Not very good, pretty bland food and it was expensive. Queso tastes like the same stuff you buy in a jar at the gas station. Reminded me a lot of airport food, it is edible but you are not very satisfied. Fiesta is a better bet if you're looking for a big plate with tons of flavor. read more

We were very excited about the new Tex Mex place in town. My first visit was fantastic...such delicious chicken fajitas! I was anxious to take my GFs there, but this time, my experience was only fair. We were all seated at 5:15, served our food relatively quickly, then within 10 minutes of being served our food, our waitress asked if we were splitting the check and could she get us some To-Go boxes. We were still eating, and it felt a little rushed. About 6:00 we left the restaurant, feeling a bit pushed out. They weren't crazy busy, and there was only one party waiting when we passed the Hostess booth. I will definitely go back, but hope to be able to enjoy a more relaxed dinner hour. read more

Some of my girlfriends and I went to Merry Piglets for a lunch and we had the SWEETEST cutest little redhead server. She was so kind and made us so comfortable and taken care of. I've been here before and it was a great experience, this time was different. Came in with my friend only to order apps, our apps took longer than expected, which is totally fine we understand that sometimes the kitchen get backed up and it was a Friday. They didn't have a waitlist and they didn't seem to busy in the restaurant. Our server talked to us a total of 3 times, every time she talked to us we could barley hear her not sure if it was the music or the fact that she was kind of whispering. By the time our apps got to us the queso was cold, and taquitos were fine. Our queso..... COLD, it took our server about 10 minutes to check on us, during those ten minutes we saw 2 managers talking to other guests, while our server was visibly in the server station standing TALKING to co workers. By the time she came we asked her to heat up our queso, my friend states that as she took the queso and turned away from us she dipped her finger in THE QUESO!!!! (Not professional) came back and gave us THE SAME QUESO - which she dipped her finger in and it was Warm. Just Warm. Not a big deal with the temperature but everything leading up to it was not okay. To finish it off they didn't give us share plates.... We used napkins. On top of all that, the cup I was drinking out of smelled like cleaner. Literally smelled like sanitizer, not even a straw. The chips were stale. Not even warmed up. Cold and stale. The last time i came in the chips were fine. Unfortunately we didn't get to ask her for plates or for new chips.... why? well because she didn't check in on us. She wasn't even talking to other guests, it wasn't ideal. As someone who has been in the service industry I understand mistakes but I also understand the purpose of professionalism, this server need to work on a lot of things. Maybe the kitchen too in order to make sure the queso isn't cold or that it's timed out perfectly. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at BCRG. I don't want to go to a restaurant where... -They give out COLD QUESO - Bad customer service - stale AND cold chips - No share plates - Water that smells like Sanitizer - And where the servers are unprofessional and violated a health code. - And take 20 minutes to bring the check after visibly seeing us done. read more

Service was good, drinks were OK, but not great. I had the Asada Burrito. I don't know what it was but the burrito, refried beans, everything on the plate had a weird and strong metallic taste. I couldn't eat more than a little, it was so bad. read more

The best Tex-mex I've had in years. Server was attentive enough and was prompt in taking drink and food orders. Servers appeared to cover for one another in delivering drinks and food. Food is good. It's Tex Mex. Ambiance ok. Very disappointed in the service. Arrived at 5 pm on a Tuesday. There were almost as many employees as customers. It took way too long to get our dinner order. I saw the beer I ordered sit on the bar for 10 minutes. My wife asked for a side of sour cream which showed up after she was done eating her meal. She was ok after I gave her my sour cream. Too many employees chatting and not making the rounds. We did have one young gal who stopped by our table to check on us a few times (not our server) while taking away our dirty plates etc. Tip should all go to her. For an established restaurant group (Blue Collar) in town this was very disappointing. Will not be back for a few months. Hopefully they will get some of this stuff sorted out. read more

Tried the Cowgirl dip, combo fajitas and relleno-enchilada combo. We spent entirely too much time eating the dip it was so good- beware! The fajitas could feed two and were de-licious, Very smoky flavor from the grill. Really flavorful dinner, lots of food. Our server Lila was great too. read more

Been twice so far. Food quality and preparation were pretty disappointing for the price both times. Margaritas too sweet and not really appetizing after the first one. Unfortunately Blue Collar Restaurant group just puts out very basic Applebees/Chilis style food with some flare in some varying degree. Sidewinders is the only place worth going because you know what you'll get. Bring back Nordic. Piglets won't last too long. Came across the Merry Piglets and decided to try it. A great choice. Had a little bit of a wait (busy) on a Monday evening but the manager, Kate, took great care of us! Very nice decor! Got the taquitos and they were very good. Salsa was fantastic! Ordered the Fajita combo, Carne Asada and chicken. It was a good choice! I wish they had charro beans as an option but that would be nit picking! We are from TX. and this was a great surprise for the Bozeman area. We will definitely be back! read more

This is my first review of a business ever. As a native Texan who has been here for a year and moved here from San Antonio (the birthplace of "Tex-mex" ) this is the closest thing to authentic Tex Mex I have tasted since moving here. The first time I came the food was admittedly slightly bland, and I found myself adding salt to the dishes (something I never do in restaurants). However, the flavors were spot on even then, and they have improved with each subsequent visit. We now are going once a week, because it is a taste of home. I NEED this restaurant to do well. I've been so jaded with the Mexican food here that I basically gave up on it all together, but this is good for the soul. Also to the people complaining about the greasiness.. sorry but Tex Mex is cheesy and greasy. This is not health food. I'm sure living here you'll hike, bike, run off the calories anyways.
