The IDs will normally be filed by initials of the person who registered (i.e. Eazy Rider rental 1 hour would be E.R with the time of return). As we were scooting around the city we noticed that ERYD Scooter Rentals have two other locations in the Downtown area. Depending on when you arrive if you do not already have a reservation there could be a wait which on this night it was only one person working the desk but luckily we got in before the crowd (As of this post they are hiring). What I liked about this scooter company is their scooters and trikes have a well seen purple light in front and small rear red light on the rear. If you want to be more visible throw a strobing bike light on a small sling bag/backpack. They offer helmets for use if you want. If you have never ridden before one of the employees will give you a briefing on how to use the controls and what to do if your scooter becomes inoperable. We did 1-hour this night and visited Discovery Green, Market Square, The POST, Main St, most of downtown and parts of 3rd Ward closest to Emancipation St and we still had 5 minutes left on the meter, the scooters can go up to 26 mph. Great value. What I did not like, was no W/C on site and parking(Be careful where you park..tow trucks waiting and I saw multiple spots of tint and broken glass on some side streets going east from this location(not lit side streets). P.S. Bend your knees for suspension going over rough terrain and be ready for a decent workout mentally and physically.

They are the best! Every time I'm downtown, I see everyone so cheerfully gliding and seeing the…read morescenery and I felt left out so I had to. So let me tell y'all what happened... Came in a group and we bought 1 hour. Came out to a little over $80. The staff was friendly and informative. The girl with the braces who work there had some cute lashes and let us know not to ride on the sidewalks. I agreed not to ride on the sidewalks but when I saw Club Island 1515, I rode on the side walk but don't tell the police ‍ lol. We got on our scooters and I was like Ooooooh THEY GOT A BLUETOOTH SPEAKER! My entire ride felt like the club. I had my Apple Music playlist on Go! I ride motorcycles so wind blowing on me is everything while in motion. Like it really means something to me. I was so looking forward to this. Now this was my first time and I didn't know what I was doing. My cousin crashed one time but eventually got the hang of it lol. I was a little rusty starting off but got it down pretty fast. I had no idea they can go that fast. It was like 25mph which SOUNDS slow but uhm... rest assured it was not. Pressing the gas all the way down too fast will send you souring quickly. We rode around downtown for about 45 minutes then made our way back to Glyders using GPS of course. I don't know my way around the downtown of any city. They gave us free margaritas when we got back! They really rocked my world! Once we turned in our scooters, WE DIDNT REMEMBER WHERE WE PARKED . Glyders has a ATV they gave us a lift to where "we thought" my car was. We got off the ATV only to discover we were lost in the middle of downtown Houston lmao. We walked around hopelessly and hot. Lol It became exhausting and stressful. We looked and looked and walked and walked. Finally I was like HOLD UP I didn't sign up for this! I called Glyders and told them I was at the corner of Travis and Bell. They pulled up on us and picked us back up lol. They were like where did you park? US: "uhmmm... it was like a square parking lot that said $10 parking and we parked on the side so we didn't have to pay $10" lmao. This describes every parking lot downtown hahahaha. I took a picture in my iPhone on the walk to Glyders after we parked and it had Fannin street on the sign in the pic. The pic location told us it was taken off Fannin and Walker St. so Glyders took us there. I have never been So Happy to see my car ever in all of my life. I wanted to kiss the car window. GLYDERZ GETS 5 STARS only because they can't get 10 stars. We will definitely be back and I will definitely be bringing more people with me

First time renting a scooter downtown. Had some foot pain and needed to get off it to get around…read morethat afternoon. The staff couldn't have made it easier to rent one! Walked me through all the specifics and made me feel safe to take it out within 5-10 minutes. I planned on needing to rent it longer than the typical times and they made that process to add time very easy. Will definitely consider them next time I'm in the mood to scoot!

In addition to having scooters, Swerv also has a snack bar, so we purchased some items to hydrate. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the place was nice and clean. The staff mentioned the loyalty program and several discounts they offer, and mentioned they are open 7 days a week. Overall, the best scooter experience!
