In my personal opinion if you're open hours start at 10 AM then you should be open and ready to do business at that time. We walked in about 10:05 AM as we wanted to let her get in the door (and someone followed her in). We had to buzz to get in. She was already saying something through the speaker at us, but we went ahead and walked in the door. Without any greeting she said I won't be ready for 10 to 15 minutes ! Why don't you go over to Starbucks and get a coffee! And then said "Do you have an appointment?!" We immediately turned around and left! Her tone was rude, she could've addressed it so much differently like could you please give me a couple of minutes? Everything seemed abrupt. Like we were putting her out because we wanted to come spend money at her store. I have not needed an appointment to look at jewelry for a possible purchase anywhere before. Needless to say... I will not be walking through their doors again. We already had another jeweler that we use on Alma school and Queen Creek Road area that we've been more than happy with for purchases and repairs! She said today they closed early at 2pm and were going to be closed on Friday and closed the weekend. This conversation took place at 1:15. I said do I need to make an appointment? She said if you can get here before 2, I can make this happen for you. Parking was a bit of a challenge, but they were so kind to let me come in at 1:50p to sell this coin. Their fee is only 2.5%. I could have waited till next Thursday to make this happen. However, the market with gold is been fluctuating. I would definitely recommend.

I had a very positive experience dealing with the Bullion and Coin Exchange…read more I've purchased both gold and platinum bullion from the Exchange, and always received my orders quickly, along with a tracking numbers sent to me in advance. (I'm 3.5 hours north of the Exchange in Oklahoma City.) So many people get frustrated when their bullion orders don't come in quickly, but they fail to recognize that a) there can be glitches in any delivery system, and that b) most precious metals are shipped with signature confirmation required upon delivery. (A consumer has to be both diligent and patient when purchasing precious metals to be delivered on site.) I myself don't care for numismatics, but know many "coin people" in Dallas who patronize the Exchange for collectible coins and other currency. All I've spoken to have had great things to say about their dealings. Their bullion prices are comparable to nearby "big boy" JM Bullion, and the service I've received from the Exchange was equally warm and friendly. (That's always a huge bonus.) Very professional.
