This was a cool spot to come with a few friends for some hookah. They currently don't have alcohol so if you're looking to drink keep that in mind. They do have great hookah and decent food and they're open pretty late. They also have various board games scattered around that you are free to play which I think is a really nice touch. For food we ordered the boneless chicken wings and fries and they were pretty good. They also have other items such as tea, coffee and rice platters. It was a nice chill spot and the staff was friendly! I would return in the future!

I have been to other hookah places and this one was one I really liked! At first we weren't really sure what to order, but we went with watermelon and passion fruit as our flavors. We got our hookah on a watermelon hehe it was great! The person regularly comes to switch out the hookah charcoal. The prices were great and overall would recommend this place. We went on a friday night and it wasn't too packed!! They serve food; we got some fries! They also have tips with candy on them. I got one so I could use a bigger tip, but the candy flavor doesn't make much difference. At each table they have different card and board games, so it's a great place to go with friends!

Hookah bars are a dime a dozen these days, especially in the Bay Ridge area. After my favorited place took a turn for the worst, I've been looking for a better suited replacement. When my beau developed an insane craving for saklaab, it was Yelp to the rescue, finding this place for us. While I was idling in the car, he ran out to see if they served it. Giving me an enthusiastic thumbs up, I know parking was the next challenge of the night. The place seems very mysterious on the outside, but inside feels like you're in a Moroccan family's living room, with the low hanging Middle Eastern lanterns, and woven rugs on the walls. The booths are comfortably arranged with fluffy pillows as you settle into your hookah mellow mood. The flavors are extensive!! Melon, rose, apple, cherry - the list goes on and on! Apparently, a lot of people opted to have an orange or grapefruit to better filter their hookah for a more citrus-y experience; I didn't try it this time, but next time I will! The saklaab did take long to make (about 20+ minutes) but it was delicious; the little mixed nuts thrown into the mix was a great addition, served in a hommie mug. Two flat screens to keep you entertained, or, bring your friends and get loud!

Was sick of being a steinway local for hookah, so my boyfriend and I decided to come to Brooklyn. The first thing you notice about Lamoza as soon as you enter is that it's so aesthetically pleasing. The decor is different and the seating is also really comfortable. We were greeted as soon as we entered, and the menus were brought to us immediately. Since it was our first time here, we decided to try something simple, and ordered a watermelon mint hookah ($10). The hookah was amazing, the pull was thick and smooth, and it lasted us over 2 hours without getting harsh. Coal change is a problem I face in most lounges, however someone was constantly making rounds to see if we had enough coals. They were playing decent music throughout the night and I like how it didn't get too loud. My only complaint would be the fact that their wifi wasn't working. I'm not sure if thats a regular problem, or if we just happened to stop by on a bad night. Regardless of that problem, we had a great experience and would definitely stop by again!

Came here with a couple of friends on New Years Eve. It has a great atmosphere and is probably the most comfortable and chill Hookah lounge in the area. I find that a lot of lounges around the neighborhood are more like an 'older men's club' and are a bit intimidating as a young female to enter. It is not the case here, you'll find all ages, all genders, and the staff is super welcoming and nice. They even gave everyone New Year party favors to help ring in 2019. They offer a great assortment of flavors in hookah and I especially loved the Turkish Coffee I had too.

Summary-- This is probably the best hookah place in Brooklyn. A super student-friendly place. They have a really good hookah-flavour selection. Amazing milkshakes. Board games, good music and a casual ambience. Details- Hookah- (5/5) The hookah was a really nice, huge grapefruit head that lasts really long. The flow was smooth and very fresh till the end. New , hygienic pipes. Great flavour selection and fancy hookah options. The server made it perfectly well. Shakes- (5/5) I had an Oreo shake. It was perfect. Right from the ice cream to toppings, it was just amazing. Haven't had a better shake for that price. Ambience- (4/5) Pretty casual. They have good music and it's not too loud. There are various screens for sports and matches. Ideal place to watch a game with hookah. Menu selection (4/5) - They have a great selection of chicken dishes and lots of vegetarian options. The hummus, wraps and sandwiches are simply delicious. Just ask the waitstaff for vegetarian options Incase you're a vegetarian and they could get it for you.

Mixed grill amazing so much flavor

This is my go to place for hookah in bayridge, first time I ordered food here I was shocked, pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Very tasty fresh and seasoned to perfection, I would have never ordered food here if we were not starved, but let me tell you, the food is great. Now we can come for food to, not just hokah. The only thing is they don't serve alcohol, and they always bring you bottled water Poland spring, and they charge for it. Also I believe they include the gratuity on the bill. So make sure to check, before you double tip, although I allways double tip good service.

Good hookah, good prices, nice ambience, and great throwback music playing all the time. Fun place to go to just hangout, have some hookah, or grab a bite of something to eat. Oreo milkshake is great and my friend and I shared the Lamoza Sampler which has a good amount to split between two people. Service is really good as well and staff is attentive.

I liked the char on the burger, gave it that smoky grilled bite that hits, but I asked for medium rare and got medium well, so the temperature was overdone, made it a bit dry and less flavorful than I wanted. Bar Chuzo has the restaurant and bar attachment which is where we dined. I happen to like the bar room for dining, it's charming and quieter for a Sunday brunch. Bar Chuzo offers really nice Brunch selections from ceviche, salchipapas, tuna, steak and apps from delicious fries, calamari, crab, plantain chips, croquettes and so much more. Here's what we ordered: Apps- Plantain chips( dinamita !) with a side of salsa verde. The wait staff was equally charming and attentive and we were directed to the QR code for the menu immediately. It was late afternoon so we opened the Happy Hour menu and it was surprisingly comprehensive. There were cocktails and specialty drinks all discounted for happy hour and a surprisingly large happy hour food menu. The cocktails were excellent (be sure to order a Crystal if you enjoy gin, or an espresso martini which my wife said was excellent) and we ordered Guacamole and chips and oysters which were à la carte and very reasonably priced. My wife doesn't care for oysters so I just ordered a couple for myself. They were beautifully presented on a bed of ice with a fresh lemon, a fresh spicy green mixture instead of horse radish and a sweet but spicy hot sauce. They were wonderful. The guacamole came with home made chips that were thick and well done so they held up to the guac very well. The guac was delicious and a bit chunkier than other places but the texture was wonderful with the thicker chips. For an entree, we chose Chuzos, skewered and grilled chunks of meat (chicken for my wife and NY Strip Steak for me) marinated and grilled to perfection. Both entrees came with large kernel corn which I had never tried before and yuca croquettes, also my first time. The corn was delicious but the kernels were a bit more like beans rather than the corn kernels you might be used to. The yuca croquettes were delicious and probably indistinguishable from potato croquettes in case you are worried you may not enjoy yuca. We actually finished neither entree and the kitchen packed our leftovers carefully for today's lunch (there was PLENTY left over). There was a nice dessert menu but we'll save that for another time. I cannot say enough good things about Bar Chuzo. The staff was friendly and attentive but not hovering or rushing. The food and cocktails were excellently prepared, reasonably priced but not cheap and the dining rooms were beautifully decorated. I will DEFINITELY be back to Bar Chuzo and if you haven't been, I urge you to check them out. You will not be disappointed.
