I'm very disappointed with Menchie's. Last year for my son's birthday they were more than happy to accommodate his gluten-free needs by doing the base of his cake with a hard chocolate layer instead of regular cake this year I called to get a cake for him and they told me they would not be able to do it. It's really not that hard to replace the bottom layer with hard chocolate instead of cake. I hope Menchies realizes that they're missing out on customers by doing this. Very disappointed in them altogether and this location for not accommodating my son's allergy for his birthday. read more

Free samples galore!! I always load up on the samples before filling my cup to the max. I put as much as I can physically fit inside that little cup before it explodes. The employees usually eyeball me as I try to fit as much Toffee, Hershey chocolate shell sauce and cookie dough bites in my menchies cup. It's like 90 percent toppings and the rest is yogurt. The toppings are just to tempting. I need help. I joined the Menchies smile club thing on their app and got five bucks off, yesss.....thank you, thank you. The parking lot is usually super crowded here and it's on a very busy street, Ventura Blvd. I think that's the downside, and they didn't have he original plain tart flavor today. Haven't been here in years! Decided to come today while out in the area. I got the pure chocolate, cookies and cream and Dutch chocolate. The cookies abs cream had a really weird chemical taste, but the two chocolates were smooth, creamy and yummy! It is hot as hell out today, so I had to chow down quick! It hit the spot and did what it needed to do! It was over 7.00, so pretty pricey. All in all, they still have the best frozen yogurt IMO. read more

This particular one we went to while visiting family in LA and the location and parking are great and the abundance of flavors that include sugar free options and toppings were as always fantastic and sadly not available in Portland. Dirtiest Menchies we've ever been to. Inside is nasty - white chairs are black. Tables are sticky. Toppings bar feels dirty. Every time we come at least one machine is broken. Employees seem bored to death (don't blame them) and are doing the bare minimum and obviously never cleaning. Outside patio is even worse - wobbly, dirty chairs and tables, trash left out, and the ground is covered in soot and old gum. Firepit sits inoperable. Giant connect 4 game has likely never been wiped down. Won't come back here until they change their management and replace the old nasty furnishings. read more

This is probably the worst managed Menchie's I have been too. It's 12:14 and although they open at noon ( which really isn't convenient) the yogurt machines still are not available for use. For their flagship store they really need to be ready at the time they open for customers. read more

Absolutely filthy. The table was so wobbly and looked like it was 10 years old it was so uncomfortable to eat at. The patio is disgusting and needs pressure washed, the high chairs sickening, and bathroom smelled terrible. Girls were friendly. A lot of hype and even more letdown. The flavors aren't that interesting, the fruit toppings don't seem that fresh and despite having recently opened, this place already looks beat-up. I much prefer Menchie's over the Yogurtland across the street. The biggest difference is that this place is not stingy with the sample cups the way Yogurtland is. They leave them out for everybody to sample all of the different flavors without constantly having to ask the staff for sample cups. Plus, this place gets some big name brands as flavors, such as Reese's Peanut Butter Cup and York Peppermint Patties. The rewards program with Menchie's is great, and helps offset the noticeable price increase that has happened over time. This particular location is really nice, with a fire pit outside and games for the kids. There is plenty of seating inside, too. I believe that this is the closest one to headquarters. I would say that this is the best self-serve yogurt option of the many available. Flavors are good and the overall setup works. read more

Encino unlucky cuz its almot always 20 degrees hotter than my house but lucky cuz it has a Menchies!!! This place has a Menchies training facility so staff is wonderful, customer areas are very clean and even carries Menchies branded t shirts! Top notch! Plenty of tables inside, & outside. Apparently, this is some sort of training store. For that reason, I usually cut them some slack when it comes to customer service. Sometimes you get great service from some eager people and other times, like tonight, you get people who should probably look for another line of work. Stopped here with my 6-year old this evening as a treat for all the quarantine homework she's doing. They are doing a great job serving and protecting their customers. They have a menu of all the flavors they offer, thy priced by size. A small serving comes with 1 topping and all additional toppings are $1 each. Which honestly ends up what it was by the time my kid loaded every topping onto her frozen yogurt prior to the quarantine . The frozen yogurt is yummy and the staff is really nice.
