On a beautiful Saturday the Lynnwood locations car wash was unfortunately closed. Against our better judgement we went to the dreaded Alderwood location to clean our son's car. The car wash started and immediately the middle of the windshield cracked and then spidered into the entire windshield. We reported the incident immediately and took several photos. There was no manager on duty on a Saturday? We then contacted him first thing Monday morning. He insisted we drive the car back where he told us the crack was in the inside...hmm. I guess not only is he a weekday manager but also a glass expert. We have tried several times to get anyone (else) to return our calls to no avail and there is apparently no other manager to talk to at anytime onsite. Our insurance has told us they will not cover it as it is considered third party damage. Not to mention at time of purchase on the inspection of the vehicle no windshield damage was found. So my (Autistic) 16 year old is left with a car that is illegal to drive. Thanks Levine family, we will never use your company again. We will now determine if this is worth pursuing in small claims court.

Perfunctory work…read more Didn't really try to do a complete job. There was dirt between the door and the car, around the door handles, and next to other trim. Spots on the leather. Didn't dress the leather, which it really needed. There were still large stains on the rim under the hood; we asked them to work on it, but they said they couldn't, as it needs a hard brush to remove and they don't use that. Went home, spent 5 minutes with cleaning wax and it was basically gone. See photo for the before, they wouldn't touch this. This wasn't due to a very dirty car. They allocate 4 hours, but only took a bit over 3 hours, so it's not as if they spent lots of time on other parts. When I got home, I spent about 45 minutes completing the work they didn't do. Overall, a pretty meh job, especially for the price. Not horrible, just meh.

As I was trying to troubleshoot a gentleman from karmichael came and told me that stall was out of order and we should contact the number for a refund. Here is my shock... When I explained what had happened he said "why would you move the cones and proceed to pay and use the stall. It is obviously under construction" I said "there were no cones blocking the stalls." And explained that I was using the touch less auto wash. No apologies, "just send me your address and details and I will send you a check." Wow, at no point did I act entitled or hostile for my refund but he sure made it clear that I was inconveniencing him. I support local businesses but I will definitely drive 15 minutes out of my way to go find another business. Not worth the quality or price. This is the third 911 I've had PPF applied to, but my first experience with Benchmark, and they absolutely exceeded expectations. The quality of their work is outstanding. There are noticeably fewer seams than I've seen from other installers, and on the headlights and other tricky areas, they managed to lay the film cleanly to the edges. This makes a huge difference in avoiding dirt lines, potential lift points, and other issues over time. They were able to schedule me within about a week of my initial outreach, and throughout the process they were professional, friendly, and delivered excellent value for the work. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and highly recommend their work.

I made my appointment 2 weeks prior so the fact that I wasn't made aware of this fee until the night before the service is crazy.
