I appreciate their service and would only use them in the future. They are the only auction company that I would use for real estate!!

I have been attending general merchandise auctions for over 25 years... all around the valley and…read moreacross the state. I have furnished at least 2 homes with exclusively auction bought furniture. I have been buying and selling on ebay since 1999. Please be very wary about doing business with this company. They will ask you to sign a dozen different disclaimers to be allowed to participate in their auctions. None of which are to your benefit or safety or assurance that you will be treated in an ethical manner. I have monitored, as I have particiipated in bidding, on at least 2 dozens auctions run by this organization. I have discovered that many...many items are relisted which might suggest there was not in fact a legitimate bid to begin with or that certain unknown bidders may in fact bid to inflate the selling price and then reneg. It is nearly impossible to get information on an item other than a cell phone photo on the website with a generic description such as "dark brown sofa". If you happen to own a computer and have patronized auctions for any length of time, you have almost certainly learned to do price comparisons. I have not seen a firearm sell on this site that I could not beat the price retail by at least 20% and in fact, many times I can find the same item in NEW condition with a warrantee for the same price as the winning bid or less. Automobiles are no different. Vehicles on this auction typically hammer down for numbers that would make Barret Jackon envious... I have been to those auctions as well. And then suddenly, mysteriously these vehicles reappear for auction at a later date. As far as real estate goes... I am under the impression this is where this company got its start. Selling land even the junk land merchants couldn't unload. I have seen parcels which are still actively been auctioned that were originally listed 10 to 12 months ago. Previews of items last 2 hours on the Tuesday morning prior to close of auction and pick up of items is a 3 hour window in the afternoon on the day following the auction. All very convenient for the average patron. One final thing to be aware of...scutinize your bid to be sure if you are in fact the current high bid. Auction AZ will let you bid against yourself and then claim it is your responsibility to have realized they are unscrupulous as this may or may not have been hidden in some text or one of the dozens of clauses you have agreed to by bidding. In my estimation this company is comparable to the guys selling thousand dollar stereos for a hundred bucks from the back of a van outside the mall and you will have little or no recourse if you find yourself buying misrepresented products. Good luck. Caveat Emptor.

After a major accident that totaled my car, I found myself back on the market for my next vehicle…read morepurchase. I was very leary of purchasing pre-owned as I have heard so many horror car buying stories of shady salesman, selling faulty vehicles and lacking clarity about the true vehicle condition, so I started my research. It took me close to a month of research, before I found a preowned dealership that still honored integrity. I knew the cars I was interested in and found my way to Goldie's. I was working with another dealership, as I had been pre-approved, but let me tell you what made the difference.. the service at Goldie's ! Through text and email, John, my sales-friend, (I call him) was so relatable and communicative. Walking in I have to admit is pretty cool, in the show room they had a old school IMMACULATE Corvette, a skew ball machine, and arcade games it felt unlike any other dealership I had walked in. The owners son greeted me and asked if I needed anything and to let him know if I did! He was the sweetest teenager. When they say Goldie's is a family business they really mean it ! I was working with John and let me tell you he was so transparent and honest it was like a breath of fresh air. I had considered other vehicles they had but he talked me through the maintenance cost, resale value and common mechanical issues each of the cars I had considered. Once I settled on a vehicle he was able to check for me the maintenance records as well as reviewed the carfax report with me. When I took the car for a test drive he told me to take my time get to know the car and make sure it was right for me. I never felt pressured to purchase. I was having a horrible time in dealing with the insurance payout of my previous vehicle and John was very empathetic in understanding my situation. He had set expectations before I came that with the insurance payout being delayed I may not be able to take the vehicle the vehicle home. I was thrilled with the no pressure atmosphere, and just came to take a look at the vehicle in person, with zero expectation to buy. John and his manager worked magic. I did in fact decide to purchase my vehicle and was able to take it home, there is a small cosmetic issue that I requested to have repaired and he called immediately and got the approval to get it taken care of. I'll be returning later this week to have that completed. I'll keep you guys posted after the service appointment. I had a great experience and I feel I got a good deal on my vehicle and, I felt like my business was valued, my concerns were heard and they've made a lifelong customer out of me ! Special thanks to Goldie's and super special thanks to John!

BUYER BEWARE: Whenever purchasing a vehicle at a used car dealer, there is always an element of…read morerisk. Unfortunately that risk may have been known ahead of time and merely undisclosed or covered up in order to make a profit in this game of currency we play. I purchased a 2011 Toyota Prius on 9-9-2023 from Auction Direct 2 U / Alternative Sales & Leasing with a $3500 down payment and financing contract on the remainder for the next 20 months for a total of around $3300 financed including interest ($212 per month). On the 9th day of ownership, I drove to a deposition 10 minutes from home and when I left to go back home I started the vehicle and was met with a strong rattle, knock and shaking of the engine which then threw a Check Engine Light. This knocking went away after about 10 seconds but obviously I was alarmed at such a severe experience in a vehicle that would normally be symptoms of something much worse in a standard car. I was able to drive it home and brought the vehicle back to the dealer for them to look it over. The coolant had gone down and the diagnostic codes were for a cylinder 1 & 2 misfire. They were kind enough to "replace the spark plugs and coils" assuming it was even done, but after some research, the reason for the coolant loss was not an external leak, it was a head gasket leak which allowed coolant to puddle in the cylinders and cause the misfire. I asked them to look for that during the time the mechanics had it in their hands. It also was still during the preliminary 3,000 mile warranty that comes with the purchase. Since then the issue is still present, now outside the warranty window and I have let them know with various pictures, videos and forum messages of what the issue is from professionals that work on these cars or actual owners but I haven't received any advice, recommendations or quotes for repair from the dealer with their partnered mechanics who run the shop directly behind the dealership. I was originally told this car was a "trade-in at Volkswagen in Scottsdale" but I am lead to believe that was a lie. The previous owner is a millionaire living in Paradise Valley (I know this because Toyota gave me an oil change from a 3 oil change package that was still paid for from the previous owner, the receipt had his name/address which I looked up on Zillow) who probably had the head gasket issue then gave this car to an auction/junkyard for recycling like a wealthy person would instead of fixing it due to its age and high mileage, then it was pawned off to this dealer and ultimately sold to me. Overall it is a nice car but I am left with a 3,000 LB piece of debt and low income to repair the head gasket which could lead to a blown connecting rod requiring more extensive engine repair/replacement. I do deliveries for a living due to some limitations I have on acquiring more substantial employment so this was a genuine business investment not a pleasure purchase, mainly to lessen my fuel expense but now it has went completely in the wrong direction. 2/5 stars for the detailing of the vehicles, the no-hassle salesmanship and overall ease of closing a transaction. Unfortunately I just didn't get the reality for the value I paid.

Will forever purchase my cars from Auction Direct 2 U! Fast, straightforward, great service!!!read more
