This quest left me with many unimpressive and expensive experiences. Then, I happened across Dan at GN Northwest and my search was over. This has been several years ago now, and I consider myself incredibly lucky. He is the only mechanic I've come across that I trust like my brother. He is professional, incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, ethical and honest, amazingly helpful, and has the utmost integrity. He has always been able to troubleshoot and repair my vehicle issues, explains repairs and pricing, keeps costs to a minimum, and never tries to up-sell me on unnecessary repairs/replacements even when I've suggested something be done in an attempt to be pro-active. He is always going out of his way to help his customers maintain their vehicles as affordably as possible, and without unnecessary expenses. He is consistent and timely about communicating, and (amazingly) has an incredibly clean, organized shop (you should have seen my dad's (o:). Because I trust Dan and his crew so much, I refer GN Northwest to all my connections in need of auto repair work. Amazingly, one of my friends I referred went to see Dan after I referred him, and was thrilled. He used to use Dan's services before GN Northwest moved to it's existing location, and hadn't known where the business moved to. He was grateful to re-establish business with Dan, and is now a happy, loyal customer again. This is a great indicator of an impressive business, that has made such a positive impact on customers for so long. I can't say enough positive things about what a fantastic mechanic, business owner, and person in general he is. I hope he stays in business as long as I'm driving. I doubt I'll ever find another mechanic and business owner as impressive!

Back in 2015 I had an oil change performed at A1 Auto Service Center on my 2014 Mazda 6. Several…read moreweeks later my oil pressure light came on while driving and my engine sounds were alarming. I took the car to my dealership and they pointed out that the oil filter had likely failed as the oil had leaked out which caused heavy engine damage. I contacted A1 Auto Service Center and was told that since the oil filter was good when I drove away, that it was my problem to deal with. After a LOT of back and forth over weeks and months WIX, A1 Auto Service Center's oil filter supplier, eventually covered the damage to my car. However the approximate $5,000 in rental car charges that I incurred, due to not having a working vehicle for several months, was never recouped. After doing some research into the industry, it turns out shops like A1 Auto Service Center are required to have insurance to cover situations like this and they didn't have it. In the end A1 Auto Service Center put the responsibility on me to pursue their oil filter supplier while they refused to take any responsibility. A reputable shop would have provided a backup vehicle while they took point and got it sorted out. I understand companies being cautious about accepting liability but this should never come at the expense of the customer. I felt helpless as these two companies consistently pointed the finger at each other all while I'm incurring debt in order to secure transportation just so I don't lose my job and ability to provide for my family. The way the owner/manager conducted himself towards me was disgraceful, disrespectful, and showed a complete lack of care for my situation as his customer. Everyone I spoke to that was involved in this ordeal had similar things to say him and the way he does business. This is, by far, the worst experience in customer service that I have ever received. That is why I have come back 10 years later to drop this review.

I honestly did not know what to expect since this is my first time getting a detailing service but I am pleasantly surprised by the results. I just took delivery of a model 3 and Tesla being Tesla, it wasn't on its best looks and then it snowed in Seattle so the car just picked up more nasties along the way. The blue paint on the car did not even look blue anymore but Daniel did an amazing job at washing the car. My car finally looks properly blue, wheels clean and all The deal was only an exterior detail but he was even willing to do the all weather carpets for me because they were also dirty at the time. I hired Memon mobile car detailing to get the mold out of the interior of a used truck I just bought. The previous owner left the back window open for a long time and the smell of mold was strong and there was a lot of visible mold spores. He did an excellent, thorough job of completely getting rid of all the mold and the smell is now gone too. There was even a nasty old stain on the head rest, looked like a combination of old hair grease and black mold, I was set on throwing it away and replacing it, but he completely got rid of it, not a speck of anything left. Daniyal agreed to show up at 9am at my home. He alerted me prior to 9am that he was running a few minutes late due to a bit of a car issue. Having twin 12 year olds, my car takes a beating. Daniyal restored it to the point I don't want anyone in it. He did a fantastic job on my vehicle. After my detail, upon driving the first time, I noticed a small piece of metal missing from my heat controls. Some may not have noticed, but something like this would drive me crazy. Gregg was really great listening to what I wanted addressed in the vehicle (there was a tough stain on the headliner that I was unsuccessful in cleaning). When I picked up the vehicle it looked amazing. The engine bay was immaculate. The headlights were fully restored. And the interior of the car is free of stains and looks brand new! I talked to experienced acquaintances who told me not to buy from the dealer, but to get a pro specialist to do the job. I'm so glad I did that. I looked around and got some quotes. I found this place by reputation and they were competitive on price, professional, and knew their business. They helped me with ideas on how to improve the look of the car with chrome blackout and other aesthetic suggestions. They didn't charge much extra for those and really helped me like the look of the car better. They also did some extras gratis. They sent me pictures as they did the job and really helped me to get excited about their excellent work. I enjoyed the car for a year, did the proper care for it by hand washing regularly, reapplying the coating every few washes. Was really blown away at our 1 year appointment--they got a few stains out of the interior for a modest fee and now my car looks like new both inside and out again. The normal fee for the annual appointment to refresh the coating was $165 and they charged me just a fraction of that extra to take care of the minor interior stains and professionally condition the leather. They earned not only their fee but great tips each time I went because they far exceeded my expectations. I'm so happy I chose to give this shop my business.

Jeff was incredibly fast to respond and even came out to our house for a inspection, which was huge! I wasn't able to get him photos ahead of time, but he understood the urgency and he offered to send his team to take a look in person, all within 24 hours. When I asked for a ballpark estimate, he didn't just throw out a number, he gave a super detailed breakdown of options from basic detailing all the way up to a full mold remediation overhaul. What really stood out to me was the transparency: after inspecting the car, he told me the issue wasn't as severe as I feared and recommended a less invasive service at lower cost that made sense for our situation. No upselling, zero pressure: just a realistic assessment of what the car actually needed. From the assessment to completion, the entire process truly felt like white-glove service. During the cleaning, they checked in periodically and gave updates. They were thoughtful about setting expectations around stains that might not come out completely, and they clearly took a lot of pride in their work. Our car is older (2008) and mostly used for outdoor activities, so I was surprised they even bothered to eradicate some stains--and the effort absolutely showed. Between the free in-person inspection, clear communication, and genuine honesty about costs and options, this experience was a standout. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be using them again, especially after backpacking season!

I brought in my well-kept sedan for an exterior detail quote and received a reasonable price for what will be outstanding work. Also simultaneously my friend dropped off her 34-year-old sports car convertible Collectible for a presale beautification inside and out. It was everywhere, in all the nooks and crannies. The car was basically un drivable and we needed it on Monday. In a panic we called several places and no one was able to help us out on such short notice until I called The Chemical Guys. Daniel said he'd be at our house at 9am on Saturday. When he showed up promptly I explained our predicament and he reassured me he'd take care of the mess. 6 hours later the interior was cleaner than it had ever been with no weird chemical smell from the powder.

They recently installed full PPF on our GR Corolla, and I'm still blown away by the attention to detail in the install. If you're looking for a reputable installer for PPF, ceramic, and tint, this shop is it! Not only do they do a phenomenal job on the install - their "post-install" support is the best I've experienced with any shop. The rental car is the icing on the cake and makes getting work done incredibly convenient.

I went through the whole car and used Griots detailing cleaner along with their standard interior spray and I gotta say it looked a whole lot better. I hope they read this and remember 2019 Black Cadillac ATS Luxury with Black leather interior. Don't go there!!!
