Most eaterys, restaurant or mcdonalds style places are just not good and are not even worth going to. Mera on the other hand is the few exceptions. The prices for the items are fair for their quality. So far from all my items I ordered: pizza, falafel and pasta with chicken, everything is at least average. The pizza is good, better than 70% of pizzerias that sell pizza for $3 a slice; if Mera made a pizza establishment, it would force every pizza place to realize their pizza is bad for the price. The falafel was okay, but all the ingredients were natural. I could taste home-made hummus, not store brought. I could taste freshly sliced onions with fresh vegetable toppings. Okay tasting, but very natural, almost, too natural. The chicken with pasta was the worst thing to eat. I believe it was average or at worst, 4.5/10 tasting, but I'll just leave it at average. The only issue is that it costed $18. If it was $14, I would just stamp it as okay and to forget about ordering this item. Overall, Mera is an above average eatery with a fair price tag. You won't be too happy, but surely, you will leave without a negative feeling, like I have. *** Update** This place only makes good basil mozerella and tomato pizza . All their other pizzas are not worth the high price tag and only taste normal . Bizzare how you can only make 1 good type of pizza and make meh others . Also after ordering their chicken wings , I can tell you that for $14 , 5 slighlty above average tastting pieces of boned chicken with good tasting sauce is not worth it . $3 a wing almost. I would only reccomend ordering a simple basil mozeella pizza that is a small pizza for $14 . Anything else , I could not reccomend for the price . read more

Cute romantic Mediterranean restaurant located few blocks from my apartment. It's been under construction for some time and they finally open! Came with my girlfriends on a Thursday night and let me tell you we thoroughly enjoyed our drinks, deserts, hookah and more! First off, there was a dj spinning on a Thursday night with really good music, it wasnt those obnoxious loud club songs so we were able to still have conversation and hear each other. The deCor was very romantic and elegant with a large gold mirror at the bar and hanging light fixtures, the red wall lighting made it very romantic. Service was quick and we love our waitress she was very attentive! We had dinner prior to this so we only tried deserts and drinks! Definitely try the strawberry cheese cakes and baklava they were super tasty reminds me of those homemade ones. The hookah was very flavor full we had the strawberry banana and it lasted super long since we were there until midnight enjoying the music. This is truly a gem of a place with great ambiance and laid back vibe. Cant wait to come back this weekend and try more of there food plus our waitress said there's Dj's on the weekends too! Found my new spot in Bk that has manhattan vibes but without actually going to the city for over price food and drinks! I highly recommend!! read more

I randomly came across this restaurant with a couple of friends and decided to give it a shot. I wish we had found this place earlier because everything about it was AMAZING. To start off, the interior of the restaurant was super cute and sets a good vibe. Not only that, but the service was impeccable and our server made sure to check up on us throughout the night. I ordered the chefs burger and fries which was delicious and definitely exceeded my expectations. Even though I wasn't that hungry prior to dinner, I finished everything on the plate because it was THAT good. Overall, amazing food and amazing service. I honestly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. We decided to give it a try on Valentine's Day, but it was a huge mistake. They overbooked the restaurant, and it was clear they didn't have enough servers or staff to handle the rush. We waited over an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was freezing cold food. The food was just awful, not even close to being worth the wait. To top it off, the manager was unhelpful and completely unsympathetic to our experience. Don't waste your time here -- there are much better places to go. read more

The meal always starts with warm, soft bread served with herbs and a generous pour of true Greek olive oil. It's the perfect way to begin, and the olive oil is so rich and high quality, it instantly transports you to the Mediterranean. The Greek salad is a staple for me bright, crisp, and refreshing. It's the ultimate summer dish with juicy tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, and that perfect tang of feta. Every bite tastes like sunshine. The kalamarakia (fried calamari) is always fresh and never fishy light, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. The saganaki is another must: golden and crispy on the outside, with gooey, melted cheese inside, lightly drizzled with honey. It's a beautiful balance of salty and sweet, crunchy and soft. But we went to La Marza back in June for my cousin's birthday, and honestly, we weren't even supposed to end up there. The place we originally planned on going to did some real trickery with our reservation, and it turned into this whole last-minute "Okay, so where are we going now?" situation. And that's how we ended up at La Marza. Honestly? It worked out. First of all, the hookah was AMAZING. Really, really good. They have a cute little list of flavors to choose from, and we definitely enjoyed ourselves with that. The drinks were good too. Don't ask me what mine was called. I'm sorry, y'all. I DON'T REMEMBER. I just know it was delicious. But what I DO remember... THOSE WAGYU SLIDERS. Baby. Those have to be some of the best Wagyu sliders I have ever had. HANDS DOWN. Juicy. Tender. Flavorful. DELICIOUS. They left me wanting more, and honestly, that's the part of the night my stomach apparently decided was important enough to commit to memory. We also got some French fries because... You're drinking. You have hookah. DUH. YOU NEED FRIES. Like, why wouldn't we get fries? We didn't really do a full dinner because, like I said, this was a last-minute change of plans. But we definitely looked through the menu, and I saw lamb chops. And y'all know I am a sucker for some lamb chops. So immediately I was like, Oh, we're gonna have to come back. The overall vibe was really cool. Good music, good service, good drinks, good hookah, good food, and we had a GOOD TIME. And sometimes that's really all you need. I wish I could give y'all pictures. I wish I could remember the name of my drink. I wish I had more food to tell you about. But I can't. What I CAN tell you is... The hookah hit. The drink hit. Those Wagyu sliders HIT. The music was good. The vibes were good. And a time was had. We'll definitely be going back and doing it properly next time because I still have my eye on those lamb chops. But for a place we ended up at completely by accident? La Marza understood the assignment. Good vibes. Good food. Good fun. Good time. I mean... What more can you ask for?
