This is the Mesa location for pickup. See also my review on the Phoenix location, but this is one of the places for pickup after you win a bid on their website. It's like eBay except when you win it doesn't get shipped to you, you have to go pick it up. This warehouse is located SE of the lower Loop 202 corner near the Bell Bank park out toward Queen Creek. You there off 202 on the Hawes exit. If you set your pickup date and time for Saturday, be prepared to wait in a line (see photo). It took me about 20 mins to get in after getting there. But during the week pick up is very quick. We bought beds and bed frames for an apartment (see photo) and got great deals. Less than 50% of retail prices. Again the descriptions can sometimes be inaccurate but they are very good about accepting returns. Some people check out the items before they leave since both this location and the Phoenix location are far out there. Just see where the item is located when you are bidding so you know which location you need to go to get your item because they do not move the item to help you out. Update to my previous review which was 5 stars. Nellis in the last couple days has changed their bidding format-no longer starting bid at $1 (even though their website still says that), to minimum bid anywhere between $3-$6. This was all done without any prior notification to people bidding - I was bidding on things every day, picking up approx 20-30 items a week. I will no longer support a business that uses deceitful business practices and I hope no one else will support that either. If you are going to change the platform-maybe you should have thought about notifying your customers? Obviously, customers don't matter-money in their pocket is what matters! read more

Today should be 0 stars!!! Been a customer for a 5+ years and would have previously rated them good but they are constantly changing rules and not notifying customers and even their employees of new rules and protocol. Management at this location is certainly lacking and a few are even completely downright rude and dismissive with no customer service tack at all. For your sake, don't ask to leave boxes from your newly unboxed items at the warehouse even though for 5+ years this has been the norm. Most employees even gladly take them from you voluntarily. Told numerous times that they reuse them!! Rude employee that helps park cars told me I was not allowed to leave them today and then manager told me that employees would never allow boxes to be left and don't voluntarily take them to dispose. Maybe they should check their video footage and see that this happens hundreds of times a day. If this is protocol, why doesn't everyone know this and why am I called a liar for bringing to their attention that this has always been the normal before today? Totally missing the mark on customer service and rudeness to the folks that make them who they are! read more

Bought a car refrigerator. They said new in box, the box was trashed. They said it was new, it had many exterior scratches. On the inside it had Food particles, and scratches from aluminum can contact. They said it had no missing parts, no cord to plug it in. The Bluetooth won't connect. One star is too much. Gas is too expensive to spend a day driving back and forth to be ripped off, lied to and bent over. Shame on you. Never again will I shop there and certainly never recommend them read more

Im obsessed! At this point I may have an addiction. The inventory changes so much that you'll always find something you may need. Honestly I go to Nellis first before I pay full price for anything. The team that works there are so kind and once you're checked in your items come out instantly. My longest wait may have been just under 10 minutes and that was because I went during a busy time. The idea of getting a deal is alluring but please be aware of Nellis Action in Mesa AZ. and if you do shop be ready for misleading item descriptions. Don't like the changes. No more 1$ minimum bid. Will no longer be using. customer service also just changed from having phone reps to being done through email. I spent double just because of minimum bids being higher when I was the first bidder. Selection has also been poor. Lots of bad quality items, hiked retail price reported so you think you're getting a better deal than you are, damaged caused by Nellis employe knives. And way too many items being marked as new or no damage when they are not functional or significantly damaged. read more

I've officially picked up my last order from Nellis Auction and I am so sad about it. This place used to be the best. I have returned every single purchase I have made in the past few weeks (over 50) due to poor quality, missing pieces and inaccurate descriptions. I triple check every listing description before bidding and still pick up useless products every time. On top of that, they have implemented a new "minimum bid price" which doubles the prices of the useless items. It is simply not worth bidding anymore. I am giving stars to the pick up employees. Pick up at this location is clean, easy and efficient. However check your items for quantity and complete order. Bought two items described as new in box / no missing parts. Got home and found out both power cords were missing. Auction is 1.5 hours away from home. Buyer beware. read more

Customer service has gone from good to horrible since Nellis replaced live reps with AI. I have made returns that I never got credit for. One store credit of $20 disappeared before I could use it. Of course when you try to get a rep on the phone to resolve it you can't Then you send an email and AI sends you a response that says "ticket resolved" but doesn't say how & nothing appears changed on your account & your question remains unanswered. The items are frequently broken even on 5 star items. A good win price is useless if one has to drive an hour to get to the auction to pick up a broken or screwed up win. I am going to pause bidding for a few months, then see if they have made any improvements. read more

Nellis is definitely manipulating the bids. An item will show current price of $30, and min bid amount $31 you enter $31 now the min is $34. There not the only company ripping off consumers. Just know it only happens because Americans continue paying the prices. Stop collectively and see what happens. read more

Pros: The Mesa location has such a better customer service compared to the Phx location. They are way friendlier and seem better organized upfront than the Phx location. Cons: It is far away from everywhere and unfortunately, out of the 3 orders I have processed with them, they all three were faulty product, or I got something completely different from the what was advertised or in the pictures. On top of that they don't reimburse you some of their extra fees they charge as part the sales process nor give you any courtesy or credit for having to drive back for more than an hour to process the returns. read more

As long as you read the notes before you bid and buy, you can score some really good deals. I have won bids and purchased 174 items. Of those, I have returned 11 items. Their returns are simple, and the funds returned quickly. If you set an appointment for your pickup, they bring it out in a couple minutes. Their description of items is sometimes short, but if you know what you're looking for, everything you need to know is there. There are many new items available. If something is broken, they tell you in the item description. I have all my Christmas and birthday presents for this year in the garage already. read more

It's so frustrating being excited about winning items and then when you go and pick them up they always give you different things because their staff doesn't know how to accurately list or describe items. Don't waste your time because you'll end up having to return a lot of what you think you won. Not a one time occurrence either. Have had a filter set to 5 star items and the Mesa site. On several occasions, I have gone to look at the picture of the item interested in, then when returning to menu to save the item and/or bid on it, your software functionality does not work. It will return me back to a different item, hthen I can not find the original item. Also in the process, I loose my filter and end up looking at stuff in a different warehouse a cross town 60 miles away. Not realizing it has lost my filter criteria, and I win a bid, when I go to pick up, I find out it's in a different location. If you would link the filter to the log in, and let the user change it if he wants to, it would eliminate a lot of issues. End up with used items missing parts that said "no missing parts" or "no damage". Have experienced both scenarios, which is very frustrating. Purchased a new 5* toilet described as 2 piece w/soft close seat new, and pictured in listing as such. Paid over $300. When I picked up, it was only the seat??? When I questioned the load outperson, I got a very lame excuse, which if analyzed, it all falls back on Nellis for inadequate procedures in pictures, descriptions and even listing when it did not match. The drive through spots to a QR code are/were extremely efficient for persons in a hurry to pick up winnings. There is now a cowboy hat guy over-managing what was efficient, and states the drive through spots are only for persons with trucks. I doubt I'll be buying a truck to shop at Nellis! read more
