I've used this auction company before and have previously been satisfied, but my most recent experience was very frustrating. I won an auction for a listing titled "NIVEA Essentially Enriched Body Lotion 16.9 oz (Pack of 10)" with an estimated retail value of $95.33. The item details also stated it was new, functional, no damage, in package, and no missing parts. Based on the title, description, and retail value, I understood this to mean I was bidding on a 10-pack of lotion. When I arrived for pickup, I was told there were only two bottles. I explained that the listing clearly said "Pack of 10" and that the retail value supported that description. The photo showed two bottles, but I reasonably assumed the picture was showing the packaging style or that they came in sets of two. In my opinion, the written listing should accurately describe what the buyer is receiving. The manager told me I "should go off the picture" and offered only two options: leave the item and get a refund, or take the two bottles. I ended up taking them, but I essentially paid full retail, or possibly more, for only two bottles, when I bid believing I was purchasing a 10-pack. I understand mistakes happen, but auction listings need to be accurate. A title and retail value showing a 10-pack, while only providing two bottles at pickup, creates a misleading experience and feels very bait-and-switch. I hope they take more care with future listings so buyers can trust the descriptions before bidding.

Be careful buying things here. I purchased some airpod pros which were marketed as new. I even took screenshots of the ad just so that it could not be changed on their end later. It said the AirPods worked and were functional. This will be important later on. I pick the pods up and they were completely drained battery wise so I found that weird. I get home charge them up and try to connect them and they work but it says "Gemma's Airpods". In my eyes the pods are used the second they connect to someone's phone and apple account. I then get an apple message saying that the original owner could see my location at all times. Due to apple security there is no way to turn this off on your end it must be done by the owner before they sell them. In my eyes Nellis knowingly sold them as new when they knew they were used because how did you know they worked and not connect them to a phone? You would have known they were used. Which would have made me never purchase to begin with. So if you think you are getting new be careful. Also apple products have these settings built in so while it looks like a deal its not. I wasn't having them know my location at all times always.

Pick up area easy check in - The image shows a curbside pickup sign with a QR code and check-in instructions, positioned in a parking lot. The sign is attached to a pole, with a tree and a highway overpass in the background. Several cars are parked nearby, and orange traffic cones are placed along the parking area. The photo is taken from inside a vehicle, with part of the side mirror and window visible in the foreground.

Love coming here! It's quick and proficient. I usually pick up my items around 10 on Sunday mornings. There are workers directing the traffic and telling you what spot to check into. Sometimes the check in code doesn't work so a worker ca check you in by phone number. I always bring a opener to make sure items aren't damaged and are acceptable. Only a couple times I've had to do returns for an item not working or described correctly.

3 fold guest mattress - A large black object, which appears to be a piece of furniture or an appliance, is fully wrapped in clear plastic. The item is situated on a wooden floor in an indoor setting, with a wooden door and some furniture visible in the background.

Always inspect your items. Once again the item was not as described. Wrong size (smaller) making the price they had for a much larger one. Now I have to drive back across town to return it. The only thing correct was it is new. They need to get better help with the skill to use a measuring tape.

The photo depicts the exterior of Nellis Auction, a commercial building with a modern design featuring white and dark gray panels. The parking lot in front is mostly empty, with a few parked cars visible on the left side. Several orange traffic cones are placed across the lot, possibly for directing traffic or construction. The sky above is cloudy, and the building's signage is clearly visible.

I would liken the Nellis online auctions to thrifting. You have to be patient with the process because you know that the prices are well below retail value. Yes some of the final auction bids that you win may seem too good to be true and other times it doesn't work out due to the item not being as described in the ad. I have become a regular with Nellis because there is a very flexible policy with returning items with no hassle if you are not satisfied. For the auction to improve, if the descriptions of the items were more accurate, that would be super helpful. There are some glitches in the app which can be frustrating, but that's OK because a new auction happens every day with similar items. As a regular, if I could give a tip, I would say, if there is an item you love, if it is at the beginning of it's 24 hour auction., either get on the watchlist or only bid once and wait until you get an alert from Nellis Auction with 1 minute and 53 seconds remaining in the auction and then aggressively bid so the price does not get run up over the course of 24 hours and then the item is near retail value. Sometimes I wonder if bidders on the most random items are Nellis Employees running up the price against you. eBay is more transparent because all Bidders have a name linked to their bid instead of just Bidder #1 to Bidder #6 etc. Overall, I'm very happy with my grabs at the Nellis auction.

The email from Nellis Auction details their item return policies, including a 7-day return window from the pick-up date. It emphasizes the importance of inspecting winning items promptly and highlights that items outside the 7-day window are no longer eligible for return. The message also mentions the process for initialing purchases and encourages customers to review their items carefully. The email is formatted with bold and italicized text to highlight key policy points.

1/2 Review of My Love/Hate Relationship with MAC.BID MAC.BID…read moreis the reason I now own a shop vac, a mystery box of cables that may or may not power a spaceship, a patio heater that looks like it belongs at a Vegas pool party, and a box of 50 plastic popcorn cups... because obviously every household needs that. Did I need these things? No. Did I win them at 1:07 AM because "it was a steal"? Absolutely. I've also received a mirror instead of a clock once, and another time a broken clock that was supposed to be "like new" but at least it was indeed a clock. Sometimes the items arrive with a slightly different interpretation of "like new"... as in "newly broken." Also important to know: everything is sold AS IS. No returns... unless you pay the extra $7 Buyer's Assurance, which is basically insurance for your questionable late-night bidding decisions. Honestly, not the worst idea. Picking up items is an adventure of its own. Imagine wandering through a giant warehouse treasure hunt looking for a theater number that may or may not exist. It's part scavenger hunt, part mild cardio, part emotional roller coaster. Sometimes you score a fantastic, high-quality item for dirt cheap and feel like a financial genius. Other times... well... you bring home something that makes you question your life choices. Parking can be packed, pickup hours could definitely be better (since most of us need actual jobs to fund these late-night bidding decisions), but the staff is always nice and helpful. With the membership you can hold items for a few days, which is great because sometimes you win things you forgot you even bid on. The thrill of bidding is unmatched. One minute you're casually browsing, the next you're in a silent psychological war with someone named DesertDad1978 over a box labeled "assorted household items." Do I tell myself every time that this is the absolute last time I'm bidding? Yes. Do I log back in the next night? Also yes. Honestly, it's kind of a fun activity for the whole family -- like a chaotic little treasure hunt where the prize might be amazing... or a haunted blender with no lid. Would I recommend it? Yes. Would I also recommend hiding your credit card from yourself? Also yes. Overall rating: 1/2 Great deals, mild chaos, questionable self-control required.

The items are sold as is, which to be fair, is listed on the app. You get what you pay for. In addition though, I had an item go missing and had to pay $10 to extend the day I could pick it up because THEY lost the item, but guess who had to cover that $10? Me. They said they wouldn't refund it even though they misplaced it. All together, I'd just go to Nellis auction instead. They are easier to work with.

There was a high-end Baldwin piano that sold for $900 and beautiful china cabinets with matching table and chairs...this place is awesome!! The auctions are sorted into 4 different rooms two inside and two outside.
