On a random Tuesday me and a couple of ppl stop by here. Well it wasn't that random It was my friends birthday. We heard that the hookah and drinks were pretty good, so we decided to cross that bridge and see what's up. ( staten islanders always have to cross a bridge lol) When we got there the host was very welcoming ... like he actually likes his job. The atmosphere gave a very chill elegant but lay back vibe. We order an espresso martini with cognac ( that's my go to ) it was a 7.5 We got the love 66 with a splash of mint and the hookah was busting I give it a 8.5. But all in all it was a good time but also a little price. But they'd did give us conplementary shot for being the only ppl there on a Tuesday I guess lol read more

Top-down favorite place to go and party, hang out with friends, even celebrate a holiday in Brooklyn. I really love the chicken wings and their Mac and cheese, especially, the nachos, obsessed with the food really and they have one of the best hookas the area! It could get a bit crowded in there. But always being patient with the servers and enjoying your time with watching TV or the company you brought or even meeting people there. It's really a great vibe. Also happy hour here is AMAZING!!! All day Mondays and mon-fri 5-8 read more

**Red Oak** - Come as friends, leave as smoky legends! Hookah? Super smooth & fun flavors (fruit ones are the MVP). Add a little vodka twist if you're feeling fancy. Food's actually tasty - wings, burgers, falafel all hit the spot. Couches are cozy, music's chill, red lights make everything cute. Open till 2am - perfect for late-night laughs with the crew. Super welcoming vibe. 10/10 would bring my besties again! read more

Came here on a Saturday night. I've heard about Red Oak before, but it was our first time coming. I love how there were two security guards out front, making you feel safe and knowing they are not allowing any shenanigans to go down. Towards the front of the bar, there are tables and chairs right across from the bar. We were seated at the back part, where it's more of a lounge vibe. We order strawberry margaritas and a coconut margarita. I was surprised with the size of the margarita. It's served in a nice tall cocktail glass. Prices are reasonable. Hookah was good. The dj on Saturday night was on point. We were singing and vibing out the whole night. Our server Natalie was super attentive. She kept checking on us, making sure we were good. I liked how one of the staff members went around making sure the hookah remained hot by turning and adding more coals. Love the vibes of this place. We will definitely be returning! read more

Came here with friends who enjoy hookah. Seems like they enjoyed it while I had my drinks. The drinks were strong and delicious. I can't stand that parking is so terrible in the area but that's not their fault. Service was cool and the DJ had nice music. read more

The amount of times and travels from Staten Island I've done for this place for 5 + years now and putting all my friends on. There was 8 of us and they denied one friend for having crocs on when I was literally just wearing crocs last Friday and have plenty of times before that too after spending $400. This place is ridiculous and I'm so confused as to why they would deny a group of 8 all because of some shoes. Never coming back here again ! thank you. read more

I was there for a farewell party for a friend. The place is nice enough, but the space in the backroom has lots of flaws. Its too small with the music set too loud. There is no need to blast the speakers when the room is about the size of a living room (maybe a bit bigger). Also, ITS HOT IN THERE! They have a couple of cheap fans, but when you are serving hookah in a tiny room full of people the room in the middle of summer, the room is going to heat up fast! It doesn't matter that the lights are dimmed. The food is just whatever (think standard bar food). Its not a bad little place (the servers were very nice). I would go back if I was in the area and wanted a quick drink, but I probably wouldn't make an effort to choose that spot. read more

If you want a fun and cool hookah spot this place is it! My friend and I ordered a hookah inside a pineapple with the ice in it a MUsT try! We got wings nachos and Mac and cheese , the mac & cheese was my favorite. It was extremely cheesy and delicious. On the weekends, they have a live DJ that was fun. They were playing all the hits. Definitely check them out ! Be warned the drinks are strong! read more

Red Oak - Red Oak's Classic Burger - New American Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Stopped by for a drink with an old friend. We both a had drink called the French 85 which consist of Hennessy passion fruit and something similar to a sprite which was pretty tasty. Not that strong. The bartender was alil flustered she was working alone and it was alil busy for a Wednesday night but she held it down and apologized for the wait and gave us a tasty green tea shot which I enjoyed. We also had the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls they were ok alil dry I was expecting alil but more cheese inside the dipping sauce replaced that void. The ambiance is nice the music selection was good. They also have hookah and an open area in the back for larger groups nice spot read more

I really enjoyed this place. I came on a Sunday with my family. There was nobody here, so I decided it would be perfect for my first curbside meal during Covid. The owner, I believe, who seemed to have played all roles, was very pleasant. He was there with what seemed like only one other person, but managed to move very quickly and handle everything all by himself. We all orders cheeseburgers and had mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. The cheeseburger is a double burger, I don't believe the menu mentioned that, but as it was my cheat meal for the week, I didn't mind one bit! I went with a strawberry coconut frozen drink, it was equally as pleasant. Along with the grwat food, service, comfortable outside seating, we also got some great tunes. A lot of older classic R&B and Rap hits from the 90s and early 2000s was playing(without profanity which was a plus because my eight year daughter was with us) All and all, I throughly enjoyed my meal and experience here. I'd definitely return in the future. Just an FYI tip is automatically included in your bill. read more

The best hookah in the area and one of the top hookahs in Brooklyn. Cute spot, perfect for a little fun date night or girls night out. Good music, good food, good drinks and good service since everyone is super friendly. It's a local spot so many go on the regular but on the weekends it's more of a lit scene. read more

Food has foreign crap in it and is definitely not worth your money, or risking getting sick or damaging your teeth chomping down on bone or a rock or whatever the fuck this was. Called immediately to let the so-called general manager know an the stupid bytch had an attitude worse than the food. No wonder this place sucks. Thankfully the department of health exists and can straighten this fools out. Was it worth it dummy? Next time at least pretend to give a damn about your job, trick. read more

I give this place 5 stars solely because they have a fruit plate on the menu. I love having the option to eat fruits as a meal when I go to a restaurant/lounge. The staff was nice and helpful -- especially with my special requests. They came out to talk to us to make sure everything was okay. They even made us a sample of a Henny/BBQ sauce and it was delicious and I usually hate BBQ/Henny lol. Also! Their wings are CRACK. We had to order 3x because every time we finished the previous plate, we craved more. I would come back here solely for their wings and I don't even like wings. The music was good and the environment was chill. I would return here again if I wanted to go out and be social and not have to worry about a crowded/overpriced club. read more

Order review- Overpriced and had missing items on entire order. I haven't been inside of the establishment but the fact that my order didn't come with anything that was promised besides plain burgers and fries and yet still charged $14-$18 (for each of what we ordered) is just ridiculous. The order would've been worth it had it come with all of the sides promised with the entire meal. Photo for proof I had their food. Sliders looked good, tasted not bad but they're definitely not worth $14. read more

Don't sleep on Red Oak. Amir has put together a terrific menu of delicious food that will more than satisfy any taste. The staff is professional, cordial and willing to go out of their way to provide a fantastic evening out. Mo creates a positive and relaxed vibe for patrons so they can enjoy themselves and let off some steam after work and into the night. I have been there many times and the place is kept pristine, from the bar to the back room spotless and clean. Of course there are numerous drink offerings that will kick start the evening and the hookah is the best in the entire city. Amir, Waleed and Mo have made Red Oak a legit 5 Star restaurant / bar / hookah lounge. They have great music and even have sports on big screen TV's all over the establishment. Bay Ridge has been blessed with a Winner Here. read more

This isn't a place to go for food nor should it be considered a restaurant. If you are looking for a hookah bar then this is the place to go. Service isn't great as nothing is explained when you walk in. The ambiance is that of early 2000s and seating is is all at the bar area with no real comfort of sitting at a real table setting. I cannot comment on food as I decided to eat at another restaurant read more

I have mixed feeling about this place But this night thet DROPPED THE BALL ALL MOST IN EVERYTHING:( Worst night. We order 2 personal hookah, my friends came right away, i needed to remind about mine 3 times in the next 35min (when all the tablets that came after us got theirs ) The waiter wasnt so professional (she gotta do old school if can't remember, ***WRITE IT DOWN***) 1 OF MY FRIENDS ORDER NACHOS its took 20 min to get to the table, the other friend order Heineken its took him 3 more times to remind about about his beer and 45 min to get to the table My other freind order another "NO JALAPENOS" After 30 min they Brought it to a different table, but it was with Jalapenos. Suggestions t ok the owner: 1) get at list 2 waitress on a friday night. 2) keep one inside the inside room at all time (I don't feel comfortable going on a trip looking for them) 3) stop hiring college girls, for 18% service that you Included in the bill Then have to be a bit more professional (or at list write down what pple asking ) 4) I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE GUY THAT CHANCHING THE Coils more often is the back room And not after 4 times calling to some one changing it. 5)AND PLEASE DO SOMETHING with the HUMMUS (Its TERRIBLE) THANK YOU read more

I have never felt so ripped off from a restaurant in my entire life. Omg!! They had Sahlab last night!!! I felt like a pregnant woman that needed to quiet a bizarre craving! My boyfriend loves Sahlab, so, at 11PM last night, we grabbed a mutual friend in search for some. We got to sit outside under the canopy tent, and listened to a pretty wicked mix of international music as we sipped and chatted into the early morning. The chairs are a bit uncomfortable, but they served the purpose. Little votive candles adorn the white linen tables, and it's always a great laid back vibe. They won't rush you out to accommodate other patrons; I like that. Baklava was my dessert of choice, but had a twist drizzled in chocolate instead of honey; perfect for your sweet, sweet sugar suicide. Thanks for always hosting a great friends night! read more

I've been going to red oak for about five years. Nice hookah bar they place really good music. They are open late so it's usually where I go for some last minute fun. The food tastes like it's frozen food with sauce thrown over it, so I definitely wouldn't go for the food. The waitresses are nice ( depending on who you get) there's one really nice woman with really long hair always super pleasant, the other ones not so much. They have a really cool option for hookah that has a cute ice tip ( cute for Instagram ). The decor however is outdated so if you're looking for somewhere to take photos this isn't the place. If you are looking for somewhere to dance & do some hookah on a late night then this is the place for you. Also I took away one star for the overpriced food and watered down drinks. read more

A very next relax chill spot. To come and hang with your friends or a little calm date night. I had a good time. I had the hot wings and 2 patron slushy frozen drinks and the ice vapor hookah. It was my first time trying the ice hookah and I loved it. The music was good. read more

Thought they closed at 4am, they actually closed at 2. We showed up an hour before closing but the manager was still very accommodating to us. This was a good spot for hookah, drinks and some food. It looks small but when you go inside there's actually a back area that is air conditioned so it's not super hot. They have frozen and regular drinks available which were good. The food was decent, I just had the wings and the fries, just regular bar food. The hookah was decent too. They play good music. I would most likely come back. read more

So fun! First time there bc was with a group of 8 and had such a great time. A friend who lives in the area who is moving suggested it for the after party to her going away dinner. Hope to be in the area to do it all again. read more

I'm actually surprised this place got the stars it got. Pros: the manager was awesome . We had an issue with the bill, it was resolved swiftly. The hookah was ok Cons: literally everything else. The drinks taste like swill. (You'll have to send it back before you get what you actually ordered) The food is less than mediocre The music (on a Friday night) did not fit the atmosphere. The service was awful. We returned one drink and 30 minutes later when the bill came, the drink was on that bill. When we explained the concern to the waitress , she said "it was already served out of our bottle so we can't refund it " (at which point we asked for a manager and the waitress rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders ) where i come from the customer may not always be right, but at least doesn't get made to feel like they're absolutely wrong. Anyway, if you're looking for a local bay ridge hood spot , where you can have meh food, mediocre drinks, music from someone's iPad and an okish hookah this is your spot . read more

I love this place, I live in Queens and we were looking for something different to do instead of going to a hookah lounge around us. After finding Red Oak on Instagram we messaged them to make a reservation, on Halloween night I'll add. They got back to us super quick since something just opened up. They follow all the COVID 19 guidelines with taking temps, tables being 6ft apart, etc. The staff here was amazing. You could tell this is a neighborhood spot because everyone kinda knew each other, the great thing is that they treated us like we knew them forever. We felt pretty at home there. They have good hookah priced hookah, all fruit tops which was a nice twist. The food was great also, I would recommend the little steak sliders. I will for sure be going back! Thank you everyone at Red Oak. read more
