I have used Nellis Auction Mesa close to 1000 times and have saved so much money. Returns are easy…read more pick ups are extremely efficient and the people working there are friendly and fast. I don't think I've had sit over two minutes waiting for my items to come out. They have everything which is literally everything.

Review of My Love/Hate Relationship with Nellis Auction (Phoenix)…read moreNellis Auction is basically MAC.BID's slightly more organized cousin... but the chaos still lives there. The good news: the items are usually described much better during bidding, and most of the time you actually get really cool stuff for ridiculously cheap prices. I've scored some genuinely awesome finds that made me feel like a professional bargain hunter. One of the best parts is the pickup system. You schedule an appointment, pull into the lot, and they actually bring the items out to your car. No wandering around a giant warehouse playing "Where's My Stuff?" like a scavenger hunt. That alone deserves points. Flexible payment options are also nice, especially for those of us who occasionally make questionable late-night bidding decisions. Another nice feature is that if your account is in good standing, you can choose not to complete the purchase if you decide the item really wasn't what you needed after all. It doesn't automatically charge your card the next morning and leave you feeling personally victimized by your own bidding habits. Now... the other side of the relationship. Every once in a while, an item you won mysteriously becomes "not found." Poof. Gone. Refunded like it never existed. And of course it's always the one item you were actually excited about. Then there are the updated terms of service. Let's just say if you miss or need to reschedule your pickup appointment, G-d help you. There are restocking fees, rescheduling fees, and possibly a fee for breathing the wrong way near the parking lot. Even if you submit multiple help desk tickets through ZenDesk explaining the situation, you may still be waiting on a response long enough to question your life choices. I'm currently still waiting on my last ticket... but I'm not holding my breath. Customer service chat can also be... entertaining. Some reps seem about as familiar with the policies as the rest of us are. And then there's the pickup check-in system. Each parking spot has a printed QR code hanging on a pole that you're supposed to scan. In theory, great idea. In reality... it works about as often as my Wi-Fi during a monsoon. Item condition can also be a gamble. One time I bought a "brand new Sonicare toothbrush - new in package." It arrived looking like it had already lived a full and meaningful life in someone else's bathroom. Straight to the garbage. Pro tip: never buy clothing. You may receive items that appear to have been previously loved... worn... returned... and possibly attacked by deodorant. I once opened a child's coat that had deodorant stains on it and immediately escorted it directly to the trash like it was a biohazard. It definitely feels like nobody is actually checking these items, and you can't really inspect them before leaving either. So sometimes you win big... and sometimes you win a future trip to the garbage can. BUT... despite all of this... it's still weirdly fun. It's like a digital treasure hunt where most of the time you actually do find something cool -- and often brand new -- for way cheaper than retail. Do I sometimes question my choices? Yes. Do I still open the app and start bidding again? Also yes. Overall rating: Better system, better finds, slightly less chaos... but still a thrilling little gamble. Pro Tip: Check your items if you can before leaving. will save you a trip.

There is no "up and down." This place is a labyrinth designed by someone who said, "What if we hid Narnia behind every dresser?" I got lost at least three times. Possibly four. At one point I genuinely forgot: What I came for, which direction I entered... who I am as a person. Every time I thought I found the "main path," I'd turn a corner and BAM! secret pocket room. Hidden alcove. Side quest unlocked. Now, to be fair, if you are someone who enjoys treasure hunting, rummaging, discovering trinkets you didn't know you needed, and time traveling, this is your Disneyland. There is stuff. So much stuff. Trinkets. Bobbles. Whatnots, galore. Things your grandma had. Things your grandma refused to have. I went in looking for one very specific item. I did not find it. I did, however, find three existential moments and mild spatial disorientation. Did I have a good time? Yes. Did I leave with what I needed? No. Did I briefly consider dropping breadcrumbs to find my way out? Also yes. Three stars because it's impressive, chaotic, and an adventure... but if you go in with a mission, be prepared to lose it. Possibly along with your sense of direction. Would return. With a map.

Wow! Who knew Arizona had such an amazing memorabilia store. This place is absolutely huge! If you…read moreare looking for an autographed piece of memorabilia you will probably find it here. They have a wide variety of autographed media. Sports, movies, bands as well as historical autographed pieces, this is my go to local business for autographed gifts. Autographed items come with a COA from industry leading authentication experts such as Beckett Authentication Services, PSA/DNA, and James Spence Authentication. Today I purchased two Christmas gifts. A Taylor Swift autograph framed piece of memorabilia for my daughter and a Shaquille O'Neal autographed jersey for my son-in-law. I truly do enjoy purchasing from CBU Auctions and have done so for the past eight years. I first stumbled across them when the Majestic Movie Theater was called the Alamo. They had a display table in the lobby of the theater that featured autographed memorabilia. My husband is a huge 49ers fan so we bid on a Jerry Rice Helmet and won it. That's when I found out not only do I get a wonderful certified piece of autographed memorabilia at a great price, but a portion of the proceeds go to a reputable charity. It just doesn't get any better than that. You can still find their memorabilia in Majestic theaters. You can also make purchases online. In one of my pictures below, you can see a screenshot of their home page. At the top of the screenshot, you will see their email address. https://store.cbuauctions.com.
