Came in a group and we bought 1 hour. Came out to a little over $80. The staff was friendly and informative. The girl with the braces who work there had some cute lashes and let us know not to ride on the sidewalks. I agreed not to ride on the sidewalks but when I saw Club Island 1515, I rode on the side walk but don't tell the police ‍ lol. We got on our scooters and I was like Ooooooh THEY GOT A BLUETOOTH SPEAKER! My entire ride felt like the club. I had my Apple Music playlist on Go! I ride motorcycles so wind blowing on me is everything while in motion. Like it really means something to me. I was so looking forward to this. Now this was my first time and I didn't know what I was doing. My cousin crashed one time but eventually got the hang of it lol. I was a little rusty starting off but got it down pretty fast. I had no idea they can go that fast. It was like 25mph which SOUNDS slow but uhm... rest assured it was not. Pressing the gas all the way down too fast will send you souring quickly. We rode around downtown for about 45 minutes then made our way back to Glyders using GPS of course. I don't know my way around the downtown of any city. They gave us free margaritas when we got back! They really rocked my world! Once we turned in our scooters, WE DIDNT REMEMBER WHERE WE PARKED . Glyders has a ATV they gave us a lift to where "we thought" my car was. We got off the ATV only to discover we were lost in the middle of downtown Houston lmao. We walked around hopelessly and hot. Lol It became exhausting and stressful. We looked and looked and walked and walked. Finally I was like HOLD UP I didn't sign up for this! I called Glyders and told them I was at the corner of Travis and Bell. They pulled up on us and picked us back up lol. They were like where did you park? US: "uhmmm... it was like a square parking lot that said $10 parking and we parked on the side so we didn't have to pay $10" lmao. This describes every parking lot downtown hahahaha. I took a picture in my iPhone on the walk to Glyders after we parked and it had Fannin street on the sign in the pic. The pic location told us it was taken off Fannin and Walker St. so Glyders took us there. I have never been So Happy to see my car ever in all of my life. I wanted to kiss the car window. GLYDERZ GETS 5 STARS only because they can't get 10 stars. We will definitely be back and I will definitely be bringing more people with me

In addition to having scooters, Swerv also has a snack bar, so we purchased some items to hydrate. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the place was nice and clean. The staff mentioned the loyalty program and several discounts they offer, and mentioned they are open 7 days a week. Overall, the best scooter experience!

EaDo Bike Co has become my local bike shop for any repairs or tuneups that my bike needs. All of…read morethe staff have always been friendly and it has never been too busy on my visits here. Note that they are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays weekly. They don't have their own parking and there are limited spots on the street. I guess that's the point, right? Come via bike and bring your bike in so that you can get it taken care of and maybe some additional accessories for it. On my latest visit, I got the Basic tune-up package ($85) and an overhaul on the wheel hub ($35) because they noticed excessive noise on the spoke when I came in with my bike. While this does seem on the pricey side and they have other tune-up packages that are more expensive, I trust their workmanship and can walk out knowing that my bike is in the best shape and has had a comprehensive safety check. My service had about a 3-day turnaround time. I brought it in on a Thursday and they notified me on Sunday that it was complete. Do take into account that if you bring your bike in on a Sunday or Monday, this turnaround may be a little longer because of their closed days. When I received my bike, it felt good as new again and I was excited to be back on the road with it. I totally recommend EaDo Bike Co for your bike service needs. They do have bikes and accessories for sale as well. I was looking for a light to use for night riding, but the ones here were a little pricey (set for ~$150), so I opted to do some research and purchase on Amazon instead.

When we walked in, there was no one at the front, and we weren't greeted. We spent several minutes looking around without anyone acknowledging us. I pulled one bike out of the rack simply to sit on it and see if it was the right size. At that point, an employee immediately approached me and said, "I don't want anyone pulling bikes out and sitting on them." There were no signs indicating that customers should not do this, and no one had spoken to us beforehand. I'm a 53-year-old professional, and I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect. The way I was approached made me feel like I was a teenager causing problems in the store, when all I was trying to do was determine whether the bike fit me. First impressions matter. Instead of feeling welcomed as a potential customer, I felt reprimanded. A much better approach would have been to greet us when we came in, ask if we needed assistance, and politely explain your policy if customers aren't permitted to remove bikes from the rack themselves. UPDATE (08/01/2026): Don't waste your time visiting this place. Customer Service is horrible. We bought 2 e-bikes from Planetary Cycles this weekend. Go check them out! Your loss Eado Bike Co.! When you treat customers with respect, this is how you get rewarded.

I rented a hybrid bike for a 2 hour rental last Saturday. Actually I reserved it online a few days…read moreearlier which I would recommend for you to do. On the day of my rental the weather was very nice and demand was high. I might not have been able to get mine had I just walked up that day. Online rentals allow you paying half of the rental online and the other half when you pick it up or you can just pay the entire amount online. My 2 hour rental was $18 and when I arrived they were very busy with other customers but I didn't have to wait more than about 5 minutes for my bike to appear. They aired up the tires and gave me a helmet to wear. It was a nice black bike with 21 gears and a storage bag on the front handlebars. After adjusting the seat, I was ready to go. That day my group went 14 miles on the White Oak Bayou bike trail and the bike performed flawlessly. It never missed a gear change. My rental included a 30 minute grace period which I used in its entirety because of a late start and a drink break along the way. When I returned the bike they were very friendly and thanked me for the business. I couldn't have asked for more. They have other types of bikes to rent like cruisers that have much more comfortable seats, kid bikes, bicycles for two, etc. Check out the website. If you come down to Buffalo Bayou Park to bike and need a rental this is where you should come. While the Houston B Cycles are much cheaper (and may not be available to rent) there is a vast difference in quality between their 3 speed heavy bikes and what Bike Barn has to offer.

Although I had a few drinks, my partner and I chose to eat beforehand because we were unsure if food trucks would be available due to the holiday. The team at the bar was very friendly, providing great drink recommendations, and other staff members consistently came around to collect empty glasses, keeping the area tidy. We reserved a cabana, which was a great decision, especially when the rain came later in the day, as it kept us covered. There was plenty of seating available around the pool and in grassy shaded areas away from the pool. Bathrooms and showers were also accessible if you wanted to change clothes. One suggestion I would make is to have a more diverse music playlist. While the venue advertised that pop music would be played, it didn't always match the preferences of everyone there, especially given the diverse group of guests in attendance. Also, make sure to bring your ID; otherwise, you won't be allowed in. I had to make a trip back home to retrieve mine, even with a valid photo ID. If anyone managed to get in without an ID, please comment below and let me know! Overall, I would recommend this club.
