First of all, you have to pay for parking, which is unfortunate because on top of the already expensive tickets, which were about $45 each now you have to pay for stupid parking. Anyways, the outside looked pretty nice and we thought potentially it was worth since other reviews said it was very interactive and a fun place. Our group ages arranged from 21 to 60 years old and this is definitely a kid's place. Not much of it was interactive it was more of an art/retro vibe, which was pretty nice. But not what we thought it was. I thought it was gonna be a cool place where you could take pictures, maybe solve some sort of riddle but nothing of that nature. Just cool rooms with cool art scapes, but it was definitely way too full with kids and adult adults that we just did not as good of a time as we thought we were going to have. I purchased a Maine Coone kitten & consistently reached out with questions about the breeder & asked if I could see how he was being cared for prior to picking him up. I assumed it was local & asked the conditions & treatment of the mother cat. They never responded. When Hilton (renamed Harry Styles) was ready for pick up, I rushed to the location, expecting to see his mother & home where he was raised. Instead, it was a storefront with a security front entrance. Hilton was emaciated! He was sickly, skinny, filthy, covered in his own feces, and terrified. I learned that he had just been "shipped" from the Ukraine!!! He was malnourished & I was horrified. The drive home for him was not easy. He vomitted & pooped all over himself. I thought he was going to die. I had to rush him to the vet for care & learned he had a terrible respiratory infection & needed treatment right away. After reading other reviews, I wished I had done more research on this company. The lack of communication, treatment of animals, lack of transparency about pets origin, and support following adoption is with complete disregard that they are dealing with live beings that deserve the best care. With the costs they charge & state of the animals, they should be looked into further. The papers are all in Ukrainian & I cannot tell if they are truly authentic or know anything about my sweet boy. I'm so lucky he lived through the horrible experience he had with these breeders. Never again. Animals should be locally sourced with appropriate measures taken to ensure a healthy environment. Although we had a vet appointment scheduled within Meowoff's recommended window, his condition rapidly declined before his checkup; he became limp, unresponsive, and died shortly after we rushed him to an emergency hospital. The vet believed he had an upper respiratory infection that had progressed to pneumonia or sepsis. We asked about a necropsy, but the hospital said we'd need to drive to a university several hours away in the middle of the night. By the time we followed up the next day, they had already frozen his body, rendering the procedure ineffective. We notified Meowoff, explained everything, and asked how we should move forward. Meowoff indicated they could not "ethically" refund us (even partially) since we did perform a necropsy, but they had no ethical qualms about trying to sell us another kitten if we wanted a replacement. We asked for any documentation proving the kitten had been examined by a vet and deemed healthy to fly. We never received veterinary records despite them implying all their cats received checkups. Instead, they told us we violated their terms by contacting the breeder even though we see no such clause listed on their website. We only reached out because we were concerned for the health of the other cats in the cattery. My family loved Sirius, and losing him so quickly was extremely traumatic. We did everything we could -- we had a vet appointment scheduled, we responded when he declined, and we tried to follow all their policies. I write this so that others can be aware of what may happen and how difficult it can be to get support or accountability in the event of a loss. Touching on some positives before the bad..upon receiving my kitten, you can absolutely tell he was trained well when it came to his temperament&behavior. He immediately knew where the litter box was, used the scratch post & very friendly. His coat was excellent. Before taking my kitten home, i did every single bit of research on Persians, followed w lengthy questions via email to the company regarding the history, health history, testing, etc. I will say that the MeowOff website& customer service from the store you are contacting, is just a middle man for the breeders or brokerage that runs the cattery. They are not the ones who breed them, raise them or have any contact with the kittens until you pick yours up from their location. After reaching out with my many questions, I was told they would send it to the breeder&let me know the answers once they hear back. After several days, I received a very vague & short response that kind of danced around my more serious health questions. When it came to "finding a safe and suitable home for our kittens" I want to put out there from my experience, I was not asked a single question about what kind of environment my kitten would be homed in, what other pets I had, I was not told or asked when the kitten was scheduled to see the vet after pickup. It all felt very transactional&only about the money. The final unfortunate thing that left a very bad energy towards this company was on their website it specifically states that all cat breeds EXCEPT Persians (my kitten), exotic shorthair& Burmese due to their breed being prone to upper respiratory infections/compromised breathing issues, are NOT flown in pet cargo shipping. So on my end, I assumed my Persian would be shipped to the country NOT flying in the pet cargo since they have highlighted & acknowledged that breed as high risk&a compromising its safety. I picked my Persian up from the Chicago location. After 2 days of having my kitten, he came down with a sneeze, cough&discharge from his eyes & nose. I immediately brought him to the vet, he had an upper respiratory infection&they asked me if he was flown in cargo. I told them no, as that's what's stated on the website. The vet informed me kittens don't just pick up these infections, they have to be exposed to something in order for them to contract this. I took my kitten home with antibiotics& 2 days later he stopped eating/ began to vomit. At the vet for the second time not even within a week of having my kitten, I am told due to the stress of his URI, he is constipated & that's when they asked about his diet. After telling the vet that the breeder had him on a raw meat diet, she was concerned due to the safety & risks of parasites in raw meat, which can be dangerous. To be safe, we ran x rays/ blood work, etc to make sure he did not have an obstruction or parasites causing his stomach issues. I followed every direction I was given for his diet when I picked him up & none of this was making any sense. I contacted meow off & i found out that my kitten was flown from Ukraine to the USA in pet cargo! I very upset, mentioned to her that it clearly states on their website that this breed cannot be flown in cargo. She said, "well that's if the pet is flying out from Chicago location to other state." "Ukraine does not require a nanny assist for cat breeds but the USA does so that is why if he was to be flown to a different state, we have no choice." When I told her he had an URI& I'm now sitting w a $700 vet bill, she became defensive & said they are not responsible for new cats developing these infections & that I didn't ask how my cat would be flown in so therefore it's my fault? I was told if I wanted to bring my kitten back I could get a store credit but they were not responsible for any vet costs when I didn't even mention anything about them compensating, which raised another red flag that I am not the first person this happened to. I'm at my wits end with this kitten from MeoWoff. We purchased a Maine Coon kitten from Meowoff. They offer to spay the kitten before you pick it up which I thought was the most convenient option so we went with it. We had no issues with our kitten for a year until it started going into heat and peeing all over the house. After researching, they shouldn't be in heat after being spayed. I called to confirm that the kitten was spayed, and they said that it was. They asked for a video to prove that it was in heat. After providing a video, they then said that it is rare, but it is possible that when spaying, they didn't remove all of the necessary parts, so it can still be in heat. So basically, they mutilate the reproductive system so it cannot breed and be competition with them, but they don't care to do it properly so the cat is in heat and has been peeing all over the house for 2 months. I asked if they would cover the cost of spaying it properly and they declined and said it was a mistake and rare, kittens are small, etc. They told me I would have to pay on my own to have it spayed again. I made an appt, to have it spayed and they won't spay again without knowing that there are parts left, so I have to schedule time with a specialist to get an ultrasound before I spay it. This has been a nightmare that we are still going though every day. If you want a company that stands by their product and will help you when a mistake is made on their end, then GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! She knows how to use the litter box, is playful with everyone she meets, very socialized.Customer service was good and I got my kitten 2 weeks later than expected but that is my only complaint. We adopted a Maine Coon back in May. This kitten has SEVERE health and behavioral issues. We have taken him to the vet 4 times in 5 months, and he unfortunately isn't getting better. In addition to an awful case of feline herpes, he has some internal damage to some of his organs, and has pooped and peed outside of his litter box daily since DAY ONE. We should have known something was wrong, because this wasn't even the original kitten that we had chosen. That kitten wasn't able to be delivered to us, and no explanation was given. Even worse, I only found this out because I called after the original delivery date had passed, to ask when I'd be able to pick him up. At that point, I was told that there was some bad news, but they were "waiting to let me know until they had a backup." They invite you to view their pedigree kittens and once you have made a selection, the team will happily take your money unconditionally. Once they get your deposit, they fail to tell you about their terms of the contract. I've had to contact the better business bureau to file a complaint and I have also contacted the police to make a complaint and I am going to the media to report their reprehensible behavior and conduct. Upon arrival they state that they had a full mockup from a vet. We picked up our kitten, within 3 hours there was blood in stool. Then took (within 5 hours) to the vet. Found out the kitten has a stage 5 heart murmur and needs extensive tests. Over $3,000 spent in tests. When we emailed asking for at least a refund, they stated they would do nothing, and that we could "return the cat" if we wanted for store credit. BEWARE of this breeder, we are currently in a law suit over them as well, and have found out this is not the first issue! read more

We purchased a Scottish fold munchkin, he died less than a year later due to a heart defect. We, against our better judgment, bought another Scottish fold munchkin because our 3 young kids were heart broken. The cat from day 1 peed and pooped outside of the litter box. We tried every litter/litter Box on the market. We reached out to the company letting them know nothing is working. Their suggestions: lock the cat in a room with the litter box for a few days to force the cat to use it. We did, as soon as the cat was let out, she went to the bathroom out of the litter box. Their other insane suggestion: hire a feline psychiatrist. They then proceeded to say that it's not their problem, and there is nothing they can do. We have given these CRIMINALS $9,000 total. We just adopted a Maine Coon from them and it's been nothing but issues since we picked her up. We picked her up on Wednesday and took her to the vet on Thursday. She had an eye infection and was under weight and needed additional vaccinations. So that visit was $160.00. We noticed that she was not eating or drinking at all for two days so we brought her back to the vet. She needed an IV and the vet gave us several suggestions on things to stimulate her appetite and foods to try. This was another $160.00 visit. I bought everything that was suggested and tried everything and nothing. She would not eat or drink anything at all. Sunday morning she threw up (bile) twice. She was skin and bones. Spoke with MeoWoff and they said they would take her for the week to nurse her back to health. I am an experienced cat owner and this was bad. She also did not seem to be litter trained as we were told. She peed on the carpet twice. We worked with her on litter box training and she was starting to get the hang of it. In my opinion, these kittens are way too young to be traveling from Romania. If you want to adopt from a breeder, find one local or at least in the US and save yourself money and heartache.
