Finding a nail salon in Newark is pretty easy, but finding one that gives solid pedicures that leave your feet feeling fresh is not as easy. V Nail Studio is an amazing find. My wife has gone here twice but my first time was incredible. The studio feels incredibly clean and everyone here was so welcoming. I went by myself and nobody seemed bothered by a man just walking in for a pedicure. The pedicure itself was perfect. My feet felt was fresh afterwards and the leg massage was out of this world. My wife raved about her experience and I'm glad mine was similar. We'll definitely be coming back for routine pedicures. read more

Booking an appointment was a breeze! I needed a place that offers gel X. This place was 10 minutes from my house and convenient. It used to be called Lush but now has new ownership. The space is lovely and spotless. I visited on a Wednesday, so it was very relaxing. Ivy, my nail tech, listened carefully to my gel X ideas, and she did an excellent job removing my old set gently and carefully, making sure not to hurt me and protecting my natural nails. She was patient, taking her time to create a design that matched my inspiration perfectly. The price was pretty reasonable too, and I'll definitely come back here. They accept credit cards and Zelle, making payment easy. read more

Found them on Yelp and wanted to try since I live down the street. The studio is so nice and clean, love the esthetic of it. I have now been there 3 times so I feel I can give an honest review. I have been getting my nails done by Ivy she is so nice and recommends best service to keep your nails healthy, I have also gotten pedicures and my fave has been with Hailey so far. I had to wear it like this to the event I was going to And TO My job. The last time I addressed this problem Christina said it was the heat from flat ironing my hair. This time it's my fault bc of "chemicals I'm using". (No I did not use any heat or hair dye in my hair and I don't tan!) when I texted Christina how can I fix it she said come in and so I did. When I got there I can tell the atmosphere was different. They were asking if I dyed my hair, did I go tanning, and I told them again NO. they kept talking in between questions in their native tongue I started getting uncomfortable at that point. At the end I got charged with another fee of $30 after I spent over $100 the last time I did my nails. I will not be back. Thank you but no thank you.

I was charged $50 for this and I would not pay more than $30 max for something like this. After i expressed concern that $50 is a lot especially for no acrylic nails and just painting my nails .... she started talking in Vietnamese to her coworker ( most likely talking crap lol ). Anyways i paid what she asked and a few dollars more for the tip but will never go back. Waste of money. A nurse makes $50/hr. You can see my photos below:

It was easy to schedule an appointment with Nailaland, just give them a call and book. The removal fee was $15, and the cost of a new set varied from $70-90+, depending on the chosen design. Chloe, my nail technician, was very patient during the removal process despite the big jewels flying everywhere as she was filing it off. After showing her a photo of the new design I wanted, she skillfully delivered a pretty finished product that I absolutely loved. Unfortunately, one of the butterfly wings broke after I got home, but Chloe was able to schedule a free fix after I contacted her. The salon accepts Venmo, Zelle, and PayPal as payment methods. I highly recommend coming here for quality Japanese nails.

With a time commitment after the appointment, the technician rushed through my nails, and I didn't get the design I originally wanted. I did try to be understanding during this first appointment because the traffic + weather that day seemed to have pushed her client schedule behind. Second appointment in December: Hoping for a better experience, I booked an appointment to get my nails done for the holidays. I arrived on time, texted the technician to let me in, but received no response. After knocking for nearly 10 minutes and calling, someone else opened the door and said they'd contact my technician. Several minutes later, I was informed she had a flat tire and wouldn't make it. The technician never reached out to notify me or reschedule. I couldn't wait due to my babysitter's schedule and the long drive, leaving with wasted time, gas, and no nails done for Christmas. Unfortunately, both experiences were poorly managed, and I can't recommend this salon.

I went in on 4/11, texted her on 4/12. It was raining pretty hard so I was stuck at home not doing anything crazy to justify the chipping. It's now the 16th and crickets. I spent $150 ($50 deposit, $100 day of service) for gel nails that haven't even lasted as long as regular polish. Not to mention, when I arrived there were no instructions on how to get into the building. No signage. No way to communicate with her. I almost left until she texted me 7 minutes after the scheduled appointment time. I'm pregnant and I was out waiting in the rain as I had taken a Lyft there. I want my money back! I work hard for what I have and this is definitely not worth $150.

I'm so happy for Ivy and her new salon -- it's gorgeous and totally shows how talented she is! I've been going to her for a while now, and she never misses. She's super gentle, detailed, and always makes sure my nails come out perfect. I usually show her an inspo pic and she always gets it exactly right -- the shape, the color, everything. I brought my mom in for a pedicure too, and the lady who helped her (I didn't catch her name) was really nice. The whole vibe of the new salon is calm, clean, and welcoming. You can tell Ivy puts so much care into what she does. I always leave feeling so happy with my nails. Highly recommend checking her out! read more

My friend told me about V Nail Studio and needless to say I was IMPRESSED! I got red cateye nails and decided to try out the pumpkin spice scrub and masks... loved it. The Halloween decorations were adorable, and everyone there was so so so kind! My nails came out SUPER CUTE. Overall a 10/10 experience for a first-time visit, I'm definitely coming back here next time I visit California. read more

Hailey is my favorite nail tech!!! She goings above and beyond with perfection and making sure the nails match the inspo. i've never had a bad experience with her and always have the best nails.
